A visit to Greenwich must include a guided visit to the Painted Hall in the Royal Naval College. Our guide, Grace, was excellent. Fluent and knowledgeable. Following the visit, we returned on an Uber Riverboat allowing views which you cannot see on land.
Sure this is good at certain times but what a disaster for us. 40 minute wait to get on & then 40 minute wait to return. Boats are crowded and staff not helpful. Nice views but what a waste of time. Would have been quicker to get a taxi and that is saying a lot
Great experience, worth every penny and really reasonable. Do not need to be ex navy to enjoy the Navel College, so interesting
Used the boat to cut down on a long walk and thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Was unexpected as had not planned to do the trip that way! Malkeet was extremely helpful and told us about the Greenwich Foot Tunnel which we knew nothing about- so was yet another unexpected experience! Brilliant!
David Notarius was amazing in all infos! Really polite! Since I am traveling alone, I was kind of afraid of taking the wrong boat . He provided all India’s really good service! The
Norman was super! He’s helpful, enjoyable, and supportive. Our waiting time was not longer than 10 minutes. Amazing! We’re used Apple Pay for PayAsYouGo.
Normaaaaaaaaaaaaan! No one can norman like Norman. It would be less than norman to suggest otherwise. Live up to Norman's standard or live life less than Norman, our guide.
I honestly did not realise that Uber boats were a thing. Shows you how long it is since I left London! But what a great (and efficient in my case) way to travel. We used the boat only for one stop, from the O2 down to Greenwich, but really enjoyed the experience. A good price, comfortable, and a bar with snacks!
Good security, made waiting for the boat a fun time and ride was smooth with no worries, Norman was an amazing guy aswell, no complaints!
Worst service ever…..they made us buy child tickets when they knew they had not enough space on the boat and the blond hair ticket guy at london eye was the worst
It was a frustrating experience. To be honest, from a product or service perspective, it is not a sight seeing attraction because it doesn't have big windows. It is also not a transportation as it takes 10x more time than any other method, walking included. Pointless attraction. There's also a hour long waiting line...
Norman was really nice It was so fun He lit us to on the boat And we saw nice things along the way He was cheerful and happy and it made an impression
Norman is super helpful and make sure there are no waves on the river. Also make sure the boat goes the right direction after the capitan got lost
Norman was very helpful, made sure we got on the right boat and ensured we wouldn’t get lost. Very welcoming and great customer service.
Amazing experience with the boat ride and the trip to the painted Hall. A memorable experience that needs to be visited at some point.
absolutely awful - avoid at all costs - boat was 20 mins late and then was too busy for us to board. we then had to get a cab to avoid being late for tower of london. when i complained was told to write an email and i may be able to get tickets moved to another day - really helpful as this is last day in london. no refund offered - truly disgraceful
Never knew there was such beauty to be found in Greenwich! The Painted Hall and surrounding estate was stunning, beautiful architecture and murals. We received a tour and our guide was very passionate and knowledgeable, talking us through the history of the grounds and its famous inhabitants. The Uber boat was a nice opportunity to relax and travel in comfort without the hustle and bustle and heat of the underground, but the views weren't quite as expected, windows could perhaps do with a clean. Nevertheless it made for an enjoyable day out. We spent the morning in Greenwich then took the boat to Embankment for dinner in Central London. Would recommend this tour.
It is the best way to travel across much of London, especially from West to East - fast, efficient and really fascinating. You can either just read or work throughout the journey or watch our wonderful city float past. It is the best way to get a thorough backdrop of British history and great fun to boot - plus, London keeps changing and evolving so, if you last did this trip five years ago, you will almost certainly find something new and amazing to see... without the traffic jams and road closures.
To go to Greenwich ideal the Uberboat several stops ago I took it to Westminster it's nice the beautiful painted hall I recommend you would have to spend the day in Greenwich to see all the attractions
