Private Guided Tour Of Natural History Museum - Skip The Line

This was our first trip to the Natural Science museum, and apparently this is the busiest time of the year. This made our decision to engage a “skip the line experience” even more important. Otherwise I could see our family of 6, including a curious 5 year old, getting scattered among the thousands of our fellow patrons. Our meet up was complicated by our lack of familiarity with the area as well as the throngs of visitors even outside the facility. Stephania was patient with, and expert at, shepherding us through the masses of people, keeping us together, and finding a corner at each stop to gather us so we could hear her commentary. She made a special effort to have my grand daughter experience all the available hands-on and interactive areas during our tour. The dinosaurs were everyone’s favorites and we will definitely visit them again when we return to London.

We were in terrific hands with Damiano!! From the beginning he gave us excellent communication about our upcoming tour. During the tour, we were amazed with his mastery of detail about natural history, and he fully entertained and educated all of us throughout. Highly recommend!

First, I’d never return to that museum on a weekend. Capacity should be capped at about 75% of what was there. The guide was nice, but the tour content was remedial. People nowadays get that birds are dinosaurs, let’s move on.

Damiano made this a very fun experience for not only my teenage daughter, but also for us! He tailored the tour a bit more to us with medical trivia since we work in medicine, and both my husband and I were pleasantly surprised to be leaving learning new facts about pelvic bones and how they are shaped in the different groups of dinosaurs. He didn't just teach - he would quiz along the way and keep us engaged and helped with retention of information! Really enjoyed his tour and would highly recommend if you really want to learn! He was kind and engaging and so much appreciated!

Stephanie was so knowledgeable and helpful guiding us around the museum. We were able to choose which exhibits we wanted to see and if we had a special request she accommodated us.

Very well presented to both a very young and older children. We went as a two families, 4 adults, and children aged 17, 16, 16, 13 and 4.

We had a great time with Damiano as our tour guide! He put in a lot of effort and clearly had extensive knowledge of the exhibits, which made for an informative experience. Our three teenage kids learned something new and agreed that having a guide was worth it, especially with so much to see. Overall, we really enjoyed the tour and appreciated Damiano’s enthusiasm and expertise!

With limited time in London, we were skeptical about spending time on this tour. Damiano created a fantastically interesting tour for both adults and kids alike. The kids were engaged throughout and we could skip the queue, which was a huge bonus. The perfect length and content as well. Thank you so much Damiano.

We have never visited the Natural History Museum before and this is was our first visit. There is so much information about the volcanos and Dinosaurs we never knew before. Our tour guide was very kind and has a lot of information and we felt taking a class with him in a tour through the museum. I highly recommend visiting this Museum and especially if you get the chance to be guided by our guide Mr. Damiano.

Our guide was Damiano. He gave us clear instructions on where and when to meet the day before the tour and arrived on-time. He greeted us very nicely and was very attentive. We have two younger children and he was very patient with them and made the whole visit very fun. The tour was awesome and he took us to the main exhibits and was able to provide a lot of detailed explanations and answer our questions. He seemed very knowledgeable from explaining on how to recognize the two families of dinosaurs, discovering the types of volcanoes and explaining about earthquakes or just simply the history of the museum itself. The whole family had a great time and experience!

Damiano was an outstanding guide. The museum was crowded, but he was able to show us the most important exhibits and explain them in a way that was both interesting and entertaining. We learned much more than we would have, if we had walked through on our own!

Damiano is an excellent guide. He did a very interesting excursion around the National History museum. We asked Damiano to adapt the tour to our children and he managed to do that professionally - children laughed, listened to his stories carefully and recollected the tour all evening. Damiano’s knowledge and enthusiasm was vast as it was infectious. Leading us around the grand museum and making sure we didn’t miss anything of importance (even the sequoia on the top of the staircase) we were left with a better understanding of this iconic museum. My 5 year old nephew was enthralled with his explanations and so were we.

We went on this tour in London with our kids and it was a fantastic experience! What about ... Damiano is topppppp , The perfect organization, he is engaging and the contents designed for even the little ones made the visit fun and instructive at the same time. The kids had so much fun that, after a couple of days of visiting the BRitish Museum with him, they immediately asked us to book another one... and in fact we did it within a few days! An activity that manages to conquer young and old, really recommended for those visiting London with the family. Last thing... Prices are more than affordable.
