We had done a tour with Caroline in 2019 and loved it just as much this time! The knowledge, history and her love of London comes through in her enthusiasm, even with London rainy weather, lol. We hit all the highlights and she gave us great advice on other must hits during our trip. Don’t hesitate to book as a first timer or a repeat! You will never regret it, a must do!
A walking tour is a great way to locate and learn about the classic London sights. Caroline was a very friendly guide and looked after everyone in the group’s needs.
This was great tour. Our hide was very knowledgeable and very helpful. We a lot of sights around London. Great lunch experience .
Caroline was knowledgeable and accommodating. We had a short window to experience London and Caroline did a superb job.
Excellent walking tour of London. It highlighted the go to spots. Caroline was very prompt and responsive with my concerns and questions prior to the tour. She sent excellent comprehensive information prior to meeting for the tour. The meeting place was easy to find and the drop off point was near to some additional possible places to explore. Caroline was an excellent storyteller with extensive knowledge of not only the tour areas but Great Britain history. The tour was well paced with sitting stops, restroom breaks and fun lunch. I highly recommend this tour as an introduction to London. It’s a great jump off point to do more exploration in areas of interest or see the high points if your London visit is short.
This was one of the best tours in our 8 week European holiday. Caroline was really knowledgeable and passionate about London. She was happy to pivot and customise the tour and extremely helpful with our post tour activities. Thoroughly recommend Caroline!
We had an exceptionally great tour with Caroline! It was a joy to walk with someone who feels so passionately about what they're doing. Caroline is very knowledgeable about London, its history and important people/ events, the buildings and attractions. She takes great care of everyone in the group and the whole tour is planned very carefully with great attention to detail. Be it the walking route, the story telling, the handy tips and tricks what else to do in London, where to go ... even the loo breaks and lunch break were timed perfectly! Caroline was carrying a headset with a small loudspeaker and this was very helpful to always be able to hear what she was telling. We enjoyed our tour immensely, it was great fun and very interesting! 10/10, we recommend it strongly!
Wow! What a fantastic walking tour. Caroline contacted us a few days out with all the details and even the weather forecast. She was incredibly knowledgeable and catered for a detour to accomodate one of our “must sees” along the way. Would thoroughly recommend this tour to all tourists. Thanks Caroline! Chris & Christine. New Zealand
See the Sights walking tour was excellent. Mike was fantastic and made the info easy to absorb! Walking was not too much. Really enjoyed this tour. Far better option than the hop on hop off buses that just get stuck in the traffic and give info on a recording!! Highly recommend.
i can’t truly describe how amazing this tour was. caroline did an immaculate job!! she was an INCREDIBLE guide. not only did she know everything about the stops, but since we were the only ones on the tour she customized it and we ended up spending the WHOLE DAY WITH HER! she showed us so much!!! she’s so personable and compassionate. i have allergies so she was able to accommodate me during the changing of the guards while also giving my friends the appropriate experience. i really hope she continues to give tours, London wouldn’t have been the same without her. we follow each other on media and still keep in touch, truly an amazing woman! please, even if you’re not short on time, let caroline entertain & inform you! you won’t regret it. and for the amount that’s seen, info shared, & the laughs, this tour is Wy to cheap. a solid steal! thank you caroline for all that you did. i seriously mean it, London wouldn’t have been the same without you. and i still think about Fish! at least once a week!!
The tour was so much FUN! We really enjoyed seeing the sites and learning about London's history. Alex was a great guide and extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We would highly recommend to anyone especially those wanting to see as much as possible in a short time frame as we were only in the city for couple of days.
Fantastic! We loved the overview of the city. It was the perfect way to orient ourselves. We felt like we got an honest assessment of London today as well as a great history of how it became the city it is the pace was great fast enough to be interested, but in depth enough to have a good education, we love the operator, very knowledgeable, truthful and funny
I took a solo trip and one of my stops was London. I took a tour with Phil and it was amazing! He was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. At our many stops, he offered the great historical facts and offered taking pictures when appropriate. Even got some fish & chips! I would 1000% recommend this tour!!
