Good tour, but probably better to get the hop on / hop off for the price differential. We did the red route which captures most. There is a lot of waiting at bus stops. Be careful to know which bus to get on, they are all so similar. Ticket should include better instructions / list of stops.

I had been on a hop on hop off bus before with a person telling u where to look and about the establishment, this tour u had headphone with a women talking with no direction where to look I spent a lot of time looking left then right and still did not see what I was looking at very disappointed
Do not use viator or book with this it is horrible and not clear pick up point at all and I cannot access these tickets. Terrible experience.
Be prepared for drivers who do not stop or slowdown. That was rough when we had places we wanted to go. However, for the most part, the drivers were great. In addition to this, there is no control for your company but the tourists riding the bus were rude. By rude, I mean people would literally run you over to get a seat on top of the bus.
We were told to get bus at any hop on hop off. Every 15 -20 minutes. We got to the bus stops that say hop on hop off , but the bus line used by Viator was not picking up at this stop. Which we found out by another bus company. Then I called the number for help and was told he didn't know the schedule or where to go to catch bus, but we just had to wait. In the mean time Big Red Bus went by, Original bus company went by. We ended up just buying other tickets. Not a good experience. By the way I had confirmed where to go and what time the night before when I booked and was on the chat with a representative to make sure I had all the information that I found out day of my trip was not true. Have used Viator before, never have had a problem. This was a big problem and very disappointing.
We went to the St. Pancras station to catch the Hop On Bus only to find out they had cancelled that stop. We texted them and asked for a refund and were denied. This was not our fault they had cancelled that stop but now we’re out $348.10
The guy in front of the entrance of the Tower of London, sold us ticket at 5:00 pm, and buses did not pass after 5. We only used the cruise on the river
Do NOT choose this bus. We waited forever at every stop while we watched the other bus companies stop by several times. HIGHLY recommend the Big Bus company because those busses were always moving. Such a scam!!!!!
This is the most disorganized & repulsive company I have ever dealt with. In addition the employees are uninformative & Rude.
It was confusing at first to know which bus to get on and where to catch the buses. Stops were not announced or marked. There was also a protest on today so difficult to get buses moving. We had to end up booking Uber to get is to where we wanted to go....disappointed.
Was hard to find the first pickup point after signing up. Pros. On off buses are a great way to get the lay of the land. And look and see the sculptures on the roofline. Do a full loop before getting off later. Cons. There is 5 hop on hop off bus lines. Should be just one busline and able to get on every 5 minutes. Way too much pollution. About 20 cars worth of smog per bus. Dont sit in the back on top or you will smell the smog. Reminds me of when the streets were flooded with electric bikes. And they ended up in the river. I signed up for 48 hrs. But the buses stop around 6 or 7PM and it isn't advertised anywhere. So you might get stranded. Then they try and sell you a night cruise on same buses
This tour was a complete waste of money. Very disappointing .The drivers rushed through the sites. The intercom system was only working in some of the buses. The tour finished very early. Should have a got an ordinary city London bus. This is not a proper London sightseeing tour. The big bus company is much better. Very disappointed overall.
5 star the hop On and off bus stopped at all the places u would want it to and there was plenty of stops to get on and off the staff were very friendly and the tour was good but was a little expensive at £40 per person
Probably the worst hop-on hop-off service there is. Choose another one with more buses — we waited 50 minutes and had to get off in the middle of the route, somewhere we didn’t want to be.
Happy experience highly recommended to all My friends and relatives of our Hop On Hop off tour of London
It was OK when we actually found the beginning of the route and the bus . The routes never stated where started or where they stopped
Be careful before booking one line. I did not know that several companies offer the hop-on-off service. Apparently, this company bus didn't go close to my hotel, and I waited at the stop until another driver told me that this company was not stopping where I was standing. Sadly, I did not see the company bus or ticket sellers all day. I saw my maps so that I could catch it either. Very disappointed, it was too elusive to find. So my rating of them is based on this fact: I did not see anyone representing them as I saw other carriers. I was so frustrated by the experience that I asked for a full refund. Hopefully it will be given. I purchased the ticket via TripAdvisor. Never again!
Because did not have scan code missed bus and had to call for it. However did get through and all was resolved. Very nice customer service.
Enjoyed a nice scenic ride through London today, and the weather mostly cooperated. The driver maneuvered on several detours, and kept pace . Audio could be improved, but was as good as other operators we’ve experienced. My only negative was a lack of signage at stops with regard to the number of the stop. This lead us to missing our first attempt to catch a bus. Overall I recommend this activity especially when arriving in London.
It's a great way to explore the city, if you're limited on time. We did the route on the bus, then decided where to hop off and on again, the 2nd time around.
Roads blocked due to protest. Never received email for QR code.Staff at bus stop assisted us saying cancel for full refund, as this was within a 10 minute booking window, and not advertised, still waiting 24 hrs later !!!!!
Great tour for first time wisitors to London. Three lines (red, blue and green), many stops, good information. Great boat tour.
Very confusing and disorganized hop on bus service. The confirmation i got when i booked it didn't have any instructions for catching the bus. We walked around asking until we figured out how it works. They should provide better instructions on how to catch the bus or at least a map.
Not impressed. The selected (unavoidable) routes through central London mean that you will spend a lot of time sitting in standstill traffic. The included commentary is stupid, childish and does not inform you about much of anything.
