A great experience. First time at this Theatre which has character. The show was great with a good story line and appropraite mixture of dialogue and musical content. Multiple scene changes worked well.

This was a very sweet musical. Its target audience is clearly for children and family's, with big easy-to-understand jokes and strong themes of friendship and found-family. I found a few of the songs were quite good and catchy. There was some more subtle jokes and also some adult humour to keep everyone amused. The sets seemed simple but they used it well at times. The bear costume is fantastic and very clever. The villain was okay, they had a good song but maybe could have made them even more villainous. The musical is also good for tourists as it plays on classic British stereotypes, though these may get a bit old or cheesy if you are British. Side note, my program that I bought was damaged inside but the theatre was happy to replace it and offered a free postcard as well which was a nice touch. Tip: If an adult, I recommend seeing this and then going to see beetlejuice west end, the jokes cross over and make beetlejuice even funnier (I was dying of laughter ;)
This is the best West End musical I have seen. Hands down. Absolutely stellar cast. Each character had an amazing singing voice, the show just kept on giving. Everything deserves a mention from the set, costumes, lyrics, choreography...it was so much fun, I laughed, sang and whooped all the way through. Special shout out to last night's Mr. Curry. Hilarious.
Fantastic show, there were seven of us, (age between 13 to 70) and we all had a brilliant time! I would recommend this show to everyone.
Utterly brilliant show. Fantastic cast (the show I saw had the original cast). I cannot recommend this show enough if you love theatre. The reaction to Paddington when he first appeared during the show made me smile a huge smile with a roar of applause. Fabulous. Highly recommend. Carole : )
This was one of the best musicals have ever been to. There is literally nothing else to say except for the price it was 100% worth it : the 3hrs of awe, a bright atmosphere, massive, theatre and catchy songs made it amazing.
First we booked our tickets by us self. What can i say: it was 2,5 hours full time show and pure fun. Very good actors, very good music, nice story. Our show was the first with the new actors and in the row before us sat the crew who rote the songs and wrote the story. I congratulation Tom Flechter who sat in front of me and he was a very polite guy. over all : it was a great show. and i like to hear the songs on my iphone every day
Absolutely fantastic. Would like to see it again!
We got seats at bargain price in the dress circle and had amazing views of the stage. This show was excellent and there was so much laughter throughout this performance. There’s so many stand out characters. One of the best shows I’ve seen in a long time. I highly recommend it.
I've seen many musicals over the years, but this one was by far my favorite. From start to finish, it was an unforgettable experience. The audience laughed, cried, and even sang together, creating a truly special sense of connection and joy. The performances, music, and emotion were absolutely outstanding. Highly recommended!
Absolutely brilliant . What a show . Would so recommend anyone to go and see
Just got home from seeing this magnificent performance. Wow wow wow what amazing show 10/10 and as for Paddington I wanted to bring him home …. so cute
Wonderful little musical. Really good fun for all the family, young and old alike. Highly recommend
Absolutely incredible show, so life affirming, charming, funny, and heart-warming. I laughed and cried and had the best time. The cast are outstanding, truly everyone on stage adds something special to their role. The sets, lighting, and music are wonderful. I've seen a lot of theater and this show is special!
Fantastic show with a real good feel factor. We both walked out with a smile on our faces 😊.
