The tour was excellent and Zaf was very accommodating and ready to change things as we needed to. He took us to 2 quaint towns in Cotswold which we enjoyed tremendously and gave us all the information we needed to make our adventure as fulfilling as possible, He was an excellent giide

Stonehenge the most famous prehistoric monument in the world and a World Heritage site dated back to nearly 5,000 years ago. This monument has remained a mystery since its construction thousands of years ago.To this day we are not sure how Stonehenge was built or what it was used for. It could be a temple of the Druids of Celtic religion, a cemetery from the Bronze Age, an observatory of the moon or even an astronomical clock. The surrounding landscape is also fascinating. It contains huge prehistoric monuments, stretching over several kilometres like the Avenue and the Cursus, massive earthwork enclosures like Durrington Walls and the North Kite, and hundreds of burial mounds.
Here you will be able to see the Roman Baths with their natural hot springs, the Pump House, Abbey, Royal Crescent, The Circus and beautiful Pulteney Bridge. Today Bath is a thriving city, and a haven for shoppers, with shops ranging from Antique shops to designer shops. Bath is a town set in the rolling countryside of southwest England, known for its natural hot springs and 18th-century Georgian architecture. Honey-coloured Bath stone has been used extensively in the town’s architecture, including at Bath Abbey, noted for its fan-vaulting, tower and large stained-glass windows. The museum at the site of the original Roman-era Baths includes The Great Bath, statues and a temple. We always plot the best route to maximize your time at each sightseeing spot you choose. We’ll add some little-known landmarks and local secrets that take you off the beaten track to charm and amuse.
Castle Combe, often regarded as the prettiest village in England, is a beautifully preserved gem nestled in the Wiltshire Cotswolds. With its honey-colored stone cottages, winding lanes, and a picturesque stone bridge over the Bybrook River, it feels like stepping into a living postcard. The village is blissfully free from modern distractions—no streetlights, overhead cables, or flashy signs—preserving its timeless, storybook charm. Highlights include the 13th-century St. Andrew’s Church, home to one of the oldest working clocks in England, and the medieval Market Cross in the heart of the village. Its unspoiled beauty has made it a favourite filming location, appearing in War Horse, Stardust, and Doctor Dolittle. Visitors can enjoy peaceful countryside walks, soak in the history, browse charming local shops, and savour a traditional pub lunch at The Castle Inn or elegant afternoon tea at The Manor House Hotel.

Great day trip from London, Bath, Stonehenge and Cotswalds. Private with excellent driver and guide.
We had a wonderful day with Zaf. He picked us up in a spacious and clean van. As you travel to the various sights, he tells you the history and information about each. Then when you arrive, he allows you time to explore on your own. We were given ample time at each location. We chose to eat at the cafe at Stonehenge to allow us more time to explore Bath. If you have a sit down meal in Bath plus view the Roman baths, you will have limited time to explore the town. We did not view the Roman baths and have no regrets, though others may want to do this. We recommend this experience! Oh… and use travel sickness medication if needed as the roads will become winding. Overall, a great day!
Our driver Patrick was so patient and knew exactly where to show us to get out and look around how to collect us when we were done. He gave background information but gave us time to relax as well. He was fantastic!
We are very thankful to our guide Zaf! He was on time, had interesting stories and facts about all our destinations which were Stonehenge, Bath and Castle Combe. This great experience with our family would not have been possible without Zaf's punctuality, great humor, and his attention to recomendations to make our trip truly full! I can only recommend everyone to take the tour :)
This is essentially hiring a private driver for the day and not necessarily a tour. The car was very clean and the driver was safe. He did provide a few facts but mostly just drove between the three locations. This made sense for us with young kids and grandparents but we got more “Tour” information from our taxis to and from the airport.
We loved this day and definitely convenient to book your timeslot as recommended by viator for stonehenge and Roman Baths. Our driver did not share much information and we could not hear him at all from our seats (when he did attempt to talk about Stonehenge). Some of the other tours offer discuss the vast wealth of knowledge of drivers...this was not our case. Also I was hoping to see lots of the Cotsolds. We just went to Castle Combe, not one of the villages where there is much walking around. If you are wanting to tour around the Cotswolds this is not the tour. In Bath be sure to walk around the town. Our guide recommended a restaurant right outside where he dropped us, we didn't realize there were roads and roads of boutiques until it was time to leave. Dive in to the town it is great and we missed this opportunity thinking we had to eat right by the Roman Baths, tour and hop back in. Our driver was very safe and timely.
Fantastic day trip to Stonehenge, Bath and Castle Combe. Our guide, Tarik, was excellent. Super nice guy and informed and thoughtful. Great to chat with him and learn all manner of things about England. He was knowledgeable on history and current eff be events and more. Plus, he is a safe driver and a great car to motor you around in to the various spots. Highly (HIGHLY) recommend Tarik as a guide and also this itinerary. Five stars!!!!
Thanks to our tourguide, Tanvir, we had an incredible adventure at Stonehenge, Bath, & Cotswolds . He made every part of this private tour exceptional. Stonehenge was amazing to see while Bath was an architectural wonder.
