Itinerary
Meet your Blue Badge certified guide at Parliament Square, surrounded by statues of world leaders alongside the Gothic facade of the Houses of Parliament. Your guide gives a brief overview of the day's royal highlights before the group sets off toward Westminster's historic center.
Stand outside the Elizabeth Tower to hear how the 13-tonne bell inside has marked the hours over the Thames since 1859. Your guide explains that Big Ben is the name of the bell itself, not the tower, and shares the story of how this clock face became one of London's most photographed landmarks.
Walk past the famous black door at 10 Downing Street, the official residence of the British Prime Minister since 1735. Your guide shares stories of the decisions made at this address while armed police guard the entrance around the clock.
Stroll through St. James's Park, London's oldest royal park, where pelicans glide across the lake and tree-lined paths lead toward Buckingham Palace. Your guide walks alongside the group and connects the park's royal heritage to the ceremony ahead.
Your guide positions the group away from the thickest crowds to watch the Queen's Guard march in red tunics and bearskin hats in the Changing of the Guard. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, or when weather prevents the ceremony, the group visits the Horse Guards Parade in Whitehall instead.
Step inside Westminster Abbey with timed entry, bypassing the main queue to reach the nave of Britain's coronation church, where monarchs have been crowned since 1066. Your Blue Badge guide leads you past the Coronation Chair, Queen Elizabeth I's tomb, and Poets' Corner, connecting centuries of royal coronations, weddings, and literary memorials to the Gothic stone around you.

Lots of walking at a reasonable pace. Lots of information but well presented . A nice package to see some important sites.
Jackie was great. She had a lot of good information. We had a really rainy day, which meant there was no changing of the guard, but despite the weather, she got us to see a parade of the horses guard. The tour of Westminster Abbey was fantastic!
Jackie was a great tour guide, making the best out of a rainy day.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. He took his time and was very thorough! It was a beautiful tour of London.
Adrian was great. He found all the good viewing spots for the changing of the guards & gave us detailed instructions on where to look for important points on the tour. He was very knowledgeable and interesting.
Great overview of Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and Westminster. Our guide was entertaining. Be prepared to walk.
Absolutely brilliant!!! We did the half day tour and our guide was phenomenal. Having the earpieces was brilliant as we didn’t need to be standing right next to our guide to hear what he was saying. Saw the changing if the guard, and more importantly inside Westminster Abby. A bucket list tick off and our final stop in London. Well worth the money and absolutely thrilled with our tour. Do yourself a favour and do this tour.
Steven was fantastic! He was detailed, thoughtful and fun to listen to. We walked through pretty much the entire Westminster with an emphasis on the Westminster Abbey towards the end. We booked this tour for our first day in town. Definitely a great way to start our visit to the city! Highly recommend!
Steven was a fantastic tour guide. He made the tour incredibly interesting and entertaining. I would highly recommend this tour.
Overall is great, but too much walking without pausing longer!
Stephen Reef was excellent guide. Very well run and informative
I wish that I could remember the name of our guide. He was amazing. He told us lots of interesting facts and tidbits about the Abby, King’s Guard, the Changing of the Guard, Talked about life at Buckingham Palace, High Grove, Windsor versus Clarence House. He walked us down Queen Ann’s street (which I would have never found on my own) and helped us envision what it was like in the 1700’s. Take this tour.
This was your standard walking tour. Our guide was pleasant and talked of the standard sights. Between sights he often had little to say. I really think all guides should have a script to follow so every tour receives the same information.
Excellent tour. Excellent guide. We enjoyed learning so much about London and it’s government/royalty.
I believe our guide's name was Jacklyn, but I'm not sure. She was a middle-aged woman with short curly hair and a classy manner. Our guide masterfully orchestrated the tour. You could see that every step, gesture and comment was honed with tons of successful experience, though all of it presented as spontaneous, charming and witty. I also appreciated her placing us in perfect positions for viewing and photos, as I witnessed many, many other people who were less fortunate because of the crowds. I also like how organized this company is from check-in to the inclusion of audio equipment that made it easy to hear our guide at all times. I can really see zero room for improvement!
Wonderful tour of these top attractions in London. Informative tour guide. Great pace. Spent a great amount of time in Westminster Abbey with in depth history and modern activities in the abbey. Definitely recommend.
Adrian masterfully our tour from Parliament through Saint James Park to Buckingham Palace and finally to and in Westminster Abbey. He was quite knowledgeable and humorous in a subtle British way. He gave us insight that when the gates were open at Clarence House I motorcade is about to occur. We did not see the motorcade while on the tour, but later in the day we noticed the flag on Buckingham Palace that the King was in and then there was the motorcade. We would not have known this without Adian’s insight. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone.
More than we expected!!! Adrian masterfully took us around Parliament, St. James Park, Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey. Although Westminster Abbey was crowded, he mangled to maneuver our group to see all the highlights. Along the journey, we stopped to see the ceremony of the Royal Guard Horses. His timing was perfect and we were in a prime spot to watch the ceremony. He was quite knowledgeable and humorous, but in a subtle British style. We would highly recommend this tour and Asian to everyone.
