We had the tour with Melina. It was excellent tour and provided a very different perspective of London and Covent Garden. Highly recommended.

Charlotte was a fabulous guide. Her knowledge was great and she delivered it in a very entertaining way. Excellent value tour!!
I tried to do the Misfits of Covent Gardens tours with Rebel tours. I accidentally booked the wrong date with them and was not going to be able to do the tour. They were very responsive and did everything they could to adjust this for me. Through no fault of theirs they were not able to change it but they so kindly give me a partial credit and were very professional throughout. They had already booked and paid for a tour guide so this was an expense on their part. Highly recommend them for responsiveness and professionalism.
This tour gives you lots of fascinating details about colourful characters of Covent Garden and neighbouring areas. There’s a heavy emphasis on the impact of local women. We learned a lot and went into buildings and back streets that would be overlooked by many tourists. St Paul’s church (the actors church) was a real highlight. My only suggestion would be to revise the details about finding the starting point and guide which are provided on the ticket. We were instructed to look for a person holding a yellow umbrella, but in fact she only had a small yellow badge which we were lucky to spot. Evidently the umbrella only gets used in wet weather.
A fantastic walking tour in the Covent Garden area. Charlotte is an excellent and most knowledgeable guide and I can wholeheartedly recommend this tour. 10/10
Not only is Matilda an extremely knowledgeable Historian, she is a fantastic story teller! Covent Garden indeed has a colourful and multi layered past. We heard incredible accounts of Game changers, rebels and misfits changing the social landscape of the area. It was definitely a tour where you saw landmarks and heard stories you’d otherwise miss on your own. 100% recommend!!
What a lovely way to spend two hours walking around Covent Garden. Lots of very interesting places that you probably wouldn't see otherwise. Some beautiful buildings. Cecily, our tour guide was very knowledgeable with many fascinating facts and stories of past years. Would definitely recommend this tour.
Fantastic tour led by Matilda. As we were such a small group she adapted the talk to make sure that little extras were included that a midwife and a doctor would be interested in. Highly recommend. Thank you
Matilda was a fantastic tour guide. She was so knowledgeable about the area and tailored the tour to our areas of interest. We knew covent garden relatively well, but she showed us lots of fantastic places we'd never been or heard of. 100% recommend.
An excellent, fun & fascinating tour around Covent Garden with Charlotte our guide. As Brits who thought we knew the area well, Charlotte took us to several places that we didn’t know & her wealth of knowledge about the area & its history is second to none. We would highly recommend Charlotte & the Company again & plan to do their Jack-the-Ripper tour soon.
The Misfits of Covent Garden Walking Tour was fantastic and I’d highly recommend it. Our guide, Cecily, was amazing, her knowledge of history was brilliant and she kept the whole group engaged from start to finish. She had a great way of bringing the stories to life while keeping the tour fun, relaxed and really engaging. The tour takes you through parts of Covent Garden and Seven Dials that you might walk past every day without noticing, pointing out hidden spots and fascinating details along the way. What made it especially interesting was learning about some of the lesser-known historical figures and “misfits” who played important roles but aren’t often talked about. There was also a really nice mix of people on the tour… families, friends, and people attending solo, which created a great atmosphere. It felt very welcoming and showed that anyone can go along and enjoy it. You leave with loads of interesting facts and stories you’ll definitely end up sharing with friends and family later. If you’re looking for something a bit different to do in London that’s both entertaining and genuinely interesting, this walking tour is well worth it.
Very informative. Great for those looking for something different from the usual tourist cliches. Charlotte obviously had done a lot of research.
Very educational tour! Our tour guide was charlotte who was very funny, and she knows her stuff! We learned a lot about Covent Garden's history that isn't common knowledge and she even pointed out some nice spots to try after the tour. If you're looking to learn about Covent Garden's history, this is a good tour to try! Thank you!
Fun, interesting walk. Our guide was knowledgeable, fun and kept us moving along: It became very cold, windy & it grows dark early & fast in London in late November, so we didn’t waste time & dawdle.
Thank you Charlotte for a fun, and interesting afternoon learning about Covent Garden history, and its misfits. Loved your enthusiasm about the area, and all of the little historical tidbits.
Charlotte did an excellent job bringing the history of Covent Gardens to life-including all the sordid details!
Charlotte was amazing 👏!!! Great informative tour, very engaging, interesting. I would give it 10 stars if that were an option.
Charlotte was an awesome guide! She knew her misfits well. 😁 We also did the tour about the women killed by Jack the ripper and Cecily was very good too. Both highly recommended!
We stayed in Covent Garden on vacation, and Cecily’s tour was a great introduction to the neighborhood. She was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic, and we enjoyed learning about people whose legacies deserve to be remembered and celebrated.
This was an amazing tour for those interested in the less explored side of history. Charlotte taught me so much about the social history of the Covent Garden and Seven Dials areas and the lives of both quirky and ordinary people. Highly recommended for people interested in the history of people's lives.
I really enjoyed the history/stories of the people who lived in Covent Gardens. Our guide was very knowledgeable and attentive to the needs of the group. It was a great opportunity to walk through areas I probably wouldn’t go.