Firstly, I would like to say that the show itself was amazing. Paddington was absolutely adorable, and all of the actors were fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed the production itself. The reason for our low score was entirely due to the experience we had with the Savoy Theatre staff and, in particular, the after-sales service we received following our visit. We had a young couple seated directly in front of us who behaved in a manner that was extremely disruptive throughout the performance. They talked constantly, repeatedly moved around in their seats, appeared to show signs of being intoxicated, and were inconsiderate of those around them. The lady seated next to us was visiting from Germany specifically to see Paddington, which made it particularly disappointing that her experience was also affected. Our main concern, however, is not simply the behaviour of these two individuals, but how the situation was managed by the theatre. During the first act, we informed an usher about the disruption. We saw the usher speak to the couple, and we assumed the matter would be dealt with. Unfortunately, despite this intervention, their behaviour continued for the remainder of the performance. They appeared to ignore the usher's request to calm down, as well as requests from other audience members around them. What was particularly disappointing was that, having been made aware of the situation, the theatre did not appear to monitor it afterwards. The disruption continued for the rest of the performance and significantly affected not only our enjoyment but also that of other people seated nearby. In hindsight, I regret not leaving my seat to find a manager and raising the issue again. However, we had booked these tickets months in advance and were looking forward to the experience. It was extremely frustrating to have a performance we had been anticipating for so long significantly spoiled by two individuals whose behaviour, in our view, should have resulted in further intervention and potentially them being asked to leave. We were so disappointed with the way the situation was handled that we emailed the theatre once we arrived home to explain our experience and give the theatre an opportunity to address our concerns. Unfortunately, the response from Francesca, the Theatre Administrator, was another disappointment. We were told that “we have reviewed the information available to us” and that “we now consider this matter closed.” I found the tone of this response particularly disappointing. I was not expecting a generic dismissal of our concerns from what is regarded as a world-class West End theatre. We were not simply complaining about two badly behaved audience members; we were raising a concern about how a known and ongoing disruption was handled by the theatre and about the lack of meaningful follow-up afterwards. The production itself deserves enormous praise, but unfortunately our overall experience was let down by the theatre's handling of the situation and the subsequent response to our complaint. I hope the Savoy Theatre will take this feedback seriously, particularly regarding how staff monitor and respond to disruptive audience behaviour once a complaint has been made. A little more follow-up and consideration could have made a significant difference to our experience.
Wow this is an incredible show. I love theatre and have been to many shows of all types, but this is one of the best I’ve ever seen. Amazing cast, mind blowing sets and really enjoyable. Adults will enjoy it just as much as kids (in fact there were lots of adults without kids). Well done to the production team and cast. Also has a great message..
I've got to give incredible feedback and my thanks to the lovely member of staff that looked after me tonight 7th September when I took ill. I bought a coach of 46 people with the company Patchwork Tours.I'm sorry I didn't get her name. Beautiful black young girl who was also a first aider wearing glasses. She was incredible , caring , attentive and bent over backwards to help me. I was so thankful to her. The lady also came and checked on me in the interval while I was crying bless her heart. I'm so grateful to her for being so kind. I've seen the show 3 times and every time it gets more magical and special. Thank you
Omg - this show was amazing … I’m in my 60s and just loved it … I cried, I laughed, I watched with my jaw open … and I can’t wait to go again. I’ve just been having a cuppa in my Paddington mug with some toast with Paddington marmalade … go - you won’t be disappointed ❤️❤️❤️
Although I am in my early 60s , my wife and I enjoyed the Paddington films and this was a treat for her birthday. It was a superb show. Everything about it was so well done. The story line follows the film really well and the performances were too drawer. The idea of two people playing the part of Paddington simultaneously is very creative and takes some doing by those who took the parts. Even as a crusty old cynic I could not help but be fully engaged by the show it was so joyous and brilliantly done. There was a wide range of ages and everyone it seemed loved it. I would go again.
Absolutely joyous! Wonderful music, story and acting. We loved this family show & recommend everyone should go!
We absolutely live Paddington The Musical. My husband went under duress but thought it was brilliant too. Great seats. Friendly staff and a talking bear ! Magical
Not many theatres perform on a Sunday but Paddington did. What an amazing show. Enthralled from start to finish. Staff friendly and helpful. Two hours of pure entertainment. Booked tickets well in advance so not to pricey. Paid £58.00 for two tickets.
Went to watch the paddington show and have to say you won't find a better show anywhere it was unbelievable and it had everything you would expect from serious to comedy. Not many tickets around but well worth the effort and money. We would definitely go again if the chance arose.
The show was amazing, great singing, acting, audience participation, humour, it was a real feel good show with so much fun and talent.
Magical production which was captivating from the outset. Brilliant and talented cast, including one of the main leads who stood in at short notice and smashed it. Emotional and uplifting we all could not recommend more. The quality of production was excellent. First time in the Savoy Theatre which was lovely. One of the best shows I have seen which will take a lot to beat. Bravo.
Absolutely fantastic cast, music scenery. Totally amazing show. Would watch it again tomorrow. Highly recommend.
An absolutely fantastic musical for all ages. We took our grandkids, ages 6, 10 & 13 and they all loved it, as did my wife & I. The kids were mesmerised & thought Bonnie Langford was brilliant. Indeed, the whole cast were excellent. What an enjoyable show- the kids are still talking about it with excitement, a week after we saw it.
