OMG, what an amazing day out at the Midsomer Murders Tour!!!! So much fun!! The guide Ava was awesome, she was so knowledgeable and entertaining. We stopped in loads of recognisable Midsomer places, and Ava told us the episode stories behind the stops. Felt like we were following in the footsteps of DCI Barnaby, expected to see Troy or Jones round the corner at any point to be honest. If you're a Midsomer fan you'll love it. Even if you hate Midsomer (though I can't imagine many people do because it's an epic show) then you'll get to see pretty villages. 10/10 no notes.

Some beautiful places and great associations with Midsomer Murders. Tony the driver was great and excellent at navigating the narrow country lanes. Ava was a brilliant tour guide, lots of knowledge with a fabulous sense of humour. She looked after us really well.
Rob was a great guide and we were amazed by Dave’s driving abilities. We learned a lot of history and geography and also a lot about where episodes were shot
If you are fan of Midsomer Murders, this is a wonderful tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable about not only Midsomer, but many other British shows that filmed in the locations we visited. Lot of walking, so be prepared for that! Only issue is with the tour provider. Meet info says to meet in Front of a Starbucks at the location. NO STARBUCKS THERE!!! Guide says he has attempted to get tour provider to change that several times, but still not changed!!!!
ava and michael were both amazing!! ava is such a natural as a guide, kept us all engaged and laughing throughout the entirety of the trip despite how long the day was and you could feel her own genuine enjoyment of the show and tour. we also felt safe with michael at the wheel of the coach despite the awkward country roads!
Really enjoyed our tour guide Ava. She has a wonderful sense of humor and I will always look at everyone as a murderer. 😊. Also our driver Michael was outstanding. I’m not sure how he got down some of the narrow roads.
A must for any Midsomer Murders fan!
Both Eva and Michael were very accommodating and made us feel welcome on the tour. The tour was prompt, covered many of the series film locations and was very easy to be a part of. All aspects were catered for and I don't think anyone was unsatisfied with the day.
Absolute best guide ever, best driver and so much fun. We really got the feeling of Midsomer and recognised all locations and got more than just Midsomer. I do recommend any fan of Midsomer to take this amazing tour, the best ever so much fun.
We had this trip given to us as a gift at Christmas. From the booking through the whole experience it was professional and well delivered. Our driver Tony was excellent as was our guide Fiona. Fiona was very knowledgeable and full of fun. We had a great day and will remember it for years to come.
Just an amazing experience. I’m a huge midsomer murder fan but even if you aren’t it’s just so lovely to get out of the city and see all these tiny villages you wouldn’t get to see otherwise
Bus ride wa about 2-21/2 hours. Nice bus. Guide was knowledgeable about the first few seasons. Didn’t really get into the most recent seasons.
The whole tour is a fan’s dream come true. To see the locations and hear some stories about the series is a must see for any Midsomer fan. Eva the guide and Michael the driver made everything 10 times better.
What an absolutely fantastic experience! The Midsomer Murders tour was one of the highlights of our trip, and that was entirely thanks to our wonderful guide, Eva, and our driver, Michael. Eva was simply outstanding—so knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate. She brought every filming location to life with fun facts, and her infectious enthusiasm. Even if you're a huge Midsomer Murders fan, you'll learn so much, and if you're not, she'll make you fall in love with it anyway. A huge thank you as well to Michael, who made the journey incredibly smooth and comfortable. He was friendly, professional, and made everyone feel welcome from the moment we stepped on the coach. Together, Eva and Michael made the perfect team. They created such a warm, fun, and relaxed atmosphere that the day flew by. It honestly felt like spending the day with friends rather than being on a tour. If you're considering the Midsomer Murders tour, don't hesitate—book it! And if you're lucky enough to have Eva and Michael, you're in for an unforgettable day. Five stars simply aren't enough!
Fantastic tour - beautiful locations - Ava and Michael were also great . Ava's knowledge, energy and humour made the day ! Would highly recommend .
Very informative. Tour guide knew her material without notes. Never stumped by Midsomer questions. Driver skills, impeccable.
