Norman needs a rase he is brilliant and I love he Jamaican accent.
Wouldn't go too London any other way, oaid 13-50 because my carer came with me ,easy too book online ,saw a show came back too Embankment where we got off went into the lounge got coffee very nice staff ,toilets are unbelievable spotless
I've got to give a shout out to Norman at your Uber Greenwich terminal. I could not find my ticket on my phone. He downloaded a Google wallet and opened it to find my ticket, saving this not very tech savvy 72 year old a lot of hassle and money. Well done to you Norman, a credit to your Company.
While the experience of hopping on and off was pretty good, we were a bit disappointed by the last boat we got where it offloaded at North Greenwich telling the passengers that it was ending service and the next boat would be in 25 minutes. Most people wandered off thinking we would have to wait and 5 minutes later another boat came along which we could have waited and got on. We weren’t the only ones annoyed. Poor communication on your part and kind of put a damper on our day.
It was a great experience. Our first time. Even better than the hop on hop off bus routes. You don't have to deal with the hassle of the cars, trucks, the traffic, people crossing on every light and corner. And the view is fantastic. More cleaner than on the streets.
We were helped by David N. Great service.
Norman did an excellent job. Highly recommended.
Thanks for the boat tour, I won't be going again, the boat tour was good, the seats were decent for the first three groups, I don't know if it's really worth be there 5 hours for a hundred, and the speed is a bit serious?
Norman was great! Very helpful.
Parmibder was very helpful and got us in to the right boat and tickets.
Fantastic service during the day. We were left stranded at the O2 on a Friday night when the ferry back into the city was cancelled. No information. No alternatives. Total chaos. Cost us a fortune for a cab back.
I am a daily commuter on uber boat and the staff at Greenwich pier is always lovely when I take my daily journey wonderful. Especially Norman, Marki, Parmimer, MK, ... everyone is just so nice. Please keep the commuter 🚢 boats
The boat ride itself was very good. We enjoyed seeing all the architecture along the river and the iconic sights. However, when we got to the furthest point on our trip, Battersea Power Station, we had to change boats. When our boat arrived for our trip back to Greenwich Pier, we were told that the Thames River was closed until after 2 pm. We had to be back at Greenwich by 3 pm since we were leaving on a Viking cruise from there. So, we had to take an Uber across the city in order to get back in time. Yes, we were very disappointed that we couldn't complete our boat tour.
A day trip to London , started well a bit iffy we took the last morning departure from Blackfriars pier at 11:30 to head east, although we had about less than ten minutes from the rail station to the jetty to get the boat, although yes we was in a bit of fluster finding the entrance pathway in so here goes …… Now we wasn’t alone here standing on the pier the boat pulled alongside we noted passengers disembarked from the front whilst we was stood I’d say nearer the back of the landing , within less than a minute it departed leaving us and others standing no chance to quickly run to the front embarking point. Ok it might of been a school boy error on our way out we noted a small sign boarding pointing to the separate walkway , Ho well We then went across the bridge to the other pier and headed west instead. So after the slight hiccup, the staff on the boats are helpful , we took coffee and a cookie during our journey up to Battersea then with disembarking went the full run to Barking riverside. Of note there’s some top views to be obtained , more so at high tide the day we went. It’s of note we boarded at 11:45 and got off at 15:30 so to do what we did it’s a fairly long ride out, but it passes by quick. It’s certainly recommended but now I know from the mistake I shall do the full run Putney to Barking riverside next time. Boats have covered seating and a small selection outside covered canopy at the rear
Purchased the all day, hop on hop off ticket. Excellent value for money, we got on at Embankment, went along to Battersea then all the way to Greenwich and back Al in al around 3hours. We also used it later in the day to return from Canary Wharf after our show.
The benefit of travelling by the river, from A-B, taking in all the main venues of London is no traffic jams, no hot buses or underground and the piers are within easy walking distance! I did find out that my day tickets, as freedom pass holder, would have been a lot cheaper had I booked direct with Uber, but it was still cheaper than travelling on the tour boats
We boarded at Waterloo and missed the 1110 by seconds but were told the next one was in 20 minutes. We actually waited for 40 minutes and boat was very busy. Windows were dirty and there was no seated or standing room on the outside deck. We were told by staff that the boat didn’t return to waterloo so we needed to change at Embankment. There a member of staff be would have to wait in a massive queue to go back one stop, cross the river by bridge, then queue again to get back to Waterloo. We gave up and returned by underground. The Uber boy at Embankment also used to accept our ticket even although it was scanned without a problem when we embarked. We had hoped to travel East too but had to cut our journey short due to being misdirected by various members of staff. Not a disaster but a bit of a mixed bag.