Caroline was very friendly and thoughtful. I visited London in Feb 2020. She added a personal touch to the tour. What surprised me most was that she’s an excellent story teller. She pointed out attractions that may interest us or that is dear to her and asked us to visit. She has advised us over and over to contact her if we require any help during our stay. She pointed out different museums, and theatres and gave us a brief history and tips on when best to visit. All in all it was brilliantly sunny day in London
Phil was OUTSTANDING! Not only was he well educated and very informative, but he was very personable and made connections with everyone in the group. We had a very diverse group, but he was able to relate the locations to each person in the group at least once. We ate at Borough Market and Phil helped us make choices from all the amazing food booths. The day went so quickly, because the information was so engaging.
Philip was our tour guide and he was super nice and accommodating. We did a private tour with my family because we have 2 two year olds traveling with us and an 8 year old. We didn't think the 8 year old would be into a walking history tour, but Philip was so good he got into it and even started asking questions about things we saw. There wasn't a question he couldn't answer about London or any of the sites we saw. I followed the advice of a fellow reviewer and booked this for our first day here so we could know better what we should and shouldn't do while we were here. Philip gave us pointers and told us which sites we should definitely do. | highly recommend this tour to everyone. The two year olds even had a good time.
Caroline's London in a Day tour is an absolute MUST! She's not only extremely knowledgeable but also the sweetest guide you'll ever meet. I've had the pleasure of joining this tour twice, once with my husband and once with my best friend, and both experiences were fantastic. In just one day, Caroline takes you through London's top attractions, providing the perfect introduction to the city's rich history and culture. Caroline's tour is the perfect way to get acquainted with the city and see all the must-see spots without worrying about getting lost, or how to use the tube, or if you’ll be able to see all of these great spots in a day… you simply lace up your trainers and follow Caroline through the city without a worry! She prepares you before hand for the journey with her pre-tour check in messages and excellent communication throughout. In addition, I think what makes this tour even more special, is the opportunity to meet fellow travelers! During my second tour, I actually ended up meeting someone who I now consider a life long friend! This tour is worth every penny. You’ll learn a whole lot, see all the sites, and make a lasting memory ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank Caroline! I do hope our paths cross again.
I took this walking tour in March 2023. It was a great, memorable tour despite the rain. Below is my review from 1 year ago. This is a great walking tour to get an overview of London before choosing specific locations to spend more time exploring. Philip was a knowledgeable tour guide that made the walking tour enjoyable despite the rainy conditions. Also, I appreciated the extra advice and directions to visit other sights in London after the tour ended.
Fantastic tour! Highly recommend! Caroline was knowledgeable about the area and would even take pictures of us at all the tourist spots.
Our walking tour with Caroline was wonderful! She is not only friendly, but so knowledgeable about London highlights and history. It was nice to have a smaller tour and see things really Upclose. Her walking tour was one of our favorite things we did! I highly recommended this walking tour. She definitely hits all the popular places and gives little known facts!
Wow just book ,you will not regret it! Caroline is a terrific storyteller and makes history come alive. Caroline is an absolute treasure and she made our day in London so very memorable, she was incredibly interested in all of our group chatting and finding out about us which made it all the more personal. From the moment we booked the help and ideas Caroline gave us were immeasurable! Caroline is just the sweetest lady and the tour was fantastic!
Caroline did an absolutely amazing job with the entire tour! She is the most knowledgeable guide I have ever had, and would answer any questions. Our group had to great detail. Even better, she was super engaging and even offered to take us pictures/stop for breaks if we needed. 10/10 would recommend to any one visiting London.
Caroline is a great tour guide and super knowledgeable. She knows everything about London. I had a great time walking all over the city with her.
Caroline was a kick - no regrets - wear your sneakers (this gal can move)! Great history mingled with those little tidbits that only informed locals can provide. Hike up your knickers and get on the bus...
We loved this tour! Caroline was amazing! The tour never felt long and she made sure to stop for breaks for the bathroom and food and coffee. She took pictures of us along the way that turned out amazing. We only have 2 full days in the UK and this gave us the feeling like we saw the best of everything and we have photos to prove it. It was such a lovely day. I would highly recommend her tour. My favorite part was the changing of the guard. There were other tour guides by us and I could tell she was just simply the best. We also continued on to Paris and Rome and Greece and had tour guides in every city and none compared to what Caroline provided us! She is definitely the best tour guide you can find! So much passion and you’ll feel like she’s family by the end!
