London Private Christmas Lights Taxi Tour With Pick Up

This is the 3rd time I've taken the Private Taxi Tour and it's the best way to see all the lights of Christmas in London! It's worth the price and you see everything & you learn so much from your very knowledgeable driver.

Gary was fantastic! I sent my family on this tour while they were visiting me in London and they were raving about it afterwards, but their highlight was how friendly and kind the driver was. We even forgot something in the cab and he went out of his was to return it to us the next day. This was the perfect experience for my family during the Christmas holidays!

Jaime brought us to all the spectacular Christmas lights with joy. He drove in the crowd with ease and explained all locations history stories.

Great communication, easy pick up. Steve was very knowledgeable and flexible, allowing us to get out where we wanted and stay in the car when things were too busy for our elderly parents. Highly recommend, thanks so much!

Stella was early to our appointment and showed us all the best Christmas light sights around London! She's super nice and knowledgeable about the area, and helped us take some great photos. The Christmas lights are so gorgeous and this experience lets you see them from the warm comfort of a car and you get some great family photos too!

London at Christmas… no city does it better! And thanks to Michael, our driver and tour guide, we had the chance to see some of the BEST Christmas Lights locations in London. Oxford Street, Bond Street, Leicester Square and many other wonderful stops were on our itinerary. Plenty of opportunities to take some great pictures thanks to Michael’s patience and outstanding parking skills! What a great tour! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

SCAM ALERT! Sent a small cab with fogged widows and no glass roof. The Ubers were nicer. Cancelled, and refused a refund.

Our guide Alan Oliver “Ollie” was waiting for us when walked out of our flat. The experience was wonderful—Ollie was very knowledgeable and gave us interesting and informative stories throughout the journey; as well, he was a friendly and engaging gentleman! He, of course, knew all of the best Christmas light displays and we got to see all of them! If you’re in London during the Christmas season, make sure not to miss this fantastic experience! This Christmas Lights Tour is a must! From start to finish, Keith Groves ensured that every detail was perfect. His warm and friendly personality immediately made us feel welcome. He took us to breathtaking displays we never would have found on our own, and the pace of the tour was perfect, we had plenty of time to soak in the lights, take photos, and enjoy the festive atmosphere. Thanks to Keith, this tour was the highlight of our holiday trip. Highly recommended!

Paula was an excellent guide and very informative. She supported us in all our requests often visiting displays a second time. She met all our expectations of the tour. Would not hesitate to recommend her.

John was wonderful but the traffic was horrible and the experience was not the same as my daughter told me. John went out of his way to make it pleasant and interesting

The tour was fantastic, we were able to see all of the major areas with holiday decorations and lights. It met all expectations and we took many photos! Also, Paula was a great and knowledgeable guide, we appreciated her expertise and she answered our many questions about London. The bonus is that she did show us a few places that we would never find or know about and this included the associated stories and history. We were grateful that she was able to spend her weekend night taking us around London - and it was right before Christmas. We would love to have Paula take us around again the next time we are in town. We had a great time with her!

The Christmas-lights tour was with driver Paula Pickin. She was the perfect guide, chatting along the way and giving us interesting details about places of interest. She took us to places where we wouldn't have gone ourselves. Altough the weather wasn't very cooperative there were plenty of opportunity's to take pictures of the lights on display. I you have the opportunity to do this tour, we would recommend booking with Black Taxi Tour London!

I had a long layover in London and this was a great way to tour the city and its creative Christmas decoration. My driver was Paul and he was fantastic. He knew so much about the city and really customized my trip to my interests. Definitely will use this company for other private trips during my next visit.

Richard was the best! He knew where all the lights were and gave us background history for some of the areas and buildings. He was encouraging and took pictures of our family for us. It really was the highlight of our London Christmas trip!

