London Witches And History Walking Tour

We had a wonderful time on this tour! Victoria was knowledgeable, engaging, and made the history of witches in London fascinating. We learned so many interesting stories and historical details along the way and had some good laughs. It was a great experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting London.

A fantastic tour which I would highly recommend. Guide gave an interesting and fun tour and was very friendly. The tour took around 1 hr 10 mins in total, which was great.

We were unsure if we were in the right place when Gary the Grey appeared in his pointy hat and cloak, that confirmed we were at the meeting point. We were all unfamiliar with the Southwark area and the tales and view points were really interesting. We could hear Gary clearly in spite of it being fairly busy in the area his delivery was interesting and fun. It was a very good tour.

It was a very interesting and informative tour. Our guide was lively, well informed, and she shared a lot of historical details.

Veronica, our guide, was fabulously captivating from start to finish. My daughter absolutely adored her, and it was easy to see why - she told every story with so much warmth, humour and affection. As Londoners, we loved that the stories felt fresh and unique. We heard so many tales we had never come across before, which made the tour feel genuinely special rather than like the usual London history repeated again. One of our favourite little extras was spotting Ben Wilson, the “Chewing Gum Man”, at work on Millennium Bridge and then seeing Veronica’s own custom piece that he had designed for her. As my 14-year-old put it, it was “such a flex!” We absolutely loved spending a spellbinding afternoon wandering the city, hearing about its witchy, strange and fascinating past. Veronica brought everything to life beautifully and made the whole experience feel fun, personal and memorable. A fantastic tour that I’d happily recommend - even if you think you already know London well, I can almost guarantee you’ll learn something new. 🧙‍♀️✨

100% reccommend that you do this tour. Wonderful time learning about the history of Witches in London, told with respect, honest, and humour. Our guide, Beatrix (Hope I spelled that correctly) was a font of knowlegde, humoir and energy, and was the friendliest guide possible. The stories were fascinating, and unreal, and the walk through London was spectacular. Book this if you can, and if you get Beatrix as your guide, count yourself lucky.

We had a great time with the Witches and History Walking Tour. Our Guide was positively enchanting (hehe) and the rather small size of the group, made for a fun and personal feeling experience. Would've liked it to go on for a little longer. I would highly recommend it!

super informative and historical tour that included a lot of witch history from londons past. we didn’t actually go too far, but we heard interesting stories at each location we stopped at. felix was super funny, entertaining, and knowledgeable! would definitely recommend especially for anyone who likes history, witches, and comedy combined

Veronica (our tour guide) was brilliant, she was very enthusiastic and she really made the information come alive with stories and (terrible) jokes, she was welcoming and included everyone in discussions abd qyestions. We did the Witch Tour with Veronica and she was amazing! Very funny and knowledgeable. She made a point of learning all our names and interacted with us all during the walk. I would highly recommend this experience.

Wrap up warm if going during the winter months and be prepared to walk a lot! This experience was worth every penny. History mixed with giggles from our wonderful witch Veronica.

Wonderful walking tour from Southwark to St. Paul's that covered some of the curious and grisly witchy history of the area. Our guide was delightful and well-versed in the chosen spots and stories, and the group was a lovely, manageable size. A fantastic way to explore a part of London I hadn't spent much time in!

We really enjoyed this tour. Gary the grey was friendly, knowledgeable & entertaining without being OTT. He told us about the history of the area as well as stories about specific witches and the awful of women & men of the time who just didn’t fit in. We saw a really interesting part of London we wouldn’t of explored otherwise Lots of photo opportunities especially finishing near the river close to Saint Paul’s It was also at a convenient time and length

Garrick, Gary the Gray is a wonderful guide. The walking tour was awesome. We participated on Halloween night and it was the best Halloween spooky experience. And so much history of the 300 years of tragic witch-hunting And cruelty.

We did the tour last night on Halloween and it did not disappoint! Even though there were intervals of downpour it didn’t hinder our experience. Gary the Witch was amazing and we learnt so many new interesting facts, I would definitely recommend this tour!

My visiting cousin and I came up to London for the day and pre booked this tour. We were not disappointed. Beatrix was a wonderful , knowledgeable guide who engaged us throughout.

Our tour was great! Beatrix was so engaging and was very knowledgeable. I loved the history mixed with witches, Harry Potter and other general London facts. Great way to spend an hour along the Thames!

The experience was excellent but the ticket did not give a very good location to meet the leader. I did not know where the meeting point was and neither did the four people I asked to direct me. There should be more detail on the meeting point location.

We went for the witch tour with Beatrix and had a great time, she was very engaging and in character throughout the whole tour and was knowledgeable. Even though it was only 2 of us, she still kept in character and gave us the best performance while being informative, the tour is interesting and done at a good pace We would definitely recommend going with Beatrix for this tour!

A fabulous walking tour led by Felix for myself and a number of other Witchlets. Although I've known the Bankside area for years, I learnt lots of new historical moments and saw artifacts that I'd never noticed before, including a part of the original London Bridge. Veronica is such a wee gem 💜 she didn't let the small group discourage her and treated us as her little coven, had the absolute best (or worst?) puns coming one after the other and was genuinely knowledgeable.
