Itinerary
An architectural masterpiece, Westminster Abbey presents a unique pageant of British history – the shrine of St Edward the confessor, the tombs of kings and queens, and countless memorials to the famous and the great. Our guide will help bring to life this remarkable building where 40 English and British coronations have taken place since 1066. You will hear about the most recent coronation of Charles III that took place on the 6th May, 2023, the marriage of William and Kate – the Prince and Princess of Wales, and also stop briefly to pay our respect and celebrate the life of the late Queen Elizabeth II whose state funeral also took place at the Abbey.
Our first experience of Westminster Abbey, one of the jewels in London’s crown and a must see for any visitor, is in the 14th century medieval under croft. Originally used by the Benedictine monks to store food and drink - the Cellarium is now a unique restaurant, and we pause here for refreshments. (Refreshments included in the price)
A short walk passing the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, enjoy the ride on the London-Eye (if upgrade option selected). Your fast-track ticket allow you to bypass the standard queue and save time during your visit. Standing at an amazing 135 metres above the centre of London, the London Eye is the world’s highest observation wheel and offers magnificent panoramic views of London. If you select London Eye option the tour ends here.

Dodo was informative, interesting and threw in some fun facts. Highly recommend, made the tour fun but highly educational at the same time.
Very historic and beautiful Abbey. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor!!
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and personable. You learn a lot more than just doing the audio tour of the abbey.
We booked the VIP tour because I have mobility issues and wouldn't be able to stand in long line ups, it was worth having, still a lot of standing, but some opportunity to sit down while the guide was talking. overall a great tour, the London Eye was another story, I didn't realize it was time stamped and only having a half hour to get from the Abby to the Eye was just not doable so we missed out... I would think the timing would be a bit better, not everyone can sprint from one location to the next....
Worth every penny! Unbelievable information with guide ZoZo
This was a great tour of Westminster Abbey! There’s so much to see- it was very helpful to have a guide showing us around and tell us the background stories.
Ben was great ! Lots of history that brought the Abbey to life ! A little Humor sprinkled in kept us laughing. Thanks Ben 😊
Our tour guide Ben was exceptional. I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Westminster Abbey.
The tour guides are exceptional! Helpful and hugely accommodating. You have a question, they’ll go out of their way to help you and give you suggestions.
Very informative guide and the tour was great. We bought the London Eye with this ticket and it got us a fast track on to the eye. Was great because the line was really long
Frank was exceptional. Very informative and engaging.
Tour guide was very knowledgeable and headsets were clear to listen to her stories. Of course, old buildings are hot in the summer. Bring a personal fan for comfort. Priority access to London Eye is a must add on. We waited about 15 min to get on in the fast track line but the regular line looked miserable in the hot sun.
We met Fran, our guide in the Westminster coffee shop for coffee and pastries before the tour began. We had a group of 11 people. Fran was engaging, polite, fun and full of information about Westminster Abbey. My girls are 16 years of age and they loved the tour, the science corner and the poets corner, it was fabulous. Would highly recommend Fran who also has Irish connections and was thrilled to chat and engage with everyone in the group. He ensured we asked questions whenever we liked and he answered them all with gusto. Great job. Thank you. Sue
Anna tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. We met for coffee/tea / pastries before the tour started. Wonderful to get preliminary info & headsets while seated. Even though it was crowded she waited for everyone in her group to catch up. Digital headsets were very clear. Since we were seniors, Mesna met us at the beginning and returned to walk us to the London Eye. She helped us get upgraded tickets for the Aquarium. She pointed out other things to do like theater etc. it was a well organized tour all around.
Frank was very thorough and kept the tour interesting and together.
We started the tour with croissants and tea. No refills on the tea and they only had 3 croissants for 6 people. It was your average croissant. No other items offered. We then proceeded to do tour Westminster Abbey. Our guide provided humor and history of the people buried in the Abbey. It was hot inside and very crowded. Many people do the walking tour and are not aware of their surroundings making it hard to follow our guide. All in all I enjoyed the tour and seeing the inside.
Peter was incredible, not only was he informative on the history of the Abbey and the people that were involved with the Abbey, but he was very humorous.
The tour was well paced and Frank was a good guide.
It was a really good tour, our guide Peter was knowledgeable, funny, and a great story teller. We got a lot more out of seeing Westminster Abbey on the tour than if we had gone on our own.
Our tour Guide was fabulous, Charlie full of facts abput West Minester Abby , highly recommend. We had a lovely time in the café prior to the tour with the most delicious pastries and tea!
Zozo was an excellent guide. The whole day was super
Excellent tour. Great information. Our guide Frank was so knowledgeable and funny. Definitely would highly recommend!!
