London Classic Landmarks Bike Tour With Local Guide

We had such a great time on our London bike tour! Cert was an absolutely wonderful guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience so much fun. We loved seeing London from a different perspective, hearing the stories behind the sights, and discovering parts of the city we might never have found on our own. The e-bikes were fantastic and made the ride so easy and enjoyable. We were able to cover so much ground without feeling worn out, which made the experience even better. This was definitely one of the highlights of our time in London. We would do it again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. And if you get Cert as your guide, you’re in for a great experience!

A great way to see so much London has to offer and also hear about the history. Our tour guide, Dominic, was fantastic. He told us great stories and fun facts and made the tour so enjoyable. He also never rushed anyone and made it safe to ride around the city. Highly recommend this tour, a great way to spend 3-4 hours.

Wonderful tour of London on a beautiful day. Iñaki was very knowledgeable and was able to maneuver around the London half marathon with ease. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would highly recommend.

Good choice of landmarks. Great bikes: new, very easy to ride and manouver, and comfortable. We did the tour on a Saturday morning and found it very easy to move around.

What a fun way to see the sites of London. Even in the pouring rain! It was great learning the key facts from a local about the places we visited that you wouldn't otherwise know. Great tour! You don't need to be an experienced biker - just know how to ride a bike.

Our guide was top notch! Despite him getting a wasp sting (hope he’s ok!) and having the responsibility of a new young rider he maintained his professionalism and attention to the sites snd providing historical references and interesting info. He made sure we saw all of the important sites and was always happy to be sharing his knowledge. The bikes were very nice to ride and despite being in a busy city we always knew what to expect and felt very safe ! Book this tour! You won’t be sorry. It’s a great way to get a feel of the city especially if you just arrived!

The entire experience from beginning to end was fabulous. Our tour guide Kim was friendly, knowledgeable and flexible due to unanticiapted road closures. The duration of the tour was a perfect length, neither too long or too short. The sites visited checked all of our boxes, and Kim made the experience that much better! If you are traveling solo in London I highly recommend this tour. I meet excellent people and had so much fun riding the bikes around London! Emily was a great tour guide. We started our trip to London with this bike tour and couldn't have been happier. Catherine was our guide and she did an amazing job at pacing, highlighting landmarks, and navigating in a way that made you feel like you were a part of the city and not an imposing tourist. Cannot recommend this tour and Catherine especially enough. She catered to the different levels of biking experience in the group, gave simple and clear instructions on how to stay safe in biking lanes in very busy parts of London, and was lovely to speak with. We feel like we made a new friend!

Traveled as a 50 year old woman w her 16 year old son and loved it. Not too difficult, plenty of stops, much easier than you think biking through London might be. Aside from being able to see the sights, our tour guide George was fabulous. Full of fun facts and tidbits! Highly recommend this sightseeing tour as a way to see London, especially if you are short on time. In the past I’ve done the hop on/hop off bus and much preferred this experience.

Great tour, fun bike ride, our family loved this on our first day in London! We were traveling with our two teenage sons and the whole family really enjoyed this tour.

This was a wonderful adventure! Much better than a walking tour. We took our two teens, and they really enjoyed it. Tim was excellent! Kept us safe and shared so much history and information about allllll of the sites we saw! I was a little nervous about biking in the city, but it was just fine. I 110% recommend this trip-especially with teens!

We had an amazing time with our guide, Inaki. His talks were very informative, and the bikes were all well-serviced and sturdy. We made a last minute decision to join the tour, booking the evening before, and we're so glad we did! It was a great way to see a variety of sites, some of which we wouldn't have gone to view on our own. The weather was lovely, with most of the path well-shaded. Much of London is filled with bike lanes, so we didn't have to bike through traffic too much. Our kids are 10 and 13, both are proficient cyclists, and they didn't have any trouble. They loved the bike ride! Some of the areas (such as Covent Garden) are a bit busy, so you would need to be comfortable maneuvering around pedestrians...particularly on the weekend.

Traffic and crowds in London can be intimidating but we felt conformable with the riding group and our guide.

