Paul was fantastic. We made last minute change from the public tour to the private tour due to some mobility limitations in our group. Paul was mindful of the speed with which we were able to keep up with and still made sure we saw everything there was to see. He was very knowledgeable about everything we saw and then some. Highly recommend!

Lee was great! Very knowledgeable and fun guide to have!
What an amazing tour with Marnie. I am so sorry it took me so long to rate and review this incredible experience with Marnie. My wife and I toured the Xtra Changing of the Gaurd tour and they were practicing for the King’s birthday. We saw the most incredible sight and Marnie felt like family. She was incredibly knowledgeable and we toured at our own pace. If you want to treat yourself while in London book a tour with these people. You will experience a once in a lifetime experience that you won’t get anywhere else. Thank you Marnie you were the perfect end to a great trip.
We did the Changing of the Guard EXTRA tour with Paul last Monday. It ended up taking quite a few diversions from the "normal" tour as President Biden was in town and ended up "parading" in his car up the Mall that same morning. Paul still went out of his way to make sure we had a great tour! We enjoyed marching along with the band and guards, got great pics at Buckingham palace; stopped along St James's Palace and the Park as well. We were very pleased with our time with Fun london Tours. Excellent guide!
Matt was excellent on knowledge and the best spot to view the changing of the guard on horses. We did not have long wait times.
Excellent experience. Matt was an excellent guide and so informative. He answered all of our questions and explained everything in such detail. Highly recommend to anyone planning a visit to London.
What a phenomenal tour we had, thanks to Pepe!!! His incredible knowledge was delivered in a totally fun way! It was the first tour of our 8-day stay in London; what a great way to start! When we come back to this wonderful city, we will use Fun London again and request Pepe!
We loved the Changing of the Guard extra tour with Joe! He was witty and very informative, covering many subjects and stories about the various locations and historical figures. We had excellent views of the Horse Guards and the Irish Guard and band.
I got to see so much that I didn’t even expect and it was well worth every penny. We got to see so much and the walk was easy
We had Rosie as a tour guide and she was an absolute blast. It was such an enjoyable morning and we loved every minute. We learnt an amazing amount in such a short time. It was a beautiful walk.
Fun and informative, Pepe was an excellent story teller and made sure we got to all the right places on time to see the ceremonies and take photos etc.
Fabulous tour and our guide, Rachel, could not have been better. Highly recommend this as a must-do in London. Rachel entertained and shared colorful history and details that kept our family of 4 engaged the entire time.
Despite the rain, Rachel took us on a brilliant tour where we saw the changing of the mounted guards. She was fun, enthusiastic and knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed the potted history of each site. Highly recommended!
An absolutely impeccable walking tour that I’d say is a must if you’re visiting London. Matt lead us on a 2 hour walking tour (Changing the Guard Extra) and got us to all the right places at the right times to ensure we got to see everything. It was very exciting to see all of the regiments both marching and horse guards and Matt was full of knowledge and facts. The pace was great and the route was all flat. I cannot recommend this walking tour enough, with over 12 years experience, you’re in knowledgable hands with Matt. Thank you for a great experience, Sophie & Tara :)
We very much liked that we were in time for all the photo moments and our guide Rachel took us to all the perfect places. it was a great morning and I can recommend it to everyone who wants to look at the "changing the guard" event.
Our tour guide was Rosie, she was knowledgeable humorous and thankfully not lecturing or opinionated. It was a pleasure being in her company.
Our guide Jess was amazing. He told us all kinds of history as we walked through London. We were right up close for the changing of the horse guard. It was great fun!
Absolutely fabulous tour and it was one of the highlights of our London vacation this summer! Thnak you!
We have seen the Changing of the Guards before but, this was seeing the Guards, hearing the stories of each group. Yes, there are four groups at each change. The On-Coming and Off-Going from two different groups. Scott's stories of all the other things we passed along the way were bonuses! Plus, advice and personal adecdotes! Terrific job Scott!
Even in the rain Matt made it fun and enjoyable. He has great knowledge of local history. I highly recommend this tour.
Our guide was interested in finding out what we wanted to know then shoed us those things as well as told us stories and facts that kept us wanting more. He also kept a good schedule ,getting us the best views at the best times
