London Sightseeing Tour: Guard Change With Tower Of London Option

Staff: Driver - Carlos Guide - Frank Length of Tour: 9 hours (including 1 hour lunch) Crowd Size: 18 The atmosphere was very relaxed and it was a really informational tour. Although I am not someone majorly interested in the history, Frank made it very easy to understand and very fun especially at the Tower of London and the whole Henry the 8ths "masculine" enhancements made to his armor. Both Frank and Carlos made the rides great. Especially with the constant construction going on doing our tour and delaying us.

Frank was so knowledgeable making this trip spectacular! He was very friendly, comical and was never pushy! A great tour guide! Carlos, our driver, took every turn with special caution. Bikes were blocking the street and he jumped out to clear them so he could get us by them. Overall: A+

Carlos(driver) and Frank(guide) make a great duo! Frank was an informative and friendly host. For those with an interest in history, the Royals, architecture, this tour guide can give riveting in depth insights. Even as a generalist in knowledge, I found his explanations engaging. Would recommend doing this tour early in your london trip so you have time to go back to places of interest to spend more time if desired.

We had a great day on our trip! It was so nice to have a guide taking care of all of the details. Our guide Frank was very knowledgeable and our driver Carlos was wonderful as well. Some in our group also appreciated having the bus so it was less walking.

Guide was great. Covering a lot of ground in a day without feeling rushed. Guides knowledge was first class.

Carol was an excellent guide. Only downside was the traffic that prevented us from getting to the changing if the guard in time to see it from a good location.

Unfortunately, there were conditions beyond the control of our guide. Such as we weren’t able to see Buckingham Palace or Westminster Abbey due to a half marathon in the area which closed off many of the streets. So instead of 2 hours at the Tower of London we spent four hours there, putting much strain on my back and feet. I wish Viator would have anticipated these conditions and had given us the opportunity to change our plans. Since we only had two days in London this was very disappointing. But our guide, John, improvised the best he could. He was great!

The guide was excellent. However we did not see the changing of the guard as was advertised. The tour was good and she had a lot of good information to share.

Our experience was great! What a way to see London sitting on a comfortable bus and making stops at key points. Our guide Peter was personable, informative and funny! It was a full day tour stopping at the changing of the guards, Westminster Abbey, Tower of London and a short cruise on the Thames. I would highly recommend it! Keep in mind, there still is a considerable amount of walking but doable.

Zozo and Hadar were great guides and driver

There is walking involved be ready… about 10,000 steps, aside from that the tour is amazing. Peter ( our guide ) was by far one of the most knowledgeable and intriguing people I have ever met. We greatly appreciated the one on one guide who showed to our son. Our son immensely enjoyed his day. We would all highly recommend this tour to any family. If you are able to request a guide I would also request Peter. It was made even more special as he and I are both veterans of our respective countries militaries. Cheers for the great day!

This was by far one of my favorite parts of the visit to London. Unfortunately me and my spouse arrived a little late to the check in location, but the staff at the station and Zozo our guide went above and beyond to ensure we met the rest of the team for the remainder of our tour. Zozo and Cowsihan were simply amazing! Very informative and Fun

Overall very informative, efficient, and very interesting. Driver Cows was safe and guide Zozo was with a lot of knowledge. Only draw back was truly they need to be more clear as to where the pick up location. However, good value for first visit to London.

Ben was the best tour guide! He was so lovely to all of the group, very knowledgeable, funny and made sure we were ok every step of the way and knew where he was going to be at all times. He is definitely an asset to your company!

Tour guide was really knowledgeable and friendly

We were in London for only 3 days and I searched for an all day all inclusive tour to see as much of the city as we could using a link for a discounted tour company through Costco. Our guide Frank and bus driver Leon were personable and informative. It was all well worth our time!

Frank was AWESOME!!!! He knows what he’s talking about and has a fantastic sense of humor. It was a long tour, but we were never bored! 10/10 recommend if you want to see most of the super cool parts of London in a day!!!!

Zozo our guode was beyond amaxing . Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable but a ton of fun as well. We tend to travel a lot and are often disappointed by tour guides. This was not the case today five stars all the way.

Church was great. River tour was a "check it off the list" item, good but not great. Crown Jewels was great, but everything else at that site was blah for me. You don't see the changing of the guard at the palace, only the guards leaving their barracks as they walk to the palace. Our guide was great, although a few people fat lost/left as the day went on.

Great day, Anna was entertaining and full of so much knowledge. We both loved this tour and highly recommend it. The Cream Tea add on was definately worth it as well!

The only reason I gave this a poor rating was at the time I booked I specifically said it MUST include the changing of the guard. The live agent doubled checked & said it definitely would be !!! I still questioned it because I thought it never occurred on weekends . He said it does only in summer months. So I went ahead & booked. I was VERY disappointed it did not! And was told it never does. I felt mislead. Plus I had to upgrade to full day excursion to fill in time. Other than the booking error we did enjoy the guided bus trip, St.Paul’s cathedral, Tower of London& the cruise. Our guide Carol was excellent. Very knowledgeable & entertaining. Richard our driver did a great job driving in the chaos.

You either get the Harrods or the Seine cruise but both even though your voucher states you participate in both. Very misleading. Also due to the extreme heat many of the activities either closed early or didn't operate

This is a fun packed day meeting early in the morning and canvassing across London . We finished the day with a ride on the London eye . Our guide Peter was phenomenal. He was so well versed on the history of each location . His approach to teach and engage us was wonderful. He truly knows his stuff . He made us forgot about the heat , yet still encouraged opportunities to get water to stay hydrated during the heat wave London was experiencing.

Great tour, we are amazed at how much we saw it just one day. We could spend several days inside the Tower of London,so much history.

The tour guide was great. It was a perfect way to see so many sights in one day. Wear good walking shoes and bring a water bottle.