Amazing show really enjoyed it from start to finish. Would recommend for young and old. Bonnie Langford was very good as were all the cast. A must see, 100% recommend!
Having grown up reading The Adventures of Paddington Bear & as a huge fan of musicals & live theater, Paddington was on my list of shows to see while I was in London (July 25-29, 2026). I was fortunate to find a single ticket for myself to see the show on July 25th in row U/seat 8 of the stalls (orchestra level). The show did not disappoint. All of the cast, the music, sets & story were just top caliber. If you are a fan of musicals, live theater & Paddington Bear, you will not be disappointed.
Incredible!!! Absolutely amazing!!!!
Absolutely fabulous. Such fun. The lunch box addition was well worth it. Great for all ages. I'm in 60's and took no children with me. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff were great. Ice cream delivered to seat. Wonderful Wonderful..
I went to see this West End show and just man it was good! It is great for families who are looking for something adventurous funny and really fun. I really recommend it. It is a West End must see.
Really loved this show! I know the ticket prices are a little high but I felt overall it was worth it. There are a number of great songs and routines, the Caribbean style London one and Marmalade come to mind and the cast quality was excellent. I personally found it to be a good length and the jokes were well pitched so adults and children can access the appropriate ones! (I have just for fun read the negative reviews and people being critical of the plot have clearly never seen the film on which the how is based, we were also surrounded by children none of which cried?!) My only negative comment is that one woman filmed the whole of the last song and ovations, etc and a steward stood right next to her row and did nothing to stop it, as she was holding her phone over her head this impacted many behind her, the steward should have intervened. Also please stop selling crisps and popcorn in theatres. The whole of the first half I had a person behind me making so much noise as they made their way through a bucket, this is not the cinema, three tickets are £750 to this show and with every crunch and rattle I wanted to start a fight. Theatres and theatre goers need to do better with this.
What can I say this show was absolutely amazing the cast was fantastic the stage and lighting was perfect. The theatre itself was clean tidy and nice and cool on a hot summers evening
Oh wow!! What an amazing show at the Savoy. We booked the Little Dessert Package which was a little expensive but we thought it’s a one off. Once at the Savoy Theatre we were shown up to our VIP lounge where we were welcomed and given our little box. Inside these we had a tin of crisps, a donut ( red for the hat and blue for coat) and a marmalade sandwich. We could have hot chocolate a cold drink. 5minutes before the show was starting we were taking down to the theatre and made our way to our seats. Also at interval time we went back up to our lounge . There wasn’t a child in here at all so it is a show for everyone and shows how young at heart we are!! The show was amazing and as soon as Paddington came on to the stage I felt overwhelmed!! The actors are incredible, making the show even better. I had tears, laughter, singing along and cheering all the way through this show . We were buzzing by the end of it. Thankyou to you all for making our experience so fabulous 🌟
Paddington is barely in it until after the interval. Too much over the top, amateur dramatic style singing. The songs were average. The jokes banal, this is for kids but most the audience were 50 plus . Stage setting pretty good. It's been vastly overrated. The Musical drama just hasn't involved or moved on in 50 years . TV and film have.
What a lovely show! Funny, moving, has everything. Great tunes, dancing and Bonnie Langford was a delight. Will definitely go again! 🐻😃
Brilliant Paddington. Laughed, cried, cheered and clapped all the way through. Bonnie Langford as Mrs Bird is fantastic and after Paddington does quite literally steel the show.
We took our sons to the relaxed performance and it was a wonderful evening. The cast were amazing and we loved everything about it from beginning to end. Would really recommend the relaxed performance - great atmosphere and the volume, bangs etc were at a perfect level. There is something so special about a theatre full of adults and children who are just being allowed to be themselves and enjoy a wonderful performance in their own way. As Paddington says, it’s ok to be different. Thank you for a wonderful evening Paddington cast and the Savoy Theatre!
Please do not dismiss this as being a "kids" musical as it most definiately is not. It is up there as being one of the best feel good shows Ive seen in ages. Its funny, its sad, its fabulous. Dont quite agree on the childrens age policy as its a long show, there is some adult humour, there are lots of pitch black moment, loud bangs etc so think long and hard before taking a little one. We had seats in the stalls on the end on the right hand side - occasionally we had to strain to see the stage - maybe middle of the row is better? If you want to see this book quickly - we waited nine months for our turn!! Its not a big theatre either.