Beware! The guide was clearly overwhelmed by crowds and lost the group at least twice. Would have been better off with a self guided tour - nothing really special here. TripAdvisor- who partners with Viator so it comes up first - did nothing to advocate. TripAdvisor/TrustPilot let the tour company decide if they did an adequate job. Talk about the fox guarding the hen house!
Cheaper to book individually and tour guide was not the most informed and overly sarcastic. Not friendly to kids either.
Very informative. Learned so much about English monarchy. Really enjoyed the history lesson So much better with a guide. Walked through on our own last time. This was a much better experience!
If you only have a limited time in London and want to see the absolute highlights without feeling stressed or rushed, book this tour immediately! Our day was packed with iconic sights, and everything was perfectly synchronized. We started with the stunning Buckingham Palace, moved on to the breathtaking architecture of St. Paul’s Cathedral, and explored the incredible history inside the Tower of London. To cap it all off, we took a relaxing cruise down the River Thames, which ended right at the foot of the London Eye—the absolute perfect way to finish a day of sightseeing. What truly made the day unforgettable, though, was our tour guide, Zozo. Zozo was energetic, incredibly knowledgeable, and kept the entire group laughing and engaged from start to finish. They gave us fascinating historical context at every stop, pointed out hidden details we never would have noticed on our own, and managed the logistics flawlessly so we never had to wait in long lines. Thank you, Zozo, for an amazing day in London! We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!
Very detailed with excellent insights. A wonderful way to learn about English history. Recommended for all who want to k ow about the history of religion in England.
Peter was absolutely wonderful. A great mixture of historical insights and friendly humor. He kept us all entertained and we left happily educated. Book him if you can.
Wintanna was terrific. On time, very helpful and personable. We would not hesitate to use this Ezywizz again.
Frank was fabulous. Great communicator, knowledgeable and funny. The tour of Westminster Abbey is a must.
Our guide Amber is a great story teller and performer. She gave us in depth history of Westminster Abbey and not a dull moment. We loved this tour.
Our tour of Westminster Abbey was brilliant! Our guide, Frank really brought the Abbey to life for us. His passion and knowledge is wonderful. Thank you!
Our guide was very knowledgeable and led us through Westminster Abbey very efficiently. We learned so much about the history of the Abbey and England in general.
Zozo was awesome guide. Highly recommend him.
Our guide was very engaging & provided a good bit of background information before we even started the tour. Her presentation style, knowledge & warm wit added a personal touch to the history & understanding of all we were seeing.
Frank was very knowledgeable and very attentive to everyone's questions. He kept us on time. We had a wonderful time.
Wonderful tour guide, very knowledgeable! Loved the small group tour size. Personal guide held my interest, much better than an audio tour would have.
Zozo was very knowledgeable and did a great job sharing all the history and small details of Westminster Abbey with us!
Frank was a wealth of knowledge that helped give us the headlights of Westminster Abbey. Thanks for a great experience!
Zozo was a great guide. He is a natural story teller that brinks the entire experience to life. There are so many things I think I would have missed if I was not in this tour. Get the behind the scenes narrative that brings the entire experience to life. And we were a few minutes late due to some transportation issues, and they worked with us to make sure we got caught up and only missed the pastries- Thank YOU for that kindness.
Great way to get an understanding of the history of the Abbey and the significance of the burials there. Loved the Waterford chandeliers and enjoyed story of Queen Mum placing her wedding bouquet on the grave of the unknown soldier. Frank was great to listen too.
Great, engaging and knowledgeable tour guide. I don't remember his name but his country of birth was Israel.
Great tour. Easy to find the meeting point. Frank our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely recommend.
We did the Westminster Abbey tour and loved every bit of it. Anamaria, our guide, was amazing - knowledgeable, engaging and fun! I love doing tours like this but often I end up being distracted, this one was amazing! The Abby is incredible, this tour is a must-do in London!
Good size group and nicely paced narrative. Just the right amount of history is presented in the context of the tout
We had a wonderful time on our tour. It was so nice to start with tea and croissants with our tour group, and get into the Abbey right away without waiting. Our tour guide, Zozo, was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable and could answer any question thrown his way. He made sure we saw all the best parts of the Abbey, navigated us through the crowds very efficiently, and was completely charming and engaging. It was such a great experience and I highly recommend it!
We really enjoyed the tour. You start with tea and croissants in the conservatory. We had a very knowledgeable tour director. Nice slow pace with lots of time to take in the amazing details of the Abbey. Arrive early and spend time in the gift dhop
This tour guide was so personable and knowledgeable. I enjoyed every minute of the tour. I have been visiting from Lo Angeles since October 16, and this is the most memorable excursion I have been on. I can’t recommend this guide enough. He is a true asset to your organization.
Frank, our guide, is very knowledgeable and did a great job. The coffee/tea service before we began the experience was pleasant. Very easy to identify our group when arriving. Pay the extra for the priority tour instead of being one of the many walking zombies with the head sets.
