My family and I took the Touch Down London Taxi Tour from Heathrow airport last week as part of our vacation. Our driver was Danny and he did an outstanding job picking us up at the airport (even giving us water bottles) and showing us around London. He even geared parts of the tour to our personal interests. This was a perfect way to begin our vacation! I can't think of anything that needed to be done differently. Wholeheartedly recommend this tour and Danny!

Our tour was with JP. He was awesome. Had every fact and all the information you can imagine plus a lot of humor thrown in. It was a great day to see London with someone that really knew how to get around and the important sites. He even did a great job with premium picture taking and even took his own pictures that he forwarded to us. Wow, thanks JP. This was awesome. You were absolutely the best.!!!

We had such a memorable time and got so much out of our afternoon. Our guide showed us not only the must-see sights but provided so much history and even pointed out some rare things not included in a regular tour. He was very knowledgeable and personable and really gave us an exceptional experience. a wonderful way start of any london holiday!!

Simon was an amazing guide! Our party of 6 got a personalized tour of all the major sights of London, with the opportunity to step out of the taxi and get some amazing pictures. We learned so much about London and would recommend this tour as a must do, especially as an overview of the city if you are here for a short time or as an introduction to decide where you might want to go back and visit.

What an incredible morning with Dave. Fun and informative for our friends first visit to London and new sights and facts for those of us that have been to London many times. Four hour tour was well planned out and we got to see all the big London sights plus a few hidden gems.

He asked us about our hobbies and personal interests and made an effort to make it interesting for all of us. He had some wonderful stories and was very engaging. Absolutely amazing! Money well spent on our three person party on the first full day in London. Taxi was spacious and had a glass top roof. Our driver-tour guide, Danny, was fantastic. He brought us to every major attraction and more. His knowledge of the city, historical facts and attractions was unbeatable. He even took group photos for us and took us to locations that provided better photos, which we never would have known about. Great experience all around! Our driver John Root was a terrific guide! He has extensive historical knowledge of the city, and he made sure that we saw many of the most interesting sites before he ended our tour. And he was a very patient and expert photographer for my wife & I using our iPhones! You will have a great experience with John!

An amazing experience that I was quite sceptical about at first. What can a taxi deriver show us in London that we dont know. WOW, what a surprise, Simon was amiable, personable and actually funny. He showed us areas that we would never have seen and in such a short time. He took photos of us with his phone and sent them to us, he told us stories (unscripted) and was really interesting and it was nice to have a taxi waiting for us all the time. It certainly made us feel very special.

What a great tour in an iconic Black Taxi of the Christmas lights and hidden gems of London. Simon, our tour guides, was great fun. His knowledge is amazing, and he took me and my family to some of the highlights of London, and even took some photos of our group. Totally recommend getting on of these taxi tours.

Dave is a walking encyclopedia about London. He was full of enthusiasm as he took us on a tour about Roman London. While showing us many venues he also filled in our lack of history to help with our understanding how things linked up through many historical eras. Dave is also full of incidental bits of information about London and willingly shared his maps with us so we could continue our journey of discovery long after the taxi tour had finished. We will have another tour on our next visit to London but arrange it for the beginning of our visit so we will have more time to discover Londons secrets. We can't recommend Dave's tours enough because they were so interesting and entertaining and very good value for money.

With eight family members travelling together (including two eight year olds), and not very much time, we searched for a way to see the sights while having a real London experience. Our solution was the Big Sights Taxi Tour, which let us divide up into two traditional London cabs, driven by Dave and Martin, to see the best of London. They were both terrific, providing interesting history and stories about the city as we drove from one landmark to another. Shakespeare's Globe Theater, the Millenium Bridge, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, St Paul's cathedral, Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, we were able to fit all of this and more into a half day tour. We were even able to see the changing of the Horse Guards, and the smallest square in London! And we are still not sure how Dave and Martin were able to keep both taxis together through all of the traffic in London, but they did, giving us a wonderful family experience, very much tailored to what we were hoping to see. Highly recommended!

I booked this tour for some Argentinian friends with only a short time in London . It was organised through Mark who arranged Simon as their Cab driver. They had an amazing time, Simon with his incredible knowledge of London managed to fit in a visit to see many major attractions. His sense of humour made the whole experience fun . A very happy and enjoyable way to see London , especially if you’re stay is short.

Our driver Neil asked what we would love to see and he took us to those as well as Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Albert Memorial, Tower of London, John Lennon's house and Abbey Road Studios, giraffes at the London zoo as well as so many other London sights. Funny thing is we had just come from seeing cazillion giraffes while on tour in Africa. We were on a 12 hour layover so this tour fit the bit to a T. We were able to get out of the cab at many places and check out some of the sights more closely and take photos. Luckily the weather was in our favour and reminded us of home. I have many relatives still living in England and our parents all came from England so it was nice to see places that they had talked about. I highly recommend this tour as it was a highlight of our trip while in Europe.

Neil our driver was excellent. Collected us and returned us to our home. We had visiting family who had never been to London before, this trip included all of the highlights. Panoramic roof. Great commentary. Weather was miserable so we stayed in the cab most of the time. Also as my husband cannot walk he was able to stay in the cab while some of us popped out. It was a memorable day. I have been flying to London since my university days, and this visit was one of my best ones as I used the London city taxi tours company with my wife and three children to explore London. It is the traditional London taxi, which is quite large, comfortable and spacious -what my son called a “sturdy beast”. It was really convenient for us to be together as a family on a private guided taxi tour of this great city. The best part was the taxi -cum-tour guide who was an encyclopaedia on British history., and had anecdotes on literally every nook and corner of London which a normal person passing by wouldn’t be aware of. He took excellent pictures very professionally for us and knew his way around the streets and alleys to avoid any traffic disruptions. We loved seeing the Buckingham palace, The Westminster Abbey, the Tower of London and St Pauls Cathedral, all covered smoothly in three hours. Truly the best three hours we spent covering so much in such little time. If you’re travelling with a group of friends or family, I believe this is one of the best ways to explore London to say the least. I highly recommend this company as it provides you quality service.
