Simon was exceptional. He arrived promptly at the front entrance of our hotel and thoughtfully provided beverages and snacks. Communication before, during, and after the tour was consistently excellent. Both the vehicle and his driving ensured a high level of safety. He facilitated visits to these three stunning destinations with great ease, anticipating and accommodating any needs or preferences, and taking as many photos as we desired! Absolutely outstanding private tour – Simon made it the highlight of our trip to England! We booked the Private Tour to Stonehenge, Bath and The Cotswolds from London and were lucky enough to have Simon as our guide. From the moment he picked us up, everything was seamless, personal, and genuinely special. Simon arrived right on time in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle and immediately put us at ease with his warm, friendly manner. He timed our arrival at Stonehenge perfectly so we got there before the big coach groups – it felt almost private as we walked around the stones. His knowledge of the site was incredible; he explained the latest archaeological findings and theories in a way that was fascinating without being overwhelming, and he answered every question with enthusiasm and insight. In Bath he guided us expertly through the Roman Baths and the beautiful Georgian streets, sharing stories that brought the history to life. Then came the Cotswolds – the honey-coloured villages (Castle Combe and Lacock were pure magic) looked like something out of a storybook. Simon knew exactly where to stop for the best photos and the most atmospheric spots, and he was flexible with the itinerary so we could linger where we wanted. What really set the day apart was Simon himself. He was not only deeply knowledgeable about history, architecture, and the countryside, but also great company – engaging, thoughtful, and attentive to what we were interested in. The whole day felt relaxed yet perfectly paced, never rushed. Lunch recommendations were spot-on too. This was so much better than any large group tour could ever be. If you’re considering this itinerary, book it and specifically ask for Simon if possible. We can’t recommend him (or this experience) highly enough – five stars doesn’t feel like enough!

We booked this tour directly with the company, and we had Oz as our tour guide. He was awesome! He knew the best spots to take photos at the locations and we actually got to Stonehenge first thing when they opened, so we beat all of the tour bus crowds. He helped us choose the right place for lunch and it ended up being delicious! He kept us moving at a good pace, not too long and not too short at the stops. He did a great job of explaining the history around the locations in an easy to understand manner that both of our teenagers grasped. Would 100% recommend this trip to anyone! Oz was amazing!

This was an extraordinary experience. I’ve taken tours all over the world, and this was the best organized and best executed trip I’ve ever been on. Best pick for traveling the British countryside! Our lovely guide Peter Iles made this trip the most enjoyable part of our time in London. His easy manner and deep command of the history of the region made for a very enriching experience. He explains Stonehenge as if a scholar and had an infectious enthusiasm for explaining the theories behind this monument. He made it feel like even though this monument is in Britain, it represents the ancient wisdom that is certainly in all our ancestors pasts. I wish we had more time here to arrange other trips with Peter as our guide!

Absolutely the BEST tour we've ever been on! Oz is not just a tour guide but a friend and great wealth of knowledge! We had two amazing day trips with Oz as our tour guide. He made each tour specific to our likes. We even stopped for coffee on the way to Stonehenge because of that stop he checked the Google Maps and it showed an accident on 303 hwy. Which we took a detour, but the bigger busses always stay on the path despite accidents on the roadways, We got to Stonehenge before everyone else and had it all to ourselves for 15 mins which is unheard of! He walked us through talking about the site and answering all our questions good, bad and the ugly. . Even when we went to Bath he already had an idea we wanted a good steak and ale pie, he had looked it up the night before and suggested The Raven which was one of the best pies and pints we had. I know it seems kinda pricy BUT TRUST ME IT IS WORTH EVERY PENNY! The one one experience is so worth it! If you were to splurge on a once in a lifetime trip I would pick this company hands down! By the time this ended we were planning another trip via this amazing company. He say's he has people who specialize in different locations. We are now looking to book with them for Wales, S. England and N. England going into Scotland. We also hired Tailored Tours to help us get from our hotel to Fullers Brewery > OVO Wembley for a concert > and Pickup from OVO to our hotel. Richard was our driver that day and what a wonderful man who made our experience so easy. Which we were worried about coming to an unknown country and trying to figure out concert logistics.