Jeremy was our guide and he was awesome! The tour was exactly what we were looking for and was exactly as described. Highly recommend!
Steven Reid was our tour guide and did a fantastic job. He was really able to pull history into his presentation and made it relevant and more interesting.
We enjoyed this trip with our guide, Dan, who was very friendly, approachable, and informed. He was also very careful to keep track of everyone in his group (so that no one was left behind), and with the crowds around that day, that was quite a trick. He also made sure to tell the group when it was a good time to take a restroom break. He even went the extra mile, paying the cost himself, if the tour group members had no change or didn't bring a credit card. (In case you didn't know, there are many places in London that require a small payment to use the restrooms.) The pace of the tour was just right. Thanks Dan.
It is a fast-paced, historical fact filled tour. Westminster Abbey can be very tightly packed with people. It was a bit claustrophobic at times for one of us. Nicholas, our guide was jovial, extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. We enjoyed his talk completely.
Excellent - Sean was great with wonderful stories of 2,000 history. Tour was well run. Very pleasant experience.
So I booked this tour because I wanted to see the changing of the guards up close and personal. We only saw the band and the guards leaving from the street. That was about 90 seconds. We never went up to the palace. Took pictures from afar. Next up was the Westminster Abbey. We spent the majority of our time here. Our guide was great to commentate as we walked through. It’s huge! Then the tour was over. Thought we were going to Big Ben. Nope never mentioned it only saw it from Parliament square.
Great tour! Andrea was fabulous! So much interesting history and pace was perfect. Highly recommend .
This tour was so enjoyable. The tour guide was very knowledgeable regarding history and date, had a great sense of humor. I would highly recommend it.
France lettuce on a wonderful tour of Westminster Abbey. She shared a lot of information and history that we would not have learned if we toured on our own. Our timing was perfect for seeing the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace and she knew the best spots to stand and watch. Even though we covered a bit of ground, while walking, she did an excellent job of keeping the group together. Our only criticism is that she talked nonstop, and sometimes it was difficult to ask a question.
Jeremy was a wealth of knowledge ! Enjoyed him and our tour. The stops along the way plus what we were supposed to see made it very worthwhile.
Emma did an amazing job on our tour! We went from knowing not so much to wow how cool is that! We enjoyed every minute of the tour with her. Her knowledge was incredible! We walked and walked …we enjoyed seeing Buckingham Palace….everything is kept so clean here! Thank you again, Emma for a wonderful tour and for sharing all your knowledge with us! We have enjoyed visiting London for the first time and hope to make it back sometime!
Really enjoyed the tour and really learned a lot, adults and kids alike.
The guide was very knowledgeable and kept our interest. And I didn't feel rushed at any of our stops
The tour was great and Adriana was fantastic! It’s a lot of walking, so be prepared for that - but it was so much information, presented so well, it was definitely worth it.
It was interesting and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. However, it was a bit too fast paced and difficult to keep up. It was too concentrated on Westminster Abbey. It might have been better to let people go at their own pace here. It would have been nice to see the actual changing of the guard after the parade. Perhaps break this tour up a but to allow more time. The ear pieces stopped working at various times as well.
Dan was an awesome guide, very informative and knowledgeable
Fantastic guide - Dan. Informative and kept good pace
Outstanding, guide was was well versed on the history and makings of the cathedral, surrounding city buildings and gardens. The walk around before we entered the Cathedral was OMG and so enteresting.
Had a free morning in London and glad we chose this tour. Gavin, our guide, did a masterful job positioning us for ideal Changing of the Guard photo ops, deftly balanced history lessons and reflections on modern London landmarks, and handled all the questions our group had. Recommended!
What a lovely and informative tour! The excitement of the morning was infectious. Beginning with the Changing of the Guards ceremony was amazing, as was every portion of this tour. Huge thanks to Frances for the spectacular details and stories!
Frances was a wonderful guide and got us the best spots on our tour especially the changing of the guard, their walk to Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey sharing historic facts and stories. We were a small group so it felt so private. It was a perfect 3 hours for first time in London!
An expert tour guide who took us through the history of Westminster Abbey. She was accommodating as well. It was raining and we decided to skip the walk. We were able to rejoin the group. Really assisted with the experience. She knew our names and where we were from!
Fantastic - fun, educational and witty. Frances was amazing , she timed all activities perfectly and was super sweet
Francis was an amazing, fun and educational guide. I would recommend her to anyone taking this tour. She was great!
Knowledgeable guide, easy going, great information
Andrew was our guide and did amazing. Very interesting tour and a great start to our trip! Would recommend!
Andrew Raynor - our guide was incredible- knowledgeable.
Knowledgeable guide, friendly, easy going
Great experience. Anne knew great spot and timing of changing of. Guards. Easy listening well directed route to view many area of interest.
Andrew was extremely knowledgeable, funny and thoughtful.
Mostly good experience. Andrew was knowledgeable about a lot of things. Only draw back was being slowed down a bit by other people on the tour not keeping up. Also would’ve liked a closer view of the changing of the guards by the palace. We were pretty far back.