I’m so glad I did this tour on my first day in London and so glad I was lucky enough to be in Team Amber! It was educational as Amber showed us many little scars of London plus an interactive lesson on the Royal Family, she made it very fun for everyone. Then when it was time to see the guards changing she put us in the perfect positions to see everything as well as explaining everything that was going on. I recommend watching the march with your eyes rather than through your camera because you can see many videos online. Thanks heaps Amber!
We did this tour on April 24 with Matt as our guide. He was so informative and knowledgable. We were able to get pics of Prince Louie's birth announcement in front of Buckingham Palace because Matt's extreme skill in working the lines. We had an amazing view of the changing of the horse guards, up close and personal. Almost got bit by a horse! He kept us moving so that we all got good pics and even took pictures for us. I was a straggler because it was my first trip to London and I was absorbed with everything along the Mall. Matt was patient, kind and made sure we were able to see everything he wanted us to see without pressuring me to walk faster. He is an extremely kind, thoughtful and perfect guide. Cannot recommend this tour enough. You just have to take it for yourself.
We did the tour with Matt. He is very knowledgeable, he had some interesting facts to share and enthusiastically answered our questions. There happened to be an unexpected event on the day of our tour which kept us from seeing the changing of the horse guards, Matt accommodated by extending the tour.
We did this tour on May 1st 2018 with Mat as our tour guide. It was fun and informative and he gave us a wonderful view of the changing of the horse guards, up close and no huge crowds. We are a couple in our late 60's and we had no trouble keeping up with the pace. Highly recommend
This tour looked like a great way to see and learn about the royal residences (Buckingham Palace, Clarence House, and St. James and Kensington Palace), and it was, but the highlight was definitely the changing of the horse guards. Matt, who was an excellent and informative tour guide, met us in Green Park and, because it was a somewhat rainy day in March, we were lucky enough to receive a private tour! It was interesting to hear about each of the residences as well as about the shops and clubs that surround and cater to the rich and famous. We were pleasantly surprised that it was more than the traditional change of the horse guard, as there was an entire mounted band accompanying the incoming guard. Plenty of pomp and beautiful horses - although I seldom book guided tours, this one is a must!
We had a lovely tour with Matt (owner) for the changing of the royal horse guard and we did the Secret London Tour earlier in the week. We enjoyed both experiences and would highly recommend. London has so much to see and do and the Fun London Tour guides are a great source of information.
Began the tour in Green Park and stopped to view Buckingham Palace, Clarence House and St James Palace. Walked down The Mall to Horse Guards Parade and learnt many interesting facts from Matt along the way. Great position to view the Changing of the Guard - got to see everything up close. Highly recommend!
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING !!! By far the highlight of our trip to London First up we had a little walking tour to the Guards Museum where we were front row position to see the change of the Horse guards which was very special to witness. The horses are spectacular. So majestic! Then we relocated to St James palace to watch the change of guards there where we were in for a treat. Also in todays ceremony were the pipes and drums with Irish Guards. Only done 4 times a year We marched with the procession alongside the guards up the Mall to Wellington Barracks for another change of guards and more pipes and drums and then we all marched to Buckingham Palace The tour guide knew EXACTLY where to put us for best positioning and photo opportunities We had a Great tour guide (Jess) and found the tour very informative and an easy pace This is a MUST do ! You wont have any regrets TIP : I think this combined tour is only available on a Sunday Morning
From the moment of booking this tour, Fun London Tours were great to deal with. I received my voucher with detailed instructions on where to meet the tour guide and on the day our guide, Jess, met us on time as per instructions. He was very knowledgeable, interesting to chat to, and knew the best places to stand when waiting for the new and old Horse Guards to arrive. He then took us on a walk to see Clarence House and St James Palace before arriving at Buckingham Palace in time to see the returning Horse Guards. Thanks Jess for a great tour, we couldn't have done this on our own.

Beautiful and not over crowded, our guide, Kevin was knowledge and entertaining. Definitely recommend this tour.

Our guide, Phil, was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining throughout the entire tour. His detailed narrative about the history of the palaces and monuments kept us engrossed. And, he was able to get us in place to see the changing of the Queen's horse guard ceremony which was fantastic! He also gave us a great recommendation for a fish and chips restaurant near our hotel. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone.
