Had a great tour with Nik of Kingdom Private Tours. Nik was funny, energetic, super informative, aware, and accommodating. Nik picked us up in his van at our Windsor hotel and we toured the mound near Avebury, then Avebury and its henge and ancient promenade then a yummy meal and then Stonehenge. It was all great. Very appreciative of Nik and shout out to Charles, manager at Kingdom Private Tours, for his patience and acumen.

Nik was an incredible guide and made the entire experience unforgettable. His knowledge of Stonehenge, Woodhenge, and the village of Lacock was outstanding, and he shared the history in a way that was engaging, fun, and easy to follow. He answered every question with enthusiasm and made sure everyone felt included throughout the tour. What really stood out was how passionate and personable he was. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does, and that energy made the day even better. Lacock was especially enjoyable with all the stories and details he shared about the village and its history. If you’re considering a tour, I highly recommend Nik. He did a fantastic job from start to finish and made the whole day memorable. Ask about the karaoke package preferably the Disney one.

Exceptional tour of Stonehenge, Woodhenge, Hampton Court and Bath! This was truly the highlight of our weeklong vacation in the UK. Our guide, Christopher, did an outstanding job of making our day so memorable! He gave insight into these places that really added to the tour. I also appreciated all the local insight he provided during the drive. Having the private tour allowed us to see these sights at our own pace. The artwork and gardens at Hampton Court were really spectacular. The tapestries, and beautiful paintings from Rubens and others was fascinating. The gardens , springing up with all kinds of tulips, daffodils and magnolias were artwork of gardening. It must’ve been awesome being king back in the days when this palace was active - eating chocolates and then going on a hunt! I’ve always wanted to see Stonehenge and I will forever remember it. Amazing architectural accomplishment and simply beautiful. And we had a bright sunny day as a bonus! Bath was also very interesting with all the Roman architecture and beautiful city. I’d highly recommend this tour for those looking for a private touch that will give you insight into these UK landmarks!

We had the most spectacular day! It was an amazing sunny, clear sky, spring day. Our guide and driver was Christopher. Before the trip the company let us know that the King was closing Windsor for several days during our week but suggested Hampton Court instead. I wouldn’t have considered it ordinarily, but I’m so glad we did because the gardens were AMAZING. They were at peak bloom and you couldn’t help but be joyous exploring them. Christopher gave us sage advice w how to manage our time knowing what the kids would enjoy and knowing how amazing the gardens were going to be on a peak spring day. Then we went first to Woodhenge (a pleasant unadvertised stop that I had not been to before) and Christopher gave context and explained the relationship to Stonehenge. Then we went on to Stonehenge where Christopher was our guide. He was well researched there as well and was incredibly good at getting our children engaged in what they otherwise considered “boring history.” We were grateful for his encouragement of their photography fun. Our last stop was Bath. I worried we would feel rushed but we really had a comfortable amount of time at each stop. We were able to explore the Roman bath museum and walk around a little bit and get the essence and charm of Bath. Christopher had a lovely, clean van with good window viewing so we were able to all see out and enjoy the landscape as we went. He made a smart choice for a lunch stop that allowed us each to pick a different restaurant in a food hall. This was a stellar day and we can’t say enough good things about our trip.

Tour was great! Mo took very good care of us and our preferences, taking us on detours and showing us some off the beaten paths. We were able to take our time in Stonehenge and Avebury stone circle, which was very important to us. He was very courteous and pleasant. The company communicated with us shortly after purchasing the tour with all of the details of what to expect. The morning of the tour Mo texted us half hour before picking us up at our London hotel. The vehicle was a large and comfortable ride equipped with all the essentials. He made sure we were comfortable all the way. Thank you Mo for the experience!

Amazing tour, even better tour guide! We had Nick for this tour and he wasn’t only a plethora of information, but very passionate about what he does. There is so much information that you will leave that elevates the entire experience. We stopped at the CUTEST little pub for lunch and the food was divine. This tour is a must do! 10/10!

Nick arrived on time and was very friendly and courteous and began right off the bat explaining our itinerary for the day. We arrived on time to each destination and at each tour he was very informative! Stonehenge the Roman Baths and Windsor castle was en experience that needless to say has to be done within anyone's lifetime. If you are up to a private tour, Nick is the man to contact! Everything about this tour was fantastic! We were picked up at hotel exactly on time by our friendly and charismatic tour guide Nic. The drive out to Avebury felt like 15 minutes because Nic kept the patter interesting and upbeat . The tour of Avebury, Silbury Hill and Kennet Long Barrow was fascinating . It was also very beautiful countryside. The henge was accessible to where you could touch the stones and walk amongst the avenues . Again, Nic kept up an interesting stream of information that kept us engaged . Silbury Hill is not accessible to the public , but was impressive . Kennet Longbarrow was also accessible , we could walk inside . What a wonderful day. Cannot think of a better way to spend a balmy Summer day in England . 5+ stars. Well Done!!!