We had the most fantastic day from.pick up at holland park to sadly when the tour dropped us back.off at holland park that evening we was never on the coach that long just about an hour to get out of london and getting back to london was tbe longest part of the coach journey there was lots of short stops along the way plus a nice long lunch stop our host ava was fantastic and really funny especially after she had her coffee fix at the first stop she went out of her way to speak with everyone and remember where we came from ( sidcup for us plus 2 nice ladies from bromley just down the road from us at sidcup) there was a great mix of people on the tour from uk germany france portugal croatia czech republic ( i believe is now czechia) plus the usa ( big shout to the bensons from texas also.to the late arrivals the hoovers) of course we couldnt have got to any of these destinations without our driver for the day michael who also interacted brilliantly with us all ava and michael make a great team and clearly enjoy working together when teamed up.a very enjoyable day and would happily do this tour again but only with ava and michael as our driver and guide
Had the most wonderful day such an informative tour big shout to the lovely ava for looking after us plus driver michael for also looking after us on the road the whole experience was a pleasure from pick up to drop off a long day but very rewarding thanks again guys top marks
Utterly delightful! Even a non Midsomer fan would find the villages a treat. Eva was full of tidbits of knowledge! We saw the windmill house from Jonathan Creek, the church from Vicar of Dibley and the inspiration of Toad Hall in Wind in the Willows.
Great trip . Eva and Tony were great fun and knowledgeable. Will rewatch our visits on the Midsomer episodes.
Great day. Ava was very good guide. Very informative. Good fun. Tony our coach driver was very good as well.
The guide was excellent, great sense of humour, driver was fairly good too. The times spent at each location was a bit short, though I understand that's a difficult part of the planning in terms of getting to see as many places as possible vs time spent enjoying it. The temperature was about 31C, cooler than the days before, but still excessively hot with a high pollen count, so I was sneezing quite often, but it was worth it. We found a great pub for lunch at Henley. My only complaint is the fact that we were booked as a couple and despite that the bus was not full, we were not able to sit together and no-one on the bus volunteered to offer us seats together.
My wife and I had a very enjoyable day on the Midsomer Murders tour. The pickup at the start was very easy and well-organised. Our guide Eva was very knowledgeable and entertaining and the driver Michael made light work of what looked like some quite stressful tight spots. Clips from the series were played on the coach showing the places as we went to them which helped put things in context (since there are more than 100 episodes even the biggest fan could be forgiven for not recognising everything immediately!. Thank you to both Eva and Michael for a fun day out.
This was an excellent tour, brilliantly led by Eva who was a mine of wonderful information not only about the Midsomer locations but all the other things that had been filmed in the area and the history of the places we visited. Also Michael was excellent as our coach driver and dealt skilfully with the challenges of getting us to the locations. All in all a day that will stay in the memory for a very longtime, thanks again To Eva and Michael.
This was our clients husband only request while traveling in the UK earlier this month. Their feedback was that this tour was the highlight of their trip! Rob was excellent and was super informative. They were thrilled with the tour and guide. Thank you!
Very nice trip through Midsomer. I would have liked a few more opportunities to get off the bus to take pictures and to have some more time at each stop; but time is limited with so much ground to cover. My wife and I truly enjoyed seeing the sights.
Very wonderful- a long day but Rob (leader) and Driver Dave were pleasant, knowledgeable, helpful all day!
Eva did a phenomenal job. She has fantastic energy and really brought together the scenery along with the show. By the way, our coach driver Leon also did a great job!!!
Rob was very knowledgeable. Gave us lots of info. Kept us entertained on the bus with video clips on the locations we were seeing.
What a wonderful trip. If you are a fan of Midsomer Murders, this is the tour to take. Even if you aren’t a fan, it’s a great way to see some of the beautiful small villiages. Our tour guide Ava was amazing and funny and had a wealth of knowledge. We had an amazing day.
What can we say!? Other than this was a fantastic tour! Eva the guide was funny, entertaining, explained everything! And Neuman the coach driver! Wow 😮 his driving out of London and down all the small country lanes! Felt very safe! We visited so many villages, didn’t stop at all but that would be too much too! Loved it!
This was absolutely one of the BEST tours I have ever experienced! Even if one is not a Midsomer Murders fan, the tour is absolutely worth taking because of the quaint yet stunning villages one visits. We have toured the Cotswolds but found the villages on tour even better! This is truly the England one envisions 🥰 Eva was an incredible tour guide. She was brilliant - very knowledgeable and a witty sense of humor! We highly recommend this tour!
Excellent tour and guide very knowledgable on Midsomer murders. One improvement would be to consider providing a 2 day tour option for mad Midsomer fans to cover more villages and settings in more detail.