We have done the river cruise earlier and uber boat is not a match of it. Very less space on deck and it’s suffocating inside.
Used the uber boat by Thames clippers - great way to travel - big thank you to Norman at Greenwich who welcomed and explained things to us - definitely recommend
Really enjoyable way to get around London. The day pass made it easy to hop on and off without stress. Staff were welcoming and kept things moving smoothly. Clean boats and a relaxed vibe throughout.
I was a bit unsure about this because I'm in a wheelchair, but there was absolutely no problems. There were a few stops that were not accessible but the staff were very quick to find the nearest accessible stop and explained the route we could take to get to our destination. They even suggested extra things to see/do in the areas. It is a great and easy way to get around London and a wheelchair is no problem.
Great way to get down River. David N. At the London eye dock was super friendly and had lots of fun facts while we waited.
When we went to Blackfrairs Pier on Tuesday July 14th, we saw the boat coming and rushed as quickly as possible so we don’t miss the boat, and when we were trying to tap in. One of the staff said “Hurry up” or something in a very rude tone. Then as we were riding the boat, when the boat was turing around they made us tap out/in again! After that we rode the boat to North Greenwich. We got off and went back to our stay. We found out that we got charged twice! (me, a teen) got Charged £11 “TWICE”!. While the (adults) got charged £20 “TWICE”! . And it said that we didn’t “touch out” even though we did! The staff were very rude and while they were speaking, we could barely understand what they were saying! I rode Uber boat multiple times and never had a bad experience like this one! I would not recommend riding Uber boat unless, you want to get charged twice! I will probably Never ride uber boat again!!
This is a must do, easy to navigate and great value for your money. I will do it again if the opportunity arises.
The boats are packed, it's difficult to get on them in fact so you end up waiting for a boat for a long time. You can't really see anything from the boat since the windows are dirty and there's no open air seating. All the toilets were out of order and the boat smelt of sewage the entire time. Would not recommend.
It was the most amazing and cost efficient tour you definitely need to add this to your itinerary for travelling and transfers all over London via Thames River so its the best experience wallahi ❤️ if this helps you guys definitely need thisssss
A bad experience. Our two first journeys were great. Our third journey was bad. The staff on board closed the boat gate in front of us while asking us where we wanted to go!!! The man was slightly aggressive and totally unprofessional. Our fourth journey could not take place as the boat was too crowded. Probably best to avoid the Uber Boats by Thames Clippers on the weekend.
Much nicer than the bus on a hot day. Comfortable seats, tea, nice views
Great trip on a beautiful boat. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a drink onboard and the views were amazing. We’ll do this again.
We took the Uber Boat by Thames Clippers from Chelsea Harbour and it was such a lovely, smooth journey. It’s a beautiful way to see London from the river — passing Battersea, the London Eye, Tower Bridge and The Shard along the way. Relaxed, scenic, and a much nicer pace than travelling by road.
What an excellent day. so easy to use , gets to see all the sights, and even went through the Thames Barrier. We almost managed two whole round trips. We started at the London eye, and went all the way to Barking Riverside, stayed on and then went all the way to Putney. From Putney back to Greenwich. Greenwich to Battersea, and finished the day from Battersea to Blackfriars.
Disappointed that on a beautiful day there was no open deck. Even the small open rear deck had an overhanging roof and the seats (of which there were few) would be better facing the rear, where the views are rather than the blank wall in front. Also, although we were 5th and 6th in the queue to board, a school party of around 30 arrived after us and were let on first. We were lucky as we were the last two let on, but those in 7th place or later behind us were not allowed to board as the boat was full.
Every was so smooth booking and check ins. Definitely coming back again with friends again. Staff was so helpful and friendly too.
A wonderful experience, offering a very historic and beautiful view of London. It was a unique experience that everyone should do.
That’s an amazing experience for who wants to explore London faster and with a very beautiful views! They has the stop pier in all the main tourist points! Super value for the money! Doing it again for sure!!
Great boat ride up and down the Thames with drinks and food available. Thoroughly enjoyed the humorous commentary!
Once it was evening, the boats and staff at the piers dry up. The app is next to useless. The staff on the boats are too busy, trying to load you up, to help you. Boats didn’t come, then a boat slowed down to shout they’re full and cant stop. Then they don’t stop at every dock anymore. If you’re ready to get stuck in the wrong part of London and then ,get an actual Uber, to get back to your original location. Then go for it.
