We enjoyed the small group vibe of our tour. Just beware the pubs you visit may be very crowded and busy. Something I was not expecting. The pubs we visited were amazing and Robert our guide was very informative and helpful. If you can stand large crowds then I would recommend this tour.

Fun trip through 4 pubs. Gotta drink fast as between walking/talking you usually have about 20 minutes to get a beer check out the pub and down said beer. The trip was good fun.

Becky did an amazing job talking about the history of the City of London and specifically the history of Pubs and Gin Palaces in London. The highlight of the tour was the oldest pub in London, the Cheshire Cheese, but Ye Old Cock and the Black Friar were also amazing. I would highly recommend Becky for this tour!!

We had a great time with Sandra going pub to pub. Learning a bit of history about each pub as well as Pub culture in general. It's a nice way to spend an afternoon.
Our group expected a more detailed and thorough explanation of a variety of historic pubs. We saw four instead of five. Our guide was busy with quite a few people going from table. It appears that nothing was ready for us as we got to each pub. There were no chairs set aside or no one to greet us which made the experience a bit chaotic. We would like to have established some camaraderie with our tour group at some point visiting the four pubs, but that did not happen.

This was the best tour I've ever experienced. The selection of pubs was great but our tour guide, Dion, provided an amazing and unforgettable tour. I can't imagine there's anyone in all of London that could possibly conduct this tour better than her. Dion is so likeable and kinetic that the tour felt like being in pubs with an old friend. She's extremely knowledgeable on the history of the pubs and the interesting landmarks along the routes. Dion isn't reading a script. She hasn't memorized lines. Rather, she has a deep passion for the history of London and she brings that energy to the tour. As we sat at tables enjoying pints, Dion spent time getting to know each guest on the tour. Throughout the tour, she would query the group about various locations and landmarks along the route, engaging with everyone and making the tour very interactive. Every pub on our tour was great but my favorite pub was Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese which has so much history.
Our guide was the sweetest, her name is Sandra. I learned a lot of general facts about the area but also a lot of fun facts. She answered all of our questions and we had the best time!
We took this tour with Phillipe who was amazing! His knowledge of the pubs we visited, as well as the history of pubs throughout England was incredibly thorough, and he sprinkled the tour with amusing anecdotes throughout. The small group nature of this tour allowed for each stop to feel like an intimate stop with friends over a pint, and Phillipe's stewardship made it all the better. HIGHLY recommend booking this tour, and if you're lucky you'll also benefit from Phillipe's expertise as well!
