Absolutely the best way to see London. New clean electric cab with full view glass roof. Our tour guide Lee was amazing. We were here with friends who had never been to London. This was a great way to show them all of the highlights and attractions of London in a single day.

This is the perfect way to start off your London vacation. You see all the major sights, and then you can decide where you want to return to for a more extensive look. Lee, our driver, was quite knowledgeable and made our experience even better.

Our tour was with Glen who was absolutely superb. He was very accommodating to our time we had available. He made sure that we hit all the things to see on our list and more! There is no way we could have done everything we did on our own, and the icing on the cake was his knowledge of the history of London was never ending. Amazing experience!Got 2 days worth of sightseeing in 3 hours in a comfortable taxi which is recommendable when travelling with young children who can’t do all the walking necessary. Our guide Lee was really friendly and had great knowledge of the history behind all the monuments we saw. Always willing to go the extra mile to help us get the best spots for taking photos. Most of our best photos were even taken by him!! Looking forward to try another taxi experience on our next visit!

My family and I use this tour to see the highlights of London. Glen was it tour guide and was phenomenal. He was very relaxed the whole time. He offered us persona insight and made sure we saw all the great monuments and buildings. He was very engaging with our children by including Harry Potter stops and costumes! He took photos of our family and made this trip very memorable. Highly recommend.

I’ll admit, I initially thought this tour was going to be gimmicky/touristy but after just 5 minutes with Lee (our outstanding guide), I was proven wrong! He was full of history, general city knowledge and plenty of good banter. He took us to so many cool spots that would be easy to miss if you were only doing the usual Central London highlights. Being in a offical black cab also gave us parking access to awesome photo spots that you couldn’t get to otherwise without a ton of walking. The cab itself has a glass roof so you never miss a view and even with 6 of us, there was plenty of room inside. I felt like we saw so much in just 4 hours and I got every iconic photo I could have wanted. Would 100% recommend doing this one of these tours!!!

Terrific tour with a very knowledgeable and friendly guide in a super comfortable taxi. The hotel pickup and drop off was extremely convenient. Having the tour exclusively for our group felt very special. The company was also very customer focused with excellent communications. They even reached out to us a week in advance advising us of a major event taking place in the city that would impact our tour and gave alternative options which we took. Very impressed!

Sam was amazing! So much knowledge of the history of the city. We asked for a “splash” of rock & roll on our tour and we were treated to a bunch of cool stops with details about hidden recording studios, guitar shops on Denmark St, and clubs where bands played back in the day. Sam took us to all the photo opp locations. Sam’s historical knowledge about the development of the city was impressive! He kept us entertained during the moments of traffic with details about statues, various buildings and architecture. It was a great experience.

My wife and I did a private three hour tour in London. Liam was our guide. Everything was outstanding. The black taxi was like new and had a lot of room. Liam was very knowledgeable and provided great historical insights. We stopped many times for photo opportunities and to explore a few of the local sites further. Highly recommended!

Hi, we did a 4 hour tour of London by taxi with visitlondontaxitours. There are a lot of beautiful tours on offer and we have made a tour completely adapted to us. It was a mix of the classic London Tour and the Instagram Tour. The arrangements in advance by mail with Cheryl were fantastic. She responded promptly to all questions. We only had a very tight time window in London because we had to rely on a cruise ship (Southampton). The whole tour was awesome. Our driver Adam was amazing, very accommodating and just wonderful. We couldn't have gotten a better one. He drove us to all the destinations we wanted, informed us about London and found even better alternatives to some sights that would have been far away. We have been to Big Ben, Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, London Eye, Peggy Porschen, Piccadilly Circus and much more... This tour is simply unique and I have already recommended it to people. My family of three (my husband, 17 year old son and myself) had only two days to spend in London and a lot we wanted to see and do. After extensive research (I'm a planner) I went with Visit London Taxi Tours. I'm so glad I did. I connected with Cheryl via email, and right out of the gate she was answering all my questions, and helping me plan the perfect itinerary for my family. Communication was excellent, and she offered great advice on making the most of our time in London. On the morning of our tour, our driver Gavin sent us a quick email when he was on his way, and another when he pulled up to our hotel. Right from the start, we knew we were in good hands. Gavin was thoughtful, quick-witted, knowledgeable, and as authentic as they come. And did I mention FUN. Even my teen was impressed and that's saying something. Gavin took us to all our "must do" stops such as Whitechapel for a bit of Jack the Ripper, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, and Abbey Road. But he also took us off the beaten path and took us to some amazing places. The stories of the area past and present were brought to life, and the day flew by. When we got hungry Gavin took us to a local pub for some excellent fish and chips and Guinness. Our 6 hour tour flew by! No hassle, no stress and door to door pickup. This was the perfect was to see London. On a final note, for anyone dealing with a disability who may be nervous about touring London; My husband has MS and this was our first time traveling overseas since his diagnosis. We were worried this trip may have been too much for him. Rest assured Gavin and Visit London Taxi Tours had us covered. Trust me, this is the ONLY way to really see London.

The iconic black taxi cabs are all over London. Paul, our cabbie, treated us to an educational and fun 3 hours. We saw several important sites including the Albert Memorial Monument, the Royal Albert Hall, Grosvenor Square, the Jimi Hendrix apartment, the birthplace of Queen Elizabeth, the FDR/Churchill bench, London's oldest hat shop, and several other famous monuments. what a great 3 hours! thanks, Paul!

My review first and foremost has to compliment Cheryl. She was so kind and accommodating and helpful. Our cruise was cancelled and so we had to make some last minute changes to our schedule and she worked so wonderfully for us to find us another option on a different day to get to Dover. Patrick was wonderful in transporting us and getting us to Dover while telling us some history and sharing some sites with us. But overall, I cannot thank Cheryl enough for saving aspects of our summer vacation- she was so kind and so responsive!

First, Cheryl was amazing to get us a 3 hr tour on such late notice! Second, Alan was so fabulous and knowlegeable! He sat down with us when he picked us up to kind of get a feel of what we wanted. He delivered! We saw all the hot spots, a few additional spots that were must-sees for us (I won't say what they are, so people don't ask him to do it. HAHA) Old businesses, Jack the Ripper neighborhood and he even got out and walked with us and took our pictures at everything. I just can't say enough about this experience. Please call them and do it, you won't be disappointed!

Lee was a fantastic guide. This was the perfect way to see the city on the first day of our trip. We got to see all the main attractions, got wonderful pictures, and received excellent recommendations for the remainder of our stay.

Our family of five had a wonderful experience in London with our tour guide, Lee. We spent the late morning and early afternoon seeing London’s most famous sites as well as many lesser known locations that we found very intriguing. Lee greeted us at an easy to find meeting place and immediately made us feel comfortable in the taxi which was much nicer than we anticipated. The vehicle was roomy, air conditioned, and featured large windows and even a large glass roof which made it easier to see all of London. Most impressive was how accommodating Lee was throughout our trip, stopping at excellent photo opportunities and even snack and bathroom locations. The history Lee provided was very interesting and made our experience that much better. A wonderful way to see London! Highly recommended!
