Carolina gave us a very in-depth tour of not just Harry Potter, but of other films made in the area. I would recommend her 100%!

Considered an inspiration for Azkaban Prison, The Clink adds to the historical ambiance of the area, which was utilised as a filming location for scenes in Harry Potter.
Shakespeare's Globe Theatre is an exact replica of the 16th century theatre that once stood here. This version was built by actor Sam Wanamaker, who is actually the father of Zoe Wanamaker who played Madame Hooch. In addition, David Tenant (Barty Crouch Jr) was married here.
This iconic London landmark, built in the year 2000 (hence the name) was blown up by the Death Eaters in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince film!
This is where Newt Scamander met Dumbledore in the Fantastic Beasts series and served as the set for the staircase to the Divination Tower in the Harry Potter film franchise.
Daniel Radcliffe attended the prestigious City of London School, which has a reputation for academic excellence and notable alumni. His education at this esteemed school provided a strong foundation that complemented his burgeoning acting career.
Great Scotland Yard stood in for the entrance to the Ministry of Magic in the Harry Potter films. The historic and imposing façade of the building provided a fittingly grand and authoritative exterior for the magical government headquarters.
Here you will stand in the footsteps of the Trio as you explore the location where they infiltrated the Ministry of Magic in The Order of the Phoenix.
Whitehall serves as the location of the Ministry of Magic both in the books and the film series. Also, there is a portal here on Downing Street for the Minister for Magic to communicate with the Prime Minister of the muggle world.
This central London piazza is one of London's most recognised landmarks and was also the site of the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 on July 7, 2011, attracting thousands of fans from around the globe.
Godwin's Court in London, with its narrow, winding alley and historic charm, is believed to have inspired the set designers' depiction of Knockturn Alley in the Harry Potter series.
Cecil Court, a quaint pedestrian street in London known for its antiquarian bookshops and historic charm, is widely believed to have inspired Diagon Alley in the Harry Potter series. The enchanting atmosphere, lined with eclectic shops and Victorian architecture, mirrors the magical shopping district where wizards purchase their spellbinding supplies.
The entrance to Diagon Alley is located here on Charing Cross Road, a bustling thoroughfare in London known for its bookstores. This central and vibrant location adds a touch of magical realism to the series, blending the ordinary Muggle world with the hidden wizarding realm.

It was a lovely experience with Carolina. She took all our questions into consideration and gave us a brilliant overview of all the filming places and a lot more. She also gave us good hints for visiting and trying things in London. Thank You! The two nerds from Germany.
We did our Harry Potter walking tour on our first day in London. Being a huge Harry Potter fan this was a nice alternative since the Harry Potter Experience was sold out and requires reservations months in advance. Our guide's name was ironically Harry and he was awesome! We had such a great time with him walking around London and hearing about Harry Potter and other fun facts that he was able to share. A great feature of the tour was that Harry had a large tablet available so he would show us clips from the movies and then point out the specifics in the locations where we were standing! It was really cool to be able to do that. While all of this was great, I think the best part was just being able to walk all over London, getting a feel for the city and all the sights and then knowing where we wanted to go back to and explore on our own. The bottle of butterbeer was a nice touch at the end, but I don't know if it was necessary. It was fun to go to the Harry Potter store where the butterbeer was sold but it did add on an extra 20-30 minutes and we were all getting tired so it wasn't a huge selling point for me to have that option at the end. It also would've been nice if there had been tables and chairs to sit and enjoy the butterbeer instead of just standing in the store. I know that's not the tour's responsibility, but just sharing for those who might be interested in going. To sum it all up, it was a fantastic walking tour that I highly recommend, especially if you're a Harry Potter fan. Wear comfortable shoes and dress weather appropriately because you are outside and you do get many steps in!
Caroline was also very informertive on and around London not only the Harry Potter movies spots. My husband and I had a great time.
I would have loved to take this tour but our tour guide never showed up. We tried calling, messaging through the site, texting, and emailing and never received a callback or acknowledgement that I tried reaching out. We must have been the only ones to book for that day and rather than just call or message us and cancel, they didn't show up. We waited for half an hour at the meeting point before booking a different tour for later that day and requesting a refund. I'm still floored by the lack of courtesy.