We had excellent pre trip questions answered on Viator with the tour operator! We arranged for the tour pick up at the South Hampton Port following our NCL cruise. Our driver/guide was timed perfectly at 8-8:15am holding a sign with our name right in front of the door that we exited the terminal. Our transport (new, clean, roomy, coach) was only a few steps away. Our family of 6 were loaded and off we went! The coach had waters, wifi, tissues etc. Our driver/guide immediately made us feel secure and comfortable. We took off for Stonehenge. We did purchase our tickets in advance! We loved arriving early and ahead of the soon to be huge August crowds. He provided us the most insightful and thorough understanding of Stonehenge leaving no stone unturned (LOL). It was to the point and so educational. It held the attention of our whole family and kids ages 20-17-14-12 years old. We even had photos throughout books that we would reference while he explained what we were about to see. I had used the audio guides on a previous Stonehenge trip on my own. Jay’s review of Stonehenge was so much better. When we got to the site, we didn’t even need any audio guides and just took in the moments. We had heard and learned everything we needed in advance with our driver in route! Our tour originally included Avebury, Woodhenge etc. But while in route we discussed the itinerary and asked for alternative suggestions as Stonehenge was our main goal to see. He offered 3 excellent choices, and we chose Windsor Castle after a few family votes. Jay even made reservations for us at an amazing restaurant in the town of Windsor… Browns…. And it did not disappoint. The castle was great (we were able to secure tickets in route which was fortunate). We even had a rare opportunity to enter the church since it was scheduled to be closed on Sunday. The day was incredible. We completed the tour at our airport hotel near Gatwick. This guide and company were willing to customize our experience for our desires. We did agree in advance while booking the tour ahead of our trip to pay slightly extra due to the new route, time involved and extra fuel required. It wasn’t a lot more. Jay knew where to park, how to fast track our entries, and clearly had that “private tour guide expert insider knowledge” that made this tour a VIP experience. I would definitely recommend this guide/driver and company and hope that this review helps. It’s always a bit of a guess and hope that it all works out when booking tours remotely. Will they show up? Will it be worth it? The answers for us was YES! I will also mention that while we were in the Stonehenge inside exhibit…a Stonehenge staff member whispered to me “you got a good one!” We did notice that Jay seemed well known and respected by the staff at the Stonehenge site. Other tourists even leaned in to take a listen of the expert knowledge he was sharing with us.

My wife & I were visiting London from the USA and wanted to see Stonehenge. We booked a tour with Kingdom Private Tours. Douglas was our tour guide and did a wonderful job. He was punctual, informative, & engaging.Highly recommended.

Our driver Moe was a very respectable and funny man who taught us and showed us a lot about Stonehenge, the Roman Baths, and the Windsor Castle. If I was asked to do this trip again I would most definitely do it in a heartbeat. I cannot stress enough how amazing our driver was, highly recommend booking Moe.

What an awesome tour! Douglas in particular was so enthusiastic, knowledgeable, patient, and entertaining. I left with a completely different and informed understanding of these monolithic treasures!

Nik was an excellent guide and made the visits to these 3 locations quite interesting! He got to know each member of our group without being intrusive. As a result he could tailor his comments to our particular interests. And his knowledge of the period history was quite valuable especially important at Woodhenge and Avebury — the latter our group’s favorite. Particularly nice to have a private driver with hotel pick-up.

Our guide Nik was phenomenal! We’ve had several guides in the last few years and he was the most enjoyable by far. He was informative with a great sense of humor. He took extra care to see that our wants and needs were satisfied. We would absolutely encourage anyone who is looking to book a tour to book with Nik. I wish I could leave more than 5 stars for our experience. Our tour guide, Adge, was hands down the best tour guide we’ve ever had and we have taken tours around the world. He made our tour not only unique and personalized to our interests but was a wealth of knowledge regarding every stop we made. He accompanied us along the sites and explained exactly what we were seeing and why it was important. We had seen Stonehenge twice before but learned so much on this trip because of Adge. Rarely does a tour guide overshadow the tour itself but his charm and personality rivaled the sites we saw, which were quite incredible themselves. Can’t recommend the private tour experience enough as you do have a bit more flexibility and can see these wondrous attractions in much more detail. Very highly recommend.

Our whole family had an amazing time with Peter visiting Stonehenge and Lacock village. He was so informative and most importantly, fun!!! Our teenagers loved hanging out with him and can’t wait to do another tour with him! Highly recommend this your and Peter.

This tour was so much fun. We visited all three sites with our tour guide Nik. It was the highlight of my trip to England.

Booked a private tour to Stonehenge, Salisbury and Avebury. Charles was very professional and answered all of my questions while I was booking. He suggested contacting English Heritage to get our tickets into the stones - which I did as a surprise to my wife and son. Our driver, Lynton, was actually early to pick us up and we got down to the Stonehenge area a little early so Lynton took us to Woodhenge first so we could get a better appreciation of Stonehenge and its place in the entire landscape. Lynton was absolutely fabulous and answered all of our questions and was very patient with our 10 year old son. He had set up a reservation for breakfast in Salisbury and then took us to the Cathedral and walked us through while explaining everything we were seeing. He then took us to Avebury and let us explore on our own and take many photographs. Would 100% recommend this tour and tour operator to anyone who is looking at doing something a little different. Thank you so much to Lynton for such a wonderful tour and to Charles for helping me set all of this up.

<p>This was a great trip and our driver Neil threw in a bunch of extra detours! I originally booked the trip for 6 people and two dropped out it was a good thing because cramming 6 people into that car would've been miserable. When you have 6 people vehicle needs to be a mini-van!!!!</p>

<p>We had a fantastic experience. Our guide was deeply knowledgable about the history of each of the sites and was clear to separate what we known vs. what was theorized about the history and usage of these sites. While Stonehenge gets all of the glamor, missing Avebury circle or woodhenge would be mistakes. Why? Because woodhenge provides context for stonehenge, the two are a pair and Avebury circle isn't overwhelmed with tourists so you can come up close to the stones and get a deeper appreciation for the capabilities of the societies that built these temples.</p>

this tour has more than met our expectations, Nick is an excellent guide, very competent, with an incredible knowledge and the wonderful British humor. We learned a lot and laughed. We understood his good English without any problems. The day will live long in our memory. A huge thank you