If you want a walking tour that's more than the usual tourist fare, *The Misfits of Covent Garden* by Rebel Tours is a must! It is an engaging and insightful tour, filled with stories you won’t hear anywhere else. Our guide, Ellie, was exceptional! Her storytelling and deep knowledge brought Covent Garden’s history to life, vividly, focusing on the rebels, artists, and visionaries who shaped the area. This tour is highly recommended!
Excellent tour of Covent Garden. We learnt a lot of its history which we hadn’t known. Our guide Charlotte was very knowledgeable and fun.
Ellie was a great guide very informative and interesting brought the information to life . She was able to answer all our questions and was obviously very interested in the subject
The stories of Nell Gwyn and Russell Street. A great way to discover Covent Garden in 2 hours. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and very respectful
The whole afternoon was a complete joy, full of interesting stories and historical facts. Our guide, Cecily was excellent.
Experience host was informative, well researched, able to bring cohesion to attendees and able to answer questions posted. The whole experience was enjoyable and would come back to Viator based on this experience
This tour is one-of-a-kind in a good way. You can't go wrong by booking it. Our guide Ellie gave us a lot of not so well-known facts that provided a deep inside of the history and former living of Covent Garden and Seven Dials. There is much more to it than just the stores and restaurants tourist normally see. Don't want to reveal details here. PLS. see for yourself. Really, it's worth it: funny, entertaining and a learning experience at the same time.
This was a fantastic, short tour of two charming neighborhoods in London, including Covant Gardens. Our tour guide was enthusiastic and provided lots of good and fun info. I have been to London a couple times now, and this tour showed me areas I had never seen before. I definitely want to go back to spend more time in these areas now. This tour picqued my interest. Highly recommend this tour!
Had some time to pass in London, so booked this as it looked a bit different to the traditional historical tours. Really recommend it. Ellie was excellent, very knowledgeable and authentic. As well as Covent Gardens, we got into the lovely St Paul's Actors Church and explored Seven Dials which I was completely unaware of. There is an additional gin element to the tour, which I didn't do. Great value and a lovely way to spend two hours.
Guide Ellie was wonderful! She brought the character and characters of this iconic neighborhood to life. Our small group throughly enjoyed our tour and you will too. Phil and Claudia
Enjoyed tour because Charlotte made it interesting and different from other standard tourist sites. History was interesting and was able to tie different sites together.
Whether you’re a history buff, a culture enthusiast, or just looking for a leisurely way to explore a new area, I highly recommend this tour. The combination of a knowledgeable guide, a well-thought-out itinerary, and charming places made it a memorable adventure.
Ellie was amazing on this walking tour of Covent Gardens. A friend said we needed ti go there and I like to learn more so booked this tour. Wow, there is so much history there in Seven Dials neighborhood especially. Loved the markets and hidden little spots we would have missed without this tour. Ellie also recommended a great Indian food place, Punjab, and helped us get the right Underground to our next destination.
This is an excellent London Walk, around a very interesting area of London covering Covent Garden, St Paul's Church and Seven Dials. The knowledge of our guide Ellie is brilliant with so much detail about this part of London. We were lucky to be part of a small group of six people so it was really easy to hear her commentary, and we saw parts of this area that I have never seen before.
We didn’t know what to expect but we had a really lovely guide Cicily who was very informative. Covent Garden is steeped in history and was pleased that we booked this tour.
My tour guide was so friendly and genuine! And so knowledgable. Had such a great time yesterday at this tour. Lots of knowledge and history.
Covent Garden and Seven Dials - two areas in London with fascinating histories and some secrets disclosed by our wonderful guide. Vert interesting stories that you don't want to miss.
We had a great time. Our host was knowledgeable, kind, and to the point. The tour is full of information and there’s plenty of opportunity to have a good laugh. I would certainly recommend it fully.
Best was that the tour was only for my wife and myself. Our guide, Cecily, could have canceled, but didn’t. She created and researched the specifics for this tour and was a gracious wealth of information. We take Viator sponsored tours in every city and we will continue to do so.
Very enjoyable and informative walking tour of Covent Garden. The tour guide Charlotte was very informative and interesting. Would thoroughly recommend the tour.
Good to hear the history of St Pauls 'Actors' Church, the Royal Theatres and much more local history. Our guide, Ellie was knowledgeable, an excellent orator and made it a very interesting tour. I highly recommend her as a tour guide.
Our guide was really engaging and informative and very friendly. The tour was well researched exploring stories of the people typically left out of the history books. It was very interesting, even if you think you know the area well already.
Well informed and enjoyable experience with a knowledgeable and personable guide. Will return for another trip.
Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. It was nice to learn more about Covent Garden and the Seven Dials area since they don't normally feature in London tours. Good value for the price!
Our Tour Guide was great She was sure that all members of the party kept up as we walked around and could hear her as she spoke. The tour provides ot of I formation about Covent Garden and the surrounding areas as well as Thanx "misfuts" A good tour for those who want all perspectives
Cecily was a great guide. She moved us about Covent Gardens to just the right areas to share her info of the Misfits of CG tour. She is a great speaker, very informative and easily understood. Such a delight to see the younger generation so into their local history and eager to share the culture new and old. She is a very good speaker, listener, and I bet an excellent writer! Ask for her on this walking tour!
Out tour guide, Charlotte, was very knowledgeable and had an extensive insight of the city and its history. I'm looking forward to go back next week and take their tour of Camden town.
Charlotte was amazing!! Her historical knowledge and stories were exceptional and made for a very fun entertaining tour!