Very worthwhile experience let's you see many sights although briefly unless getting off the bus. Saw many landmarks and took the cruise which was good from a different perspective
One of the best trips I've had in a long time. Buses were timely and on spot! Covered most of the landmarks in London city and along the banks of Thames for a fair price considering the fact that I didn't even have to pay for my 2 under 5 kids. I would highly recommend the city sightseeing hop-on hop-off bus and looking forward to having more experiences with them.
The bus is a great way to see all the top attractions in a shorter period of time. I like that you can pick and choose where to hop off and spend time and the busses run frequently enough you don’t have to wait long when you’re ready to move on. The recording is very informative.
We booked this attraction through Booking.com, and I was extremely frustrated with the tour due to several issues. First, the information about the starting point was completely wrong. The description listed Grosvenor Gardens (Stop Z4) as the stop, but that was not accurate. The location given in the message was also incorrect, and as a result, I spent over 40 minutes searching for the correct bus stop, which, by the way, was on the opposite side of the square. In the end, I was only able to catch the bus by luck, at a traffic light. To make matters worse, the seats on the open top deck were still wet, even though the rain had stopped a long time ago. It was obvious that no one had bothered to clean them. This level of carelessness was incredibly disappointing.
Paid for a 48 Hour Bus tour plus the Thames River Cruise. When I tried to hop in the bus, the Tripadvisor showed my trip as "Passed". I contacted customer support, they provided a second barcode that didn't work. The very rude Operator didn't allowed us in the bus. Tripadvisor denied my a refund! I had to appeal to American Express to finally get my money back!
After being dropped off for a visit at St Paul’s Cathedral there was a road closure so bus routes were changed . No agent was there to redirect, so we ended up walking to the next pick up which was the London bridge by following traffic . There was no response when I tried reaching the operator . It was FRUSTRATING and EXHAUSTING. After finally making it to the next stop the bus driver was very sympathetic though .
It would be nice to have better location info about where the stops are located. We ended up at a stop that wasn’t on the City Sightseeing circuit and didn’t figure out for 20 minutes that our stop was around the corner. That was frustrating.
This is a great way to see the city when you are there for a day. Drivers were very helpful. The Thames River portion was excellent.
This was a waste of money. There are multiple hop on hop off buses in london. Other companies are running multiple buses continuously that actually make stops at the "highlights". This bus company had minimal buses running. You would be waiting at least 20-30 mins for a bus as multiple other companies had 2-3 pass during your wait time. It makes useless stops, not near anything so just slows the time before you make your desired destination. After being on the bus for an hour and a half, we weren't even half way through the route. we ended up getting off the bus and taking a taxi as we were going to miss our entry time for the tower of London. I would NEVER recommend it. It would cost you less and you would move around the city quicker with utilizing other hop on hop off bus companies or even the tube or taxis! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
The website needs to be more clear on what bus name to look for. We could not get through to the operator by phone to inquire. Thankfully bus drivers and staff at Victoria Station stop were very helpful. Then tour was somewhat informative with the audio commentary. The River Cruise portion was the best part !
Great option for short trips if you want to see the main attractions! Highly recommend it if you visit London!
Friendly drivers and great stops. Buses were clean. Mounds of disposable headphones to listen to tour, and useful maps.
Great Experience for family. We took this bus with our children and we really enjoyed, we definatelly recomend! Marta .
We decided to take this service because of the high frequency of buses it has and the routes that cover the all city, the kids had a great time!
Much confusion about the tickets. Viator provided barcode, Hop on /off wants QR code. Did not get full benefit of this purchase don’t buy bus tix from Viator
The app and email would not provide the QR code required to board the bus. Several attempts to the customer service and other portals for assistance went unanswered. We were not able to get on the bus at all, and therefore am completely dissatisfied with our experience.
When we went for our tour the barcode would not read properly. So we did not get any tickets to get on and off, stayed on bus as we did not want an issue as no one knew anything on how to fix this. Tried sending a message to Viator even prior to this happening regarding a question we had and no reply. Last time i will use Vistor. Used it when we went up New York and worked great but London was not organized at all
Seeing all the popular sights on our first day of our vacation was great. Excellent informational narrative while on the bus. Loved picking up the river Thames boat by Big Ben at Westminster pier. All in all a wonderful experience,
It was really a lot of fun. All in all, recommended. Unfortunately, it was the Trouping the Color weekend. That means buses were completely overloaded on Saturday. They arrived late or were fully occupied. Good that a bus driver from another line rescued me 🤭 thank you Mr. Frank Tumpo !!!
It took a while to find where we needed to be for the boat trip. Also find out how it worked with the buses and the different routes
Too bad you don't provide the available bus stops and their exact location, we've wasted a lot of time finding them ,as well as the passage times.... Otherwise interesting route to see the iconic monuments of London
Perfect option if you go just in time to visit the most emblematic sites of the city. Super fast and intuitive to book and great to be able to get off and get on at any of the stops according to your interest.
Grand tour of the city full flexibility to get off at stops and back on at any time. Recommended
It was a different and very nice experience. The amazing views from the bus and the very interesting tour! Recommended 100% to get to know the whole history of London.
Great service to get to know the most important areas of London in a short time and to know the history and details of all the places thanks to the audio guide, available in several languages. 100% recommended.
Excellent tour. All very easy to hire. Very clear explanations of all the emblematic places of the city and stops at the most important points. I would definitely recommend it.
