Our guide, OZ was wonderful and provided lots of information on each site we visited. He had extensive historical knowledge to impart which made the day very enjoyable.

We had an absolutely wonderful time with Christian as he shared his deep knowledge of the background and the historic landmarks. Christian's style was not to recite the historical facts all day long. Instead, Christian put a personal touch in leading the tours so we felt very comfortable. He was very pleasant, enjoyable, humorous, and highly entertaining all day long. He was also very accommodating with our preferring a 'grab and go lunch' (versus sit down at a restaurant) in order to maximize the time for sightseeing and picture taking. Everything we saw was incredible. The history, the architecture, the countryside. Our guide explained many historical details in a very lively manner keeping my teenagers entertained during the day trip.

This is a good tour for when you are looking to expand your trip out of London. Our tour guide Peter was fabulous. The sights were nice, but I would prioritize Central London and Windsor Castle above these locations.

Wonderful day. Leeds Castle is gorgeous. White cliffs of Dover was something I had always wanted to see. Canterbury obviously very historic and I learned much I did not know. Wish I had read. Canterbury Tales (or at least cliff notes prior :)) Christian went out of his way to ensure we had a perfect day. Knowledgeable and KIND guide. We really enjoyed our time with him. All tickets were booked, picked us up in the morning and everything was smooth. Smart and accommodating, but also just a nice guy- which matters when you are with them all day. Cannot say enough about the quality of our guide, We are fortunate to have done many many private tours around the world, and Christian was a top guide. Lovely day. I recommend this.

Ozzy, our guide, and Christian, our driver, were a delight. Very knowledgeable of the area and full of good stories. They adjusted the tour where they could to accomodate our interests - we spent a little less time in the Dover area and a little more at in Canterbury. The vehicle was comfortable and most importantly we could bring our morning coffee!

Our second tour on our vacation with Tailored Tours and Oz. He is the perfect guide and extremely knowledgeable of UK history (he was a university degree in history) as well as fascinating tidbits regarding history's influence on current English language terms and the shaping of life today in the UK. Very helpful and patient helping my friend and me with our 80 year old moms who thoroughly enjoyed their time. His van is spacious, clean and comfortable and his driving is expert. We had a wonderful tour of Leeds Castle, the White Cliffs of Dover, and Canterbury. Our tour guide, Pablo, was one of the best who obviously loves history and was able to tell great stories based on the histories of each location we toured. As an example he went into great detail on about Leeds Castle, our first stop, naming who built it and how Lady Baillie and the efforts she put into restoring it along with her relationships while do so. Great tour and a excellent tour guide that made it special.

We were lucky to have Oz as our tour operator for a trip to Dover to meet our cruise ship and then a return pickup back to London. The return trip included tours of Leeds Castle and Canterbury Cathedral. Oz possesses unique knowledge given his History studies and passion for English lore.

I've wanted to visit England since learning about the history of the British Empire in school. I finally got the opportunity to visit and wanted to get the best experience. I googled the best tours and after a little research I came across TT. Going on the reviews of past tours I decided to give them a go and boy am I glad that I did. I was travelling solo and my guide for the day, Ozzie, really lived up to the company name and tailored everything to my wishes. We had an amazing time in Kent and I learnt so much about the history of the county as well as the whole country, the monarchy and so much more besides. Lots of history and great cultural perspective of where and how the people and places across the country originated, managed, and thrived into contemporary England. Our group of 7 had a marvelous time on this tour. Our driver, Will, was fun and informative. The stop at the Battle of Britain really brought home how narrow the Channel is, and we loved walking on the beach at the Cliffs. Oz picked us up right at 7:30a from our hotel to start the tour. The van was comfortable and clean. Oz started telling us about the different areas we were driving through as well as the history for the sights we were headed to. He also answered any random questions we had along the way. He is incredibly engaging and knowledgeable. You can tell he loves sharing that knowledge with people on his tours. I would recommend him to anyone coming to London and would not hesitate to book him again.

This was a fantastic experience! Just the right amount of sites to fit a day, with enough time at each stop. I loved all of it. Oz is really knowledgeable about English history, and we spent the drive time discussing the history relevant to the next stop. It gave so much more meaning to each site, and I went home knowing so much more! The places were also beautiful, especially the Leeds castle grounds. Standing on the Dover cliffs and seeing France on the horizon, as well as walking thru Canterbury, priceless memories

Thanks to the expert planning communication with Sam, we were punctually collected at our hotel and transported by van for our day out with Oz. The day felt more like a meet up with a new friend than a tour. We learned and laughed throughout the day. Oz's suggestion of “Tiny Tim’s Tearoom” in Canterbury proved to be the perfect spot for lunch prior to exploring Canterbury Cathedral and the city. Sharing his knowledge of the Battle of Britain at the Memorial, Oz illuminated a piece of history - with color - that we non-Brits found fascinating and his knowledge of the history of Leeds Castle and Lady Baillie added an extra layer to the visit to a beautiful castle and grounds. At the end of it all, I can’t remember if Oz is a "Man of Kent" or a "Kentish man", but what I will not forget is his interest in etymology, his easy going style and flexibility and his history teacher background. We highly recommend working with this top notch duo.

Hie talent is to communicate the history in an understandable and non-overwhelming style that made it interesting. It wasn't just dates and names, but stories.