Dominick is a great tour. We had terrific 3 hours bicycling around the city and getting to see the Parliament, st James Park, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Sq and a nice lunch at Covent Garden. Then back along the Embankment and under the Waterloo station.

We had a great time, Dominik was an excellent guide and brought us safely through the entire tour. Biking is the best mean of transportation to see London as it has great Bicycle roads.

Wonderful way to see so many highlights of London! Our guide George was incredibly knowledgeable, a great historian with lots of funnies. Very safety conscious as well. Make sure to bring water and maybe a snack cause it's a marathon to get everything in.

STOP! Just go ahead and book this now. There is no better way to get oriented with the city, and spend a lovely morning/afternoon. If you do this first thing, then you will know your way around the city better, the neighborhoods, where to eat, where you might want to go but didn't know about. So think of it as an investment in your future self in helping you enjoy more of the city, more stress free. I was a tour guide in San Francisco once, so I know good tour guides and our guide, George, was very knowledgeable, engaging, safe and animated. So hey! Why are you still reading?!? You should be booking this tour!

We had a fantastic time on the London Classic Landmarks Bike Tour with The London Bicycle Tour Company. Our group was 2 adults, 2 children (aged 9 and 11), plus a family friend, and it was a brilliant way to experience the city. Even though my husband and I lived in London for 14 years, we still learned plenty of new and interesting facts. The meeting point was easy to get to, and we were surprised by how quickly we reached Westminster, our first stop. George was an excellent guide — knowledgeable, relaxed and great fun. He kept everyone engaged, including the kids, and the pace was perfect. A stop at a local pub for a drink and a packet of crisps was a lovely touch and added to the experience. If you're looking for a fun and informative way to see London's iconic landmarks, we'd highly recommend this tour.

It was out first, but definitely not our last bike tour. I went with my son, who is 14, and we both enjoyed this adventure. For those who do not seek a history lesson, want to see the main sites, and have the ability to zip away once done, this makes for a terrific alternative to walking tours.

What a great experience. Getting this a sense of London and where everything is and how relates can actually be achieved when you are cycling around with a Guide. George did an excellent job looking after our group and ensuring our safety as well as telling endless stories. Definitely well worth it and great value.

The staff helped us reschedule our tour when our flight arrived three hours late. Our guide, Ashley, was personable and entertaining. A great way to get oriented to city highlights!

Our family of four (2 adults, 1 teen, 1 tween) had such a great time. George was a great guide, full of energy and information and really able to pivot as needed (my daughter got a flat early on, and big events in the city on the day of our tour meant the usual route had to be altered a few times). We felt like we got to cover a lot of ground, and we all enjoyed it.

What a wonderful way to experience the highlights of London with the limited time we had. We were going to tour London via the hop on/off bus but after reading some negative reviews we decided on the bike tour. Wow are we glad we did! Ian was such a great tour guide, and we stopped at all the highlights at the right times. He explained the history of where we stopped, and it was just enough information that we needed. He was enthusiastic, funny and very pleasant. We biked through all the crowds at the changing of the guards at Buckingham palace and saw it all up close. That was a highlight for us that while all the crowds were standing behind the gates, we were allowed to bike through the crowds on the road. We only had a group of 4 in our tour because we booked very last minute and it was fantastic because it went faster and we didn't need to wait for a large group of cyclists to catch up. The length of time of the tour was perfect, and we got in some exercise versus sitting on a bus. Highly recommend this tour and company.

Loved it. Great route and timing. Loved the guide. I would have liked a little more history but then the tour would have been too long. The bikes could use an upgrade but then it would have cost more…so again, 5 stars. Very good.

People can feel safe to join the tour with normal cycling experience without fear of cycling in London as the guide is very cautious and take care of the entire group. Join the first day of your travel in London if possible so to get to know the city better.

Emily was our guide and she did an amazing job getting us all through the streets of London. She had some really great stories and anecdotes which made the tour fun and interesting. Would definitely do again! This tour doesn't go into anything, just looks at several landmarks from the outside but the guides tell you what's worth it and what's not if you choose to come back!