In response to a Facebook offer of half price boat tickets for June I booked 4 concession tickets for me, my wife and 2 friends. All of us are over 70.We boarded the boat at Barking Riverside and got off at Tower Millennium pier for lunch. On returning to Tower Millennium pier we were told we could not board the Uber boat as we did not have Freedom passes or 60+ Oyster cards to support our concessionary Uber tickets. The advert had no mention that these would be required. Consequently 4 people aged over 70 years of age , (one of whom has COPD) were left stranded in London on one of the hottest days of the year and had to struggle to find their way home by train. Nowhere on the Facebook offer did it state that a Freedom pass of 60+ Oyster card is required.
An exceptional journey through the heart of London Having taken the Uber Boat along the Thames, I can confidently say it is one of the finest ways to experience the city. Landmarks that are familiar from street level — St. Paul's Cathedral, Tower Bridge, the London Eye, and the Houses of Parliament — take on a completely different character when seen from the water, making for a genuinely memorable journey. The service itself is efficient and well-organised, with clearly signed piers and a straightforward boarding process. The hop-on hop-off format gives you genuine flexibility to structure your day around the sights that interest you most, without feeling rushed or tied to a rigid itinerary. Whether you are visiting London for the first time or returning to rediscover the city, this is an experience I would recommend without hesitation.
One of the most enjoyable ways to see London. Travelling on the Thames offers a completely different perspective of the city, with beautiful views of some of London’s most iconic landmarks along the route. The journey was fast, comfortable, and incredibly convenient. Instead of dealing with busy roads and traffic, I was able to sit back, enjoy a coffee, and take in the architecture and scenery from the water. The boats were clean, well-maintained, and the overall experience was smooth from start to finish. Whether you’re visiting London or have lived here for years, I would highly recommend experiencing the city from the Thames.
Amazing, we had so much fun and the view is so beautiful!!!
A fantastic way to experience London! We boarded the Uber Boat by Thames Clippers at Chelsea Harbour and cruised along the Thames to Tower Pier in about an hour. Seeing the city from the river was truly magical, with incredible views of iconic landmarks including the London Eye, Big Ben, London Bridge, and Tower Bridge. It was comfortable, relaxing, and offered a completely different perspective of the city. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting London-it's more than just transport; it's a wonderful experience!!
A fantastic way to see London from a different perspective! The Uber Boat was comfortable, clean, and easy to use. The views of the city along the Thames were absolutely beautiful, especially passing landmarks like Tower Bridge and the London Eye. It felt like a sightseeing cruise for the price of regular transport. Highly recommended for both tourists and locals!
It was so fun to hop and off at any time from different locations, being on the boat gave us the oppptiunity to see london from different perspective xx
False advertising. They claim “stunning views, fresh air, café bar” - all a lie. They’re still running boats from the early 90s - cramped, uncomfortable, rough, zero visibility, and a broken toilet to boot. A horrible hour for my disabled father. Not only was it a waste of £40, it took a physical toll on him, affecting the rest of his day. It felt like paying for BA and getting an experience worse than Ryanair. Incredibly disappointed.
What a perfect day, there couldn’t be a better way to move around London!!!! Hop on, hop off all day with amazing views of London that you can only get through being on a boat, plus snacks and soft drinks on board 🤭😍 Such a smooth and scenic way to explore London, I highly recommend this to everyone!!!!
Using the Uber Boat was a great way for us to get around London and see the sites from the river. It was easy to utilize and allowed us to relax between the sites that we wanted to see.
Absolutely fantastic in every way!! From the moment we boarded, everything was efficient and well-organised. The boat was clean, comfortable and the views…. stunning … there’s no better way to see London’s iconic landmarks along the Thames. We travelled with a group of exchange students from Westminster to Greenwich North stopping along the way and enjoyed the whole experience including the hop offs and ons!!! The crew were friendly, professional and happy to help with any questions. The journey was relaxing and felt like a sightseeing tour combined with practical transport. Avoiding the underground and travelling by river made the whole experience far more enjoyable.
An absolutely brilliant experience! The Uber Boat is honestly the best and most enjoyable way to get around London. Instead of a stuffy tube or sitting in traffic, you’re out on the river enjoying fantastic views of the city. The boats are spotless, modern, and very spacious, and there's even a little bar on board to grab a coffee or a snack. The journey was smooth, quick, and highly scenic. A proper treat and thoroughly recommended!
