It was a VED paid in advance. The experience itself is well worth it it's super fun , vibrant and friendly. The atmosphere in this area is always busy and lively and the tour guide was excellent. The area is great for shopping and brilliant for a get together with friends and family. Just a lovely environment with lots of good feeling and lovely people.
Ben was a fantastic guide! The description of all the details connected to the locations of the films and the history of this wonderful area was so charming! And his way of speaking vividly kept the attention alive for all the time! Absolutely recommended!

I would recommend this walk to everyone who is a good walker and interessted in Notting Hill life and its celecrities. A busy and crowded area on saturdays.
Our guide lost us in the first 10 minutes and I had to message head office to get them to message him. He eventually shared his location with me but by that point we had already given up and were wandering around on our own. We never met up. The guide should have had an identifying flag, water bottle, sign, ANYTHING so that we’d know where he was among the throngs of people.
Jenny was waiting for us when we arrived she was pleasant and welcoming. As it was a hot day she tried to get us all into the shade where possible. She also went out of her way to ensure we were looking directly at what she was telling us about, not always does this happen. Jenny was very enthusiastic and had a lot of information to give us, however I think she had exactly the right balance. If you are interested and have a chance, what Notting hill, skyfall, Paddington Bear and love actually. All of which had scenes filled in the area. My husband and I absolutely loved it. The only thing we found a little difficult was the crowd in portabello markets, however Jenny did a good job at watching we didn’t get lost.
We decided for a guided tour as we wanted to know a bit more about Notting Hill. Great decision to join Briticontours and specially our guide JENNY. She made everything easy and she is a wonderful professional, who inspired us with all her comments and hidden gems of the area, thanks a lot JENNY!

Decided to bolt this walking tour onto a Saturday morning trip to Portobello market and it didn't disappoint. Micheal was our guide and the group was small with only 9 of us. He obviously knows the area well and was able to provide plenty of stops around the back streets pointing out the houses of a few celebrities along with some iconic filming locations. A few of the film locations were "Notting Hill" related but a few others too for varied interest.
Learning more about the different movies filmed around Notting Hill. Ben had a great grasp of the area and was very patient with a ll the participants.

Fun and casual walking tour! I highly recommend this tour. We enjoyed our afternoon stroll with our guide Russell who led us at a comfortable pace around Notting Hill. He shared his wit and wisdom of the area, pointing out numerous interesting spots. An instagram-type would love all the photo ops. This was a great way to explore a charming area and learn a bit of history and celebrity stories.

First off, a big shoutout to Catherine for not drowning us in endless dates and details. It was just the right amount of info – cool stories, fun facts, and nothing too snooze-worthy. She knows her stuff, and she’s super clear when sharing it. Now, the real game changer? That flipbook of hers. I mean, many guides either don’t bother with pics or have like two crumpled photos in a folder. But Catherine? She had this cool flipbook with movie images and stuff. We enjoyed the Notting Hill tour with our guide Catherine. It was fun to learn about the area and its contribution to the entertainment industry. I hadn't actually seen the films mentioned but the others had and enjoyed recognising places from the iconic movies. And it was fun visiting Portobello Market afterwards! Our tour with Jordan was fabulous. Really good, detailed knowledge of Notting Hill, delivered in an engaging and fun manner. Thoroughly enjoyed it and came away knowing loads about the area, including really interesting history plus great iconic film scenes (Notting Hill obvs plus Love Actually, The Italian Job and a Beatles film. Even saw a genuine Banksy. Well worth it.
