Norman was very friendly, polite and helpful. He gave me clear directions, explained which boat I needed to take and wished me a lovely day. Such a positive experience!
Norman at Greenwich pier was very friendly and helpful, just all round great guy
Love Norman at Greenwich peer. Always a pleasure running into him, great guy with even greater humor. Thank you Norman for telling me I’ll be rich one day😂
Rode from North Greenwich to Chelsea Harbour. Journey was fine apart from refreshments are very limited during the trip. For instance, they could not d the toastie because the oven wasn't working and they only had one croissant, and this was before the first stop. Might be an idea to take your own food!
Loved the view and everything was just great experience. Staff very attentive, very good value for money. Enjoyed it thoroughly.
Excellent, Norman saved me from panic as I turned up just in time without a ticket. Really cannot thank him enough
Norman gave us a prep speech before getting on and he’s the goat
Norman was amazing 🔥🔥 very friendly and funny too
Norman was really helpful and a nice guy!
A really good time, in a boat on the Thames River. It could have been better if there were more space to see the outside without being behind the windows.
Norman was polite and attentive focusing on providing a good experience and he was able to do so easily as there were not many customers nearby.
We had an issue with the ticket machine taking our request and money but not printing a ticket. Maleek was able to track the transaction and sort out the issue for us. Very helpful and professional.
I am traveling with my 7 year old son who has additional support needs. Travelling is not always easy for us. Parminder and her collegue were incredibly helpful and understanding, alot more than many others have been on our visit to London. They are a real credit to your company.
Great value & able to see a lot of London sites We took it early afternoon and we were able to day & night.
Norman at the terminal was hilarious and very helpful to the tourists that were in the queue with us
Norman helped us with our tickets and was fabulous, and soo helpful!!
Thank you to all the staff especially Norman who looked after us, gave us information for our trip to the Tate for my 60th birthday. He was even there on our return trip back to Greenwich. Great customer service from start to finish. Thank you all. Sharon and Alaya #greenwichhome
Norman good custome's service very helpful and welcoming
Norman very good person, the boat very well also
Amazing experience and amazing staff shotout to Norman for his kindness and support, 100% recommend
An extremely safe and pleasurable experience taking in great sights and views in clean and comfortable surroundings with very friendly and helpful staff at a reasonable price!
Although we had a pre booked trip but couldn’t get to enjoy because the boats had no capacity to take us 4. 2 of our friends were having to celebrate their 60th birthday so We waited for more than an hour, 5boats passed through but no one could take us. Never again!
I traveled from Embankment pier to Greenwich pier, the views were amazing and the boats were fabulous. Archie and Benjamin at embankment were a huge help giving us recommendations and being patient even though the pier was very busy. Very professional staff and boats were so much fun!!
I left my bag, with my passport inside, on board just after getting off at the Greenwich Pier. I noticed within seconds and immediately walked back against the crowd, calling out to a staff member twice. He looked straight past me and ignored me. By the time I reached the pier, the boat had pulled away. Another staff member sent me back to the same person. I simply asked if he could radio the crew to look out for my bag, and offered to meet the boat at the next stop or wait where I was. His answer: "There's nothing I can do." He told me to call customer service. Customer service was no better. They repeated generic information and refused to contact the crew to even confirm whether my bag had been found. I have onward travel across Europe, all of which is now at risk without my passport. A quick radio call could have saved me days of stress and a lot of money. Yes, leaving my bag was my mistake. But I've read other reviews here where staff at different piers radioed the crew straight away and passengers got their belongings back. So the staff clearly can help; in my case, they just chose not to. The boats themselves are fine, but if anything goes wrong, don't expect any help or empathy. Management needs to seriously improve staff training and attitude.
Thank goodness for Norman who was working on the on off section at North Greenwich. He was so helpful after we were given the wrong information by members of staff at the top of the Entrance.
Lovely Norman showed us the way from Greenwich to Westminister
This was our first trip on the Uber boat, from the London Eye to the Cutty Sark on September 8th. We are not that “tech” savvy and without being able to purchase tickets at a face to face kiosk we were guided through the tap on tap off procedures, not realising we needed different payment cards😱 On our return, having purchased 2 tickets from a machine this time, we arrived at the boat with only the one ticket. It was pouring down with rain and didn’t realise we had just one ticket and a receipt! This was all very stressful and thought we were going to miss the train home. However… Malkeet saved the day. His understanding and helpfulness was outstanding. A real credit to the company and we look forward to returning.
Norman was very helpful and courteous , helping us to choose our journey and ticket as per the preference we expressed. Friendly manner and knowledgable.
Uber boat was super easy to navigate. Boat was on time all the staff on the docks and boat were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and professional including Norman who was at the Embankment dock.
We were met by Norman on the pier who was so helpful on advising us on where to go and how long we would be waiting. highly recommend!!
