London Small Group Tour Of Historical Pubs

We had a brilliant time on the historical pub tour with Chris! He shared loads of interesting facts about London’s history and took us to some lovely pubs along the way. Chris was a great guide, really knowledgeable and easy to listen to. We also had a lovely group, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend!

We have never experienced a pub tour before, so went with an open mind. From the start, our guide (Kevin) was welcoming and easy to talk to. In addition to the four very different pubs he took us to, we learnt quite alot about the areas surrounding the pubs and various landmarks along the way. Kevin was a good source of information and obviously enjoys sharing his knowledge. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon with a small group and a great great guide. Would highly recommend.

A lovely tour around the old city. Our guide Will was full of historical knowledge, entertaining stories and made it fun. It's a small group so it's very easy to hear at stops and space was reserved in each pub. The pub choices were great. Will's knowledge of what each offered was excellent and his recommendations were spot on!

Great afternoon spent being guided by Ricky and Diggity around some wonderful old London pubs! Lovely way to spend an afternoon lots of interesting bits of history along with some pints in some pubs which we would never have found! Our fav was the Cheshire Cheese and loved the Raspberry Beer.

Our tour guide Will not only entertained us and took us to brilliant places, you could tell that he really cares about the pubs and the people who own and work in them. We were in a group of lovely, interesting and fun people, especially our American drinking buddies. A great afternoon out with great people!

Really enjoyed this trip, the group size had 11 which was a good size, Chris Cheesman was the guide who was very knowledgable not just about the ale houses but London itself. We visited pubs we would not have located in our own and the history surrounding them was fascinating, even the recommendations on what to drink in each pub was good, definitely will do again in our next visit.

Tim was a very knowledgeable and engaging tour guide. He balanced the history of the area with his knowledge of pub/drinking history, and had some great recommendations at the pubs we visited. Would highly recommend for anyone keen to see a bit of ‘local’ London or who wants to learn a bit more about their city culture like we did!

There’s no food included other than small snacks, so definitely eat beforehand. One of the best parts of the experience was meeting wonderful people from different parts of the country. We shared laughs, raised our glasses, and made new friends as we cheered our way through the City of London and Westminster. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough! It was truly one of the highlights of our time in London. Amazing tour! Adam is the best tour guide. Lots of stories and history shared. And get to visit some super cool historic pubs. At each place you get to see a bit of the behind the scenes that you wouldn’t get to see or notice if you were on your own. Highly recommend!

Very interesting and fun tour of historic London and its pubs. Will was our delightful guide - lots of history tidbits of history. It was VERY wet but Will, and the drinks, helped to keep our spirits up. Recommend comfy shoes and good rain gear if the weather is bad.

My husband and I really enjoyed this tour. The four pubs we visited each had a unique history and charm. One of the pubs was a cocktail bar known for its gin, which I didn't expect, but loved! The guide was very knowledgeable, and I ended up buying his book at the end of our tour!