We had the best experience with Black Taxi Tour London for our Xmas lights tour. From the start, Angela was super-efficient and helpful. Our flight was delayed in Frankfurt for 8 hours which would mean we would miss our tour, but Angela responded promptly to my email on a Saturday and managed to change the tour for us. Tom, our driver/ tour guide was wonderful. Just loved spending the evening with him and he managed to stop in the busiest spots in peak Xmas time for us to get great photos. He took beautiful photos of our family which he sent to us later, so that we wouldn't have to bother with it ourselves. The lights themselves were magical and for us Australians, who were experiencing a Northern hemisphere Xmas for the first time, it was truly magical. I can't recommend this tour company highly enough and will definitely be booking with them again. Thanks Angela and Tom!

We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas lights tour of London. The lights were amazing and all the rest of the sights in between were a bonus. Our driver, Paula was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to chat with along the way. She happily helped us with pictures of our group and was an absolute star getting us home. This was a family Christmas splurge and well worth every penny.

So lucky to have Steve take us on an amazing night tour featuring the Christmas lights and so many other places of interest. We knew from the first minute of meeting Steve it would be an evening to remember - an absolute wealth of knowledge and so warm and friendly. He was able to skilfully include suggestions we had along the way and best of all the many stops we made to not only take photos but to also walk around and immerse ourselves in the local nightlife and culture. It was an absolutely superb experience for my daughter and I, we cannot recommend this company highly enough!!! A special mention to Angela also for assisting us in arranging the tour. We had late changes to our plans but this was handled in such a friendly and reassuring way it clearly demonstrates their professionalism and integrity. My daughter and I took a lost minute trip to London during Thanksgiving break 2022. The best part of our trip was the Private Black Taxi Tour London Christmas Lights tour with Stella! Stella arrived early to pick us up from the Conrad. Stella was so friendly and welcoming! I wasn't exactly sure what to expect when booking this. My family loves Christmas lights, so we were definitely up for trying it out. This tour exceeded our expectations by far! Stella not only picked us up from and dropped us back off at our hotel, she also drove us around different areas, parked the car and took us to tour by foot, and because she is a certified tour guide, she included different tidbits as we were driving and walking. AND she took a ton of pictures that she air dropped to my daughter at the end of the evening! Stella made the evening fun for us - exactly what we needed - and it felt like we were touring London with an old friend! This is now on several other family members and friends bucket lists. It is a must do during the holidays in London. I have been to many big cities during the holidays. Nothing has compared to the Christmas Spirit we saw through Stella's eyes in London. What an incredible way to start our London holiday! Our taxi driver ( Joe Cartwright) went out of his way to shoebox the stunning lights and was a kick ass photographer as well...request him as your guide, you won't be sorry!

What a fantastic tour of the London lights. Not only did he pick up on what we and the children were interested in but took us round lots of back streets to see places we didn't know existed. His knowledge of history and London events and buildings is second to none! Absolutely not to be missed!!!

We were utterly blown away by this - Ray, our tour guide, was superb with his knowledge and so considerate (mince pies, drinks and sweets for the kids!). He stopped wherever we wanted and showed us some brilliant hidden gems. Thank you for a very special experience. I’d highly recommend this as a magical way to appreciate London! We have a 3 and 6 year old who loves jumping out to see different places and wouldn’t have the stamina on foot. We also brought the grandparents who know London well but really enjoyed all Ray’s fascinating knowledge!

Paul took us out for a Christmas Eve lights tour. He was so lovely! Answering all the childrens questions (and there were lots) he interjected to tell us things of interest and let’s us be a happy family in the back without feeling over looked. I was worried two hours would be too long for my 7 and 9 year old but it was perfect. Paul had all the essentials for a horridly wet evening including a huge golf umbrella that fit us all underneath. He got out and opened our door every time. He has extensive knowledge of everything London and took photos for us too. He asked us if we wanted to go anywhere particular (we didn’t) but where we went was amazing and we stopped wherever the children asked!! We even saw a Christmas Eve engagement too - it was truly magical and we couldn’t have wished for better! If you’re wondering if to spend the money… do… It’s magical! We can’t wait to go on another tour soon. Thank you for making our Xmas magical