3 of us went to see Paddington it was a Christmas gift for me. Absolutely amazing from start to finish. The music the acting the script all excellent. The way its all put together is great especially the voice of Paddington . The expressions on the bears face are just lovely you wont to take him home with you. Its well the money. The audience was mainly adults I have seen alot of shows and this is definitely one of the best would go again. The shop is very expensive but thats to be expected I suppose.
I have been wanting to see Paddington the Musical since it opened but always found the tickets a little bit out of budget. However upon looking at TodayTix, I discovered a last minute ticket for Paddington for a Saturday matinee at a very good price and in row F of the stalls. I couldn’t let this opportunity pass me by so I bought the ticket and eventually arrived at the theatre just as the show was about to start due to travel disruptions. I can 100% hands down say that this show was worth every single penny I paid. I immediately welled up as soon as Paddington came on stage and the whole theatre was filled with gasps and awwwws when he appeared. This show is an absolute spectacle filled with catchy songs, an incredible cast and the most amazing set and stage I have ever seen. It had me laughing, crying and it just filled me with so much joy! The reviews and the awards won for this show are a clear indication of just how special it really is. I can see this show running for a very long time. RUN don’t walk to see Paddington the musical and that ever so loveable bear 🐻
We had the best time, loved it! Such a fun experience, the staging was awesome. The only thing we missed was the option of MARMALADE flavoured ice cream... They're missing a trick!
An absolute joy! From start to finish. Brilliant actors, music and setting. My son’s first experience of a musical and he just loved it. It’s suitable for any one of any age. Full of wonderfully touching moments and lots of laughs! We booked 6 months in advance and got fab seats in the stalls. Get there early. We arrived about 50 minutes before the show and it gave us just enough time to get snacks and use the loo (yes, there was huge loo queues at the interval but it’s an old small theatre with a sold out show so to be expected). We had a bag search, and I did have some M&Ms but she said as long as they didn’t have peanuts in then it was fine. If you are thinking about booking this do it now. It really is magical! Well done to everyone involved!
I'm not normally a fan of musicals...... ...... But it's not your normal musical. This is genuinely one of the best shows I have EVER seen. The set is excellent. The cast are excellent. The songs/narrative are so poignant. It's incredibly entertaining. We love the Paddington books and the films, and I was a bit sceptical about the stage show. But it's so cleverly done, and it really tugs the heart strings (we cried a lot, although the amount of prosecco consumed was probably partly responsible 😂) and it was just..... ✨ LOVELY ✨❤️ I'd LOVE to go see it again (and I very rarely say that!) DO IT!!!!!!!!
Smiled, laughed and cried from start to finish. The talent that is on that stage is unbelievable. I was a bit worried that it may be just aimed at children but there is so much adult humour hidden between the child friendly lines that makes it a show for all ages!
Without a doubt the best London musical . The humour , the music , the singalong ability , the silliness , the emotional pull , the beat itself .. what a triumph . This is London in all its glory . Seeing Paddington as an immigrant in the story and how the story evolves to accept him in London / the family was so powerful . I loved the way the incredible singer who sings for the bear comes on at the beginning in simple clothes , it’s all very considered … he looks like a traveller / immigrant . I loved ALL the songs . The baddies were brilliant . So funny . Just incredible . I think this will be running for many years and rightly so .
My Surprise Christmas present from my daughter. Superb. One of the best shows we’ve seen in a long time. Everyone should have a Paddington Bear ♥️ cuteness, humour, excellent music and songs, fabulous costumes. Totally recommend, and you don’t need a child to take as an excuse!
Yes you have to book well in advance. Yes it is possibly expensive. But yes it is in my opinion the best stage show/ musical ever! We booked five months ago and got 4th row stalls. Brilliant spot at a price but would do the same again. Looking around I am certain the viewing elsewhere would be very good too. Where we were we got slightly sprayed, confetti over us also. The show is great for all. Personally suggest from 7 ish and up to 99. Great music Tom. Brilliant acting. Other than Bonnie Langford you may never heard of these people. But everyone could be a star. So much fun, adult humour but only adults would get the nods on it. Honestly amazing show. So jealous of anyone going again. A must see. Enjoy