The village of Cotswold and Lacock are so beautiful!! A lot of places were closed for Boxing Day but it was definitely still worth it for a glimpse of the beautiful London country side. We got some great pics. Saad was our driver and he was very flexible and an excellent driver.
Tarik was the best …. So attentive and informative….. I highly recommend booking with this company. Extremely reliable
A lovely day away from the city! Beautiful, quaint, ancient towns. Stonehenge was incredible! Thank you Tarik for the wonderful day.
Don’t eat breakfast and lunch because you are not left with enough time for exploring in some locations. The places we went were magnificent and you want time to explore.
What a great tour! Stonehenge and Cotswolds were fabulous. Tarik our driver was fantastic. Knowledgeable, professional, friendly and just a pleasure to spend the day with! The only negative was the price of admission into Stonehenge and the baths. I feel they should have been included. But a great trip! Definitely recommend!
We decided to do a private tour to get away from a big bus tour. Overall, the trip was fine and we had a good day. It wasn’t 5 star for a couple of reasons. We could not hear and could not understand the driver. We were hoping for some points of interest and historical information along the way. The driver was in front with a plexiglass window between us so his voice was muffled and hard to hear when he did talk to us. Additionally, his accent also made it hard to understand him. The car had a seating orientation facing each other. There were four of us, so two people had to face backwards all day. That is difficult for some people who are prone to carsickness and it is hard to keep craning your neck around to see the sights. That sort of seating orientation may be better for a shorter trip.
2 stars because the places we visited were fabulous. But, calling this a tour is really false advertising. It should be considered more of a destination drop off. While our driver was pleasant, he had no information about the places we were visiting. For the price we paid we had expected an actual tour guide who would be able to give us some background information about what we were seeing and where we were going. It was very disappointing to realize that there would be no information at all. We were also concerned that the driver was watching videos and scrolling on his phone (mostly hands free) while driving. We did enjoy Stonehenge, Bath and Castle Combe but felt like we had to figure too many things out on our own.
Tarik was a great guide and very knowledgeable about the history of all the places we went to see. He offered us great details about each site before we arrived which helped us appreciate the tours. He is great at navigating all the roads, very glad we did not opt to drive ourselves! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
We had a great experience and day. We didn’t have a lot of time to loiter around but it is a lot to fit into a day trip and well worth it. Our driver, Zaf, was personable and knowledgeable and accommodating. He gave us a lot of great information and suggestions. Enjoyable day and highly recommend it. Definitely pay to visit the baths!
Our tour with Tanvir was absolutely fantastic! He arrived right on time and stayed in great communication with us throughout the day. As we drove, he shared so much knowledge about the places we were passing and even went above and beyond by showing us additional spots—both ones he recommended and ones we requested. The Tesla was the perfect car for our group of three: spacious, extremely comfortable, and the extended moon roof gave us incredible views we never would’ve had otherwise. We felt relaxed the entire ride (we even dozed off for a bit!) and Tanvir made sure everything was smooth and enjoyable. He also recommended a wonderful place for lunch, which was a highlight in itself. On top of being knowledgeable and accommodating, Tanvir is funny, personable, and a true pleasure to spend the day with. This was a 10/10 experience—we highly recommend Tanvir and would absolutely book with him again!
Full day road trip from London. We did not feel rushed, and had plenty of time at Stonehenge, Bath and Castle Coombe. Our driver was knowledgeable and a good conversationalist.
Absolutely incredible day! Stonehenge early was such a treat to beat the crowds on a Sunday! We enjoyed the drive and beautiful towns too! Tarik was amazing and so knowledgeable about the history of the area.
This was a good experience! I knew I'd get tired of bus tours on our British Isles Cruise so for our London tours, I booked a private car for Mom and I. While the driver is not a tour guide, he had a lot of information to share about the places we went. He was kind and thoughtful about stops we may need, etc. He didn't tour Stonehenge, Bath, or Lacock (the Cotswolds village where we had lunch), we were clear on timelines and meeting places and he was always punctual. We knew booking this version, e.g., not touring the Roman Baths in Bath, that we'd only have 1 to 2 hours in each spot but that was fine - we were able to see plenty in each of the three locations. The vehicle was comfortable and having a quiet ride back to London was nice as it was a long day!
The experience didn't happen. My grandson woke up with 102 degree fever. I contacted our driver immediately before 6:00am and before he left his house to pick us up. He was very rude, lacked any understanding and suggested I leave my sick 9 year old grandson alone in the hotel all day. We asked to re-schedule and were told it was possible but at an additional 500 pounds and with the same driver. That would have been real comfortable on a 10 hour tour. I know there was a 24 hour cancellation requirement, but the lack of understanding and willingness to work with us, both from the tour operator and Viator has left us hesitant to recommend either service. We will not use either again moving forward.
We had a wonderful day with Zaf exploring Stonehenge, Bath, and Castle Comb village. He was a terrific driver and gave us amazing information about each place throughout the day. We were able to see a lot of sites in one day and make it back in time for a yummy London dinner. Would recommend!
Bath was a really cute city. The Baths were cooler than we expected. The van was very comfortable. They told me exactly what time to book the activities and made it easy. We had a great experience.
