It is always nerve wrecking booking tours in a foreign country online. This was quite the opposite. Tailored Tours took care of us, from start to finish. Shout out to Oliver for his professionalism, patience and kindness through the booking process. He took the time to understand the needs of our group (included 2 senior citizens with minor health constraints). Peter, our tour guide and driver was a perfect match. His wealth of knowledge satisfied the curious minds of some of our group members. His flexibility when needed was very much appreciated. Having our tickets included in the package made the visits easier. One less thing to think about. The vehicle was clean and comfortable for the days trip. These two stops are a must on your next visit.

Christian was phenomenal. He got us to the places earlier so he would avoid the crowds. He knew lots of history about Stonehenge and bath. It was a very comfortable van and he was a very good driver. Would definitely tour again with him one day.

Christian was very delightful and helped with lots of pictures. The info he gave us was really historical and made you feel like you were there in that timeframe. He showed us best picture taking sites around Stonehenge so photos came out perfect. Bath was the same, loved the history, tour around the site and we had a local lunch that was on our own.

Our guide Christian was absolutely fantastic—funny, friendly, and incredibly informative. He showed us amazing sights, and even went beyond what we asked for, tailoring the trip perfectly to our interests. We saw so many cool places and felt like we got the best experience possible—highly recommend to have him as your private guide for the trip :)

Oliver was an excellent tour guide. Very knowledgeable about history and super patient with my 8 year old son that wouldn’t stop talking to him. I would hire him again for a different tour next time we are in London.

My 16 year old son and I did a private tour with Oz to Stonehenge and Bath. It was great! We were lucky enough to depart from Kensington which reduced our drive time, so Oz took us through Richmond to see some of the Ted Lasso sights. He got us to Stonehenge early enough to avoid the crowds and gave us lots of great info during the drive. Once in Bath, my latin student and I focused on the Roman Bath and temple which we loved! It's a charming town with a beautiful Abbey and lots of shopping and restaurants. Oz was such a great guide and provided historical background in addition to fun things like locations from tv and film. Highly recommend!

My wife and I took a private tour from London to Stonehenge, Bath and the Cotswolds with Peter. The entire experience was outstanding. Peter picked us up from our central London hotel in a very comfortable Mercedes van. He is very knowledgeable and loves to share his knowledge with guests, and we discussed all manner of British history, politics, etc. with Peter on the drive out. Although it was a crisp January day, Peter kept us comfortable and enlightened us on the mysteries of Stonehenge and the Roman and 18th century history of the lovely city of Bath. I would highly recommend this tour.

We did the private tour with our guide, Will. It was an exceptional day filled with fascinating facts and perspectives, friendly conversation, and wonderful sites. Will was an excellent host and gave us all of the information we wanted to hear. We had two kids with us and they remained engaged the whole time and found it very interesting as well. We would highly recommend this tour to anybody interested in a sightseeing tour of the countryside of England in a private setting.

What an amazing trip from Southampton to Stonehenge and Bath on our way to London. Oz was exceptional with his historical and local knowledge, sharing information all along the way with some local suggestions for our London stay, too. Super driver, van had great leg room and loved the sound system allowing all of us to hear him. Highly recommend this tour company!

Everything I could have hoped for and more. Oliver was brilliant, adapting the itinerary and his commentary to my interests. Our early arrival to Stonehenge afforded a spectacular, unobstructed time here. In Bath, his pre-arrival commentary made the Roman baths museum experience all the richer. When I shared my love for Jane Austen, Oliver made sure I got into the center in Bath for a guided tour. I appreciated the way he identified points of interest all along our day's route, including in London. Oliver is most excellent, and I will never forget this incredible day.

Five star experience! Door to door hotel pick up and drop off. Our guide Oz was extremely knowledgeable and had the perfect day planned for our family. We learned all about the stones and were able to visit Stonehenge before the crowds, making for a magical morning. We then spent the afternoon leisurely enjoying all that Bath has to offer before returning back to our hotel. It was the perfect day trip out of the city!

Enjoyed a wonderful day tour to Stonehenge and Bath with Oz from Tailored Tours. Oz was a history major and you can feel his enthusiasm and knowledge as he describes the history of these fascinating sites. He was not just reciting a narrative that he learned in a tour guide class. He allows you to go at your own pace so, if you want to spend more or less time in either place, he is happy to oblige. His prices are also more reasonable than some other tour companies I contacted. I booked this tour several months in advance, which I strongly suggest as tourism has exploded since Covid, and last minute bookings with him might be difficult.

We had a fabulous tour to Stonehenge and Bath with Oz as our tour guide and driver. He is so knowledgeable about British history (his degree is in history) and you could tell he had a passion for what he was saying. He was not just regurgitating what he learned in a tour guide class. The car was very clean and we had plenty of free time in Bath to enjoy a great lunch and walk around. From beginning to end, this tour was fantastic! We started the day early so we could visit Stonehenge at its least crowded time. This proved to be a brilliant decision as we were able to see the stones without throngs of people. Peter made it so interesting as he described Stonehenge on our way there. We absolutely loved visiting Stonehenge, and it was made all the better because of Peter’s detailed information. We then traveled to Bath, which is a charming community. We toured the Roman Baths, had something to eat, and then were able to view a second site of stone monoliths. An absolute must do as a day trip from London. Peter was an incredible guide with so much knowledge and just charming in general. It is well worth the price to have a private guide

This was THE most amazing trip. We were a family of 5 aged 24 - 64 . At the end of every day, at dinner, each person shares their "rose, thorn, bud" for that day. What did you most enjoy (rose), what was your least favorite thing (thorn) and what are you most looking forward to (bud) . Every persons "rose" was Oz and the tour. It was the most intersting informative tour I've been on. The logistics were smooth and the communication was excellent. Highly recommend

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Stonehenge and Bath with Tailored Tours. Several things about the trip really made for a special day: Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and went far and beyond simply reading a script as we've experienced with other tours in the past. He provided an amazing amount of context and nuance to what we were seeing that helped us (and the kids) really connect other sites that we'd seen across London. He was also hugely patient with kids, which really, really helped them enjoy the day. Having a private car rather than cramming on a coach with others meant that we could make a stop if needed and allowed us some flexibility on the day. As well, we were picked up and dropped off at our flat which made the day much easier with children. The back office staff was highly communicative throughout, helped us navigate which tickets and at what times we should pre-purchase and checked in with us the day before to confirm everything. Not having any surprises was very nice. We couldn't have been any happier with our day with Tailored Tours. It was stress-free, hugely educational and made a memorable day out for the entire family. Couldn't recommend them more.