We had a fantastic time on Caroline’s tour! Caroline is very knowledgeable and personable! We visited many place of interest and received a wonderful information and history about all of the sites. The group was small which was wonderful and moved a a perfect pace. Caroline also provide great information prior to our arrival and during the tour about London and place to see and some great dinning options as well. Caroline also went above and beyond assisting is with some detailed transportation recommendation for our plans the next day. I would highly recommend booking with Caroline!
Excellent, wonderful knowledge and a comprehensive overview of London with plenty of recommendations and ideas for spending more time in the city. Had a wonderful time and would recommend to anyone visiting London, whether it's your first time or a return trip! I saw things I had never seen before.
Wonderful tour. Caroline was a fantastic guide - not just knowledgeable but truly passionate. Her experience and good relations resulted in a front row view at St James Palace for changing of the guard and walking history lesson throughout. Recommend.
Wow! I’ve been to London two other times and have never learned so much than the hours that I spent with Caroline! She is such a lovely lady! I really didn’t want the tour to end. She was so knowledgeable and knew the great places to see the BEST stuff. You will not need a hop on/hop off bus after her tour. I can’t recommend this enough.
Caroline has a passion for guiding her guest and providing legendary customer service. We were a family of 7 coming in from the US on a delayed flight and she went above and beyond to help us arrive and find her. The tour itself was brilliant and as a history buff I learned a lot but I was thrilled on how she engaged with my young children and in laws. She is truly a wonderful person.
Super slow and boring. We ended up leaving early (after about an hour) despite having pre-paid for the tour. We are out the money but we figured it would be better to be out the money rather then out the money and the time spent being bored when there are better things to do with our limited vacation time.
We found Phil our guide to be both extremely knowledgeable yet at the same time very friendly and welcoming. His ability to provide us with insights as well as detailed information really sets this tour apart from a number of others that we have been on. Phil also supplemented the tour by sharing his wealth of knowledge on all things London!
Caroline is simply AMAZING! One of the best tour guides I have ever met. She knew exactly the right Spots to take the group, so it really felt like a special experience. Since we were so close to the Changing of the Guard we were able to take some amazing instagram worthy pics. Caroline is not only very knowledgeable about the history of London and the Royal sights we visited, but brings a genuine warm and positive energy to the group which makes you feel like you fit right in. Caroline is kind and extremely friendly and makes the tour a funny and enjoyable experience. Like I said in the title. I always felt like I was simply at the right place at the right time. I wish I could see all of London with her. I HIGHLY recommend this tour!!
Superb tour. Caroline got us to just the right place at just the right time to get the perfect spot for watching the Changing of the Guard up close. We so enjoyed the walk through London with our lovely group and loved hearing about all the history and hilarious stories about the Royals. We saw most of the major attractions of this part of London including Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey and the Houses of Parliament and heard amazing stories about them all. Great time was had by all!
I could not have asked for a better experience. I had a 10 hour layover in London and did not want to spend that time in the airport. My incoming flight landed right before the tour started which meant I would miss the first part. Caroline was able to customize the tour for me and gave me detailed information on where to meet my guide Phil. Phil was an excellent guide with a wealth of knowledge and friendly personality. I highly recommend utilizing their services for touring London and will do it again whenever I’m there.
I thoroughly enjoyed my tour with Alex. He showed us all of the major sights of London as well as some hidden gems. We stopped frequently to learn about the amazing sights and had a fantastic lunch break at Borough Market, the street food was incredible. I was only able to be there for one day but I felt like this tour let me see so much of London that it felt like I made the absolute most of my time there. I got a great feel for the city, the history of the buildings and of London, and feel in love with it all. It was such a great experience, I would highly recommend anyone to take this tour even if you have been to London before.
Thank you to Phil for making our trip to London so special. This walking tour was the highlight of our visit and Phil was an awesome guide with an encyclopaedic knowledge of the history of the sights we saw. Which were such a delight! We saw the Changing of the Queen's Lifeguard, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square and then we went to Borough Market for lunch. There was an astonishing array of street food! We were spoilt for choice. We had a fabulous lunch and then carried on to see London Bridge, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, St Paul's Cathedral and we ended up with an awe-inspiring view of London. Our guide Phil was just amazing. He was funny, kind, very knowledgable and made a point of getting to know all of our small group as we walked around. It was like walking with friends! If you want to see all the main sights in London I can highly recommend this brilliant walking tour!!