Travelled from Canary Wharf to Embankment and back with an elderly friend who is using a walking aid. Norman helped us at the Embankment pier , was very cheerful and attentive. Polite and helpful staff on the boat too.
There is a wonderful option when I come to London: taking a quick trip on the Uber Boat. It’s extremely convenient and such a lovely way to travel instead of taking the Underground. I love the river views, the helpful staff and the relaxed atmosphere. Norman was also a lovely and helpful member of staff. I really enjoyed the trip and would definitely recommend it!
Dmytro was amazing and did a happy birthday announcement for our brothers 50th - thank you so much! So friendly - he was awesome
Norman was very helpful and made sure we were taken care of and directed us where we needed to go.
I booked a trip from Embankment to Greenwich for a Sunday lunchtime a month ago. I activated the tickets as instructed as I approached the pier. As we walked down towards the jetty we were welcomed by the news that their would be a minimum of a 1 hour wait because "nobody is getting off". You can't reserve a seat so it's basically a pointless, random activity. No sign of a refund 4 weeks later even having asked 3 times. AVOID
I take the riverboat quite often at weekends and it’s such a relaxing way to travel around and see London although I do think £14 is a little pricey. The staff are always really friendly, but a special mention has to go to Malkeet, who is absolutely charming. He’s really funny and kept me entertained today while I was waiting for the boat. Great service and always a lovely experience.
Makeed was friendly and funny and escorted us o to the Uberboat. He flattered me by insisting I was only 35
Very kind he helped us get the right tickets
Great trip with my six-year-old to see the landmarks. We had ticket issues as the ticketing system had issues was very slow and booked an extra adult ticket. Luckily Malkeet was on hand at the gate - sorted it immediately - new tickets, correct people, organised for the error to be refunded. Professional, helpful, and worked fast so we could make the boat we needed to. A real superstar! The trip was great - we sat right at the front and saw Tower Bridge and all sorts of other places. Very exciting!
It was great experience we really enjoyed it. Thank you. We will be looking forward to seeing you next year again.
More stoping than cruising it was moving between piers i would not recomend this for sight seeing. Moreover we were seated in enclosed box not able to see any view properly
We had such a wonderful experience taking the Uber Boat from Westminster to Greenwich today. After a long day, the boat ride was honestly the perfect way to enjoy the rest of the day. The views were amazing, the journey was relaxing, and we had a really great time with our friends. I especially want to mention a lovely young lady who I believe was called Sauda or Sowda. She was incredibly friendly, smiley and helpful, and kindly helped me and my friends with our concession tickets when we were travelling to Greenwich. Her kindness and positive attitude really stood out and made the experience even better. Thank you to the whole team for a great journey, and especially to her for making us feel so welcome. We had an amazing day and would definitely recommend the Uber Boat to others!
We booked the Uber Boat via Trip Advisor with some discount, it was really worth. We used it from Westminster to Tower pier. It was a nice journey with toilets on board.
Before traveling we were very happy too much waiting when we were riding the uber boat the boat window is very dirty
Very good experience. Brilliant ride, beautiful view.
Nice boat ride. Shame the staff scanning the ticket at Greenwich pier had a face like thunder. As I struggled to download my ticket I managed to do so and then hurried to the boat. I waved at the boat and said "don't leave me" in a jokey manner. She then proceeds to say "don't do that" in an abrasive manner. Your staff need to lighten up honestly.
Horrible experience on Uber boat. Took a hour to get on the boat, and another hour to get from Westminster to Greenwich. I could have walked faster.
This is a total disaster from the start! A long queue of people with waiting time that can’t even be advised on by the 1 staff that is standing at the top of the queue. Booked tickets don’t mean anything as it depends on how many people get off a boat if you want to get on! A total choatic process that Uber obviously doesn’t care about as their boats are far too small and Uber is raking in the millions anyhow! Their license to operate this should be revoked and given to a company that does care about their customers! It’s very very poor and needs to be avoided!
We went to Westminster bridge early in the day to be told the boat would take 51 mins and left every 15mins by someone that represented Uber boats. We joined the boat from Westminster to take a 1 way to North Greenwich Pier to go to the O2 around 4.20pm. Once we boarded the boat we were told that it only went as far as Canary Wharf & we would need to change there. The first boat that came was too full for us to get on so we had to wait for the next one. I said to the staff we have a booking but was told the next boat would be 5 mins. Once that boat left the staff advised the next boat would be 15mins. While waiting at Canary wharf for the 2nd boat we were at the front of the line and there was no cover from the sun at that part of the line. A man decided to skip the queue saying he was entitled too. The staff did not control the line. We eventually arrived at North Greenwich Pier at 6.10pm. We were all stressed as we had a booking at 5.30pm. So when we got off boat we tapped out on the 1st tapper we saw. The next day we checked our banks and we had been overcharged. On checking further when we got home it turned out we were charged £22.50 for both times we tapped. I will say we went through TFL and they acted quickly to advise a refund of the over charge.