What a memorable day! Everything went smoothly, and our guide/driver was very kind and informative. I had no idea how beautiful Bath would be. I highly recommend this tour. Seeing tour groups of 50 people at Stonehenge made me so happy we could go at our own pace with a private tour.
It’s a full day. Cotswolds were lovely. Our lunch spot was very good. Nice to see the countryside after being in the city.
Don’t expect to get any educational information about the landmarks you are driving to, they just drive you and drop you at locations. Completely wasted 1/2 a day wish I have never booked with this company. I specifically advised that I have 3 small children that need bathroom breaks. And was told this wouldn’t be a problem. We ended the tour 3 hours early because we couldn’t deal with the tour anymore, basically sat in a car for 7 hours.
Tarik was fantastic. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Great ideas to customize my trip, and great music and conversation!
Zaf was prompt, friendly and courteous. He pointed out various sights along the way, and gave us plenty of time in Stonehenge, Lacock and Bath. The George Inn for lunch was delicious and a truly authentic traditional English pub. While there was a lot of drving, the ride was smooth and Zaf made sure we were comfortabl. He planned stops when needed. This tour was definitely worth the cost.
Booking was a bit difficult. It took forever to get the booker to agree to what we wanted and a day in between each communication. Once we got to the tour, Zaf our driver and guide made the day absolutely incredible. He was lovely giving us options, history, stopping when we needed/wanted. He made the day delightful enjoyable!
A great experience with Zaf, especially in light of the patience he had with my sister who was not feeling well during the trip. If you want to make a day trip out of London, this is the way to do it.
A perfect day trip itinerary around London! Special mention to our driver and host, Tanvir, who went above and beyond to make our trip special. Would highly recommend!!
Great tour. Our driver Mr.Tanvir was very kind, informative and easy to talk with. He even tour us to other places nearby since we have an excess time to spend.. I highly recommend this tour.
We had a wonderful day visiting Bath and Lacock. The Roman Baths were fascinating, the Christmas markets and carol singers beside the Abbey were fabulous and the trip to Lacock and surrounds was very worthwhile. Our driver was lovely and very accommodating. I’d recommend this day trip from London if you’re on a tight schedule.
Zag is great! Made the best of the flooding we experienced that day. Kind, helpful and prompt. Thanks for a great day!
Had a great experience with Zaf as our tour guide. Very informative about the sights and kept us on schedule. Our toddler got car sick along the way and he was very understanding and was equipped for cleanup instantly
We loved seeing the countryside and having a private driver. The day was amazing and the driver accommodated our requests perfectly!
Tariq led us on a full day of exploring Stonehenge and Bath, and two added spots as well. Very professional, and we had a phenomenal day. We highly recommend this experience.
We booked the private day tour to see Stonehenge, Bath and Cotswolds. We were picked up promptly by Tanvir and were delighted to ride in his pristine Tesla with full glass roof view which really added to the experience of being able to see more on the tour. Tanvir was an excellent driver and guide and kept us on schedule to accomplish seeing all the sights on our agenda. Tanvir shared insights about the sights and areas we were passing through. He was kind and attentive stopping for rest breaks and coffee as needed. At the end of our day Tanvir dropped us off at a pub for our dinner reservations and this helped us make it on time and end our day perfectly. I highly recommend Tanvir as a driver/guide and his beautiful Tesla automobile. Thank you Tanvir :)
Get to Stonehenge early. Pay to go inside the Roman Baths in Bath. So much history. Our driver was very friendly, accommodating and informative.
We had a very good day. The weather was very comfortable and we had 3 very different experiences. Stonehenge was interesting and revealing, Cotswell was charming and we had a very nice lunch. Finally Bath was very interesting and historically informative. Our driver Patrick was great. We enjoyed the day.
Driver had no knowledge of sites or area Not at all what we expected or paid for. Upon complaint no action from Viator
Zaf was great, reliable and friendly! Right on time with plenty of time at each stop. Great for me and my kids ages 13, 18, and 21. Comfortable, restful and fun! He had interesting facts to share!
We had Tanvir driving us for the day and were very happy with the experience. Clean comfortable car, safe driving, he customized the trip a bit to add little sites and quick stops when we had time. He was attentive to our family. Good experience.
We had a wonderful day with Zaf yesterday and can’t stop talking about how much we enjoyed every minute! Thank you Zaf and Viator!
We were a party of six. Our driver picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel in West London. Some passengers are rear facing and became motion sick. Almost 6/11 hours of the trip is driving to Stonehenge, then Cotswolds, then Bath, then returning to London. Hard to fit Windsor Castle in the day without skipping Cotswolds or Bath. Logistics aside, Stonehenge and Bath were both incredible! Lacock in/near Cotswolds was quaint. Overall, a lovely day trip while staying in London.
Excellent service. Friendly & accommodating. We’d taken the train a few places & this was MUCH easier. It allowed us to see more & maximize our time. Safe driver, clean car.
Zep, our driver did an excellent job! He allowed us to customize our trip and we felt very safe. I would recommend it.
Patrick was amazing! Very knowledgeable, great personality, we highly recommend requesting him personally. Windsor castle is a must see