The trip was wonderful. Our guide,Rob, was knowledgeable, informative, and entertaining. The bus was comfortable and the stops were well planned. We had a great day!
Rob was an amazing and funny guide, it was a great way to spend the day! Lots of stops and surprising facts, plus local knowledge that you wouldn't be able to get elsewhere
This is a fun tour. It is nice that the clips from the series are shared either before or after the sites, as it helps with recognising the places.
This was a delightful experience. Both the tour guide and the driver were wonderful. It’s an excellent way to see the English countryside.
Eva, our guide, and Micheal, our driver, were great. Saw so much, she could but the sites we visited in context with the show. Micheal could maneuver the bus so expertly, we got into places we'd normally have to walk, alot. Both very friendly.
Guide Eva and driver Mike were well prepared, engaging and able to adapt when circumstances changed. The pacing was good. The tour was worth the cost and the time.
If you have watched Midsomer Murders, this is a must tour. First, Midsomer is much bigger than we expected! Just an hour outside of London, the tour winds its way through the many villages of Midsomer and our guide pointed many, many of the locations where the show was filmed. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the show (of course) but also of the history and geography of the area. The tour bus was comfortable for our group of 32, and the free time allowed for shopping, eating, and even a Guinness or two. We have watched all 24 seasons of the show but can’t wait to get home to start watching again!
Rob was an excellent and knowledgeable guide about the villages and the episodes of Midsommer Murders that were filmed in each location. You couldn’t ask for a better guide.
Was such a lovely day to see all the pretty villages of Oxfordshire. Very interesting to see all the locations that Midsomer Murder is filmed. The Tour guide Rob had so much knowledge and really made the trip. The coach driver Tony was great. Really recommend this trip.
The Midsomer Murders tour was really fun and well executed. Our guide Rob was full of information about set locations and had great insider stories and tidbits. Our bus driver got us to each location safely and was very friendly. All in all it was a great was a great way to spend the day and to see the English countryside outside of London. There was a little bit of walking, but some was an additional option and wasn't required to experience the main tour expectations. Would highly recommend.
The day started with a challenge…the bus company sent a coach with no screen so our guide, Rob, wasn’t able to screen-share his MM clips and photos. Then once we set off news came through that the entry to the M40 had been shut so were stuck in slow diverted traffic. Thankfully we had Super Rob. He knew the area inside out and was quickly able to get us back on Midsomer territory plus his vast knowledge of the show meant the clips he had planned weren't needed as he simply told us more stories and historical facts of the places. In fact, if he hadn’t have shared the bus company’s misdemeanour we would have been none the wiser. Really enjoyed the day and lovely locations. All this on the hottest day of the year too!
The experience was great really enjoyed it , the bus was on time and had air conditioning on a very warm day , Robert the guide was great very knowledgeable about the show and lots of other things we had a great day. We will certainly do more tours in the future .
We’ve seen all the Midsomer episodes at least once. So it was delightful to be on a comfortable bus with fans from all over North America and Europe who love the series as we do. The very knowledgeable guide knew the lovely country villages where the first seasons were largely filmed. What you see in the series is exactly what those villages look like, though we didn’t see any bodies or police anywhere. Lovely day. We are enjoying re-watching the old episodes, “hey, we saw that!” A highlight of our trip.
I’d been looking forward to this trip and it did not disappoint! Rob had such a wealth of knowledge about the locations and episodes. It was a good mix of viewing out the bus window and getting out and exploring pubs and churches used in the show and other tv shows too. The locations were beautiful and our bus driver Craig did a great job getting the bus down country roads. Even if you haven’t seen Midsomer it’s a beautiful day out in the English countryside.
Myself, my wife and 2 of our friends had an amazing time on the Midsomer Murders tour last Saturday (31/05/25). Our guide, Rob, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable which helped make the tour a fantastic experience. He made the tour interesting and informative as well as relaxed and fun. Our driver, Craig, expertly navigated some very tight villages and extremely narrow rods. We all agreed the tour would be just as good for anyone's just wanting to get out to see Henley on Thames and some stunning English villages, you don't need to be a fan of Midsomer but it definitely helps. All in all it was a cracking experience that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend giving a go.
Knowladgeable tour guide and excellent driver. Liked being able to stop periodically. Likes the walks. Coach was comfortable
Rob was friendly and entertaining. He made the experience a brilliant time and the driver was excellent. A good range of Places to visit.