I did a tour with Ana Maria it was really the most amazing day, she was so friendly, kind and knowlegable. She added some bonus tips and suprises which was very sweet. I absoultely loved her passion and knowledge of not only the Harry Potter sites but the city of London. I will certainly be recommending her to my friend . Thanks again Ana you are so awesome !
This tour was an enchanting experience from start to finish. Our guide was passionate and engaging, taking us to key locations like the Godwin's Court, the inspiration for Knockturn Alley and the Trafalgar square which was the site of world premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. We learned so much about the making of the films and the history behind these iconic spots. Sipping on Butterbeer as we walked added an extra layer of fun and authenticity.
This tour is a delightful experience for fans, blending iconic locations with enchanting stories. It’s a charming way to relive the magic of the series.
We had a blast on this tour! We saw all the cool Harry Potter spots, like the steps at St. Paul’s Cathedral and the entrance to the Ministry of Magic. Our guide made it so much fun with all the great stories. The tour was very well managed by Tour by Foot as i was travelling alone but not a single minute I get bored. Highly Recommeded.
This Tour complete with a bottle of Butterbeer, is a delightful treat for fans of the series. It offers an engaging journey through key filming locations with a touch of magical fun.
This Tour is a fun and immersive experience for fans. It offers a charming stroll through iconic locations with a touch of wizarding magic.
I really enjoyed my Harry Potter walking tour with Tours by Foot in London. At just over 2 hours, I felt it was the right length and the 2:00pm-4:00pm time worked well for my schedule. The guide was really funny and knowledgable, and also went out of his way to recommend other activities for me to do as a solo traveller while I am in the city. I loved it!
So glad we found this tour! Our kids had so much fun and we enjoyed seeing a bunch of London sights along the way. We would definitely recommend this tour for families, it was good for the kiddos and the adults!
We did the Harry Potter Tour and really enjoyed the experience. The guide was hilarious, we learned so much that we wouldn’t have if we’d gone on our own and drinking the butterbeer was excellent. We have been recommending this to all of our friends.
This was not my first Harry Potter walking tour but it was definitely the best! Aside from the inclusion of the butterbeer, the guide was very friendly, really funny, and made the effort to talk to all of us throughout the tour. He also had great recommendations for things to do afterwards and other HP-related tips which I really appreciated. I would highly recommend this tour!
We had so much fun on this Harry Potter Tour. It was the perfect accompaniment for our trip to the WB Studios as we really feel like we have seen it all now. The guide was hilarious and kept everybody entertained which was impressive as there was a mix of kids and adults. As a side note we actually preferred the butterbeer on this tour to the one we had at the WB Studios!
Even in the typical London rain, this Harry Potter tour was the highlight of our trip. The guide kept us entertained and the time went by so quickly, we forgot we had even been walking in the rain for two hours. Drinking the butterbeer was a cool experience and we got some amazing photos of us standing in the same places the actors did in the movies which was an unexpected bonus.
This tour was highly entertaining both for me and for my Son. Our guide was friendly and seemed to know everything about Harry Potter, there was not one question asked that he didn’t know the answer to. The two hours flew by and we both enjoyed the butterbeer (my son more than me as it was very sweet)
We did three tours with Tours by London while we were in town and this was our favourite - mostly because we got to try real butterbeer! It was sweet and fizzy, just like we imagined it was from the books/movies. It was even better to drink it while seeing all the locations mentioned in the books and places used for filming in the movies. We would 100% recommend this tour.
If you love Harry Potter then this is the tour for you! My friend and I had a blast, guessing the answers to questions, drinking butterbeer, and seeing the places where the movies were filmed. There were also lots of behind-the-scenes facts and hidden places we never would have found on our own. If you love Harry Potter you will love this tour!
I took this tour with my two kids last week. Only one of my kids is into Harry Potter but the tour was so fun that both kids had a great time! The guide was super friendly and connected well with both the adults and the little ones on the tour. Getting to try Butterbeer was super fun, too.
I never thought I'd like Butterbeer and was even hesitant to try it, but... when I started drinking it, I found it DELICIOUS. You can even eat ice cream with butter beer. It was at the Harry Potter shop in Manhattan on your final tour you can get a special Harry Potter Butterbeer pack and it comes with an exclusive New York Griffin wand, a souvenir pin, a chocolate frog, a draft Butterbeer and a Butterbeer ice cream. It's worth it, friends, don't miss it.