Full disclosure: I usually do not take the time to write a review, but speaking for the group I traveled with, we all felt this one truly deserved it. Before getting into the details of the tour, I want to mention that Tailored Tours made the overall booking experience and the time leading up to the tour a splendid experience. Being a small company, it felt much easier to communicate with them. They reached out days before the tour to help make travel accommodations and to ask if there was anything we needed to make the experience more enjoyable. Our group was very grateful for this. As for the tour itself, it was a wonderful experience and the highlight of all the activities our group did in the UK. With the name “Tailored Tours,” the company truly lived up to it. Based on our wishes, they constructed the tour so we spent less time at Stonehenge and more time in Bath and the Cotswolds. All three were must-see locations, but we especially wanted extra time to enjoy the beautiful city of Bath. Our group had a variety of people who were more interested in history, landscapes, or shopping. Everyone had the opportunity to do what they wanted, and we really appreciated that flexibility. Christen, our tour guide, was absolutely incredible. He was a great person and did a wonderful job making the experience enjoyable for everyone in the group. The tour was wonderful, we learn so much about the three places we visited. We loved Bath and Cotswold, and we learn a lot about Stonehenge. Peter was a great tour guide. He has so much information about each place we visited. His car was very comfortable and clean. He was a smooth driver. He gave us tips on how to dress for the weather and places to eat. We had an incredible day touring Stonehenge, the Roman Baths, and the Cotswolds with Dave. My husband and I went with our two young children 2 and 5 and everyone had a great time. It was a long time in a car for the kids but they did surprisingly well. Richard, our guide, was both informative and engaging. Of the tours that we have taken he has been the best one. Stonehenge was decided favorite, Bath was gorgeous and we got some treats in a little bakery in Lacock.

Will was our tour guide and did a great job. We have 3 teenagers, so we wondered how they would hold up with a driving/history/architecture tour, but they loved it. Stonehenge is a must see and well worth the visit. It's more impressive in person. Bath may be one of the most beautiful towns we've ever seen, with great restaurants and shops. Castle Comb is straight out of a fairy tale. There is a lot of driving, but it's a good break from London walking tours, and Will used the time to provide history and instructions for the next site. It goes by pretty quickly. I recommend pre booking the tickets to Stonehenge for 2 hours after you leave London, and the Roman bath museum for 5.5 hours after. Our tour left at 730AM, so 930 and 100 pm. This provides time for lunch, beats the crowds, etc.

Great way to see these sights and the English countryside. Our guide Calvin was lovely and we really enjoyed our time with him. Certainly not an in-depth tour of any of these places, but very good for the amount of ground covered.

Richard drove our family of five to Stone Henge, Bath and the village of Lalock. I was quite impressed by his knowledge base and how through conversation, he could continually spin off with interesting historical information. I really felt like we had our own BBC documentary narrator. The ride was always air conditioned and pulled around for us before we could spot him. So glad we did it and worth every penny.

Had the best private tour to Stonehenge, Bath and the Cotwolds a few weeks ago. The weather couldn't have been better and Ozzy got us there right at the beginning when it wasn't crowded. It was truly remarkable. We were a family of 4, two of which were children. The history and in depth detail that Ozzy offered made all the difference. We knew the basics around everything but not the whole story and he also took the time in Bath to show us where Bridgerton was filmed, our toddler is named after one of the characters. The additional add on of the Cotswold was really cool to see as well seeing I'm a huge Harry Potter fan and just seeing the countryside was beautiful. I am thrilled to be able to refer all my clients here for their private tours in London. Personable, safe, helpful, and just great to talk to. When we find ourselves back in London we will be booking again.
