Excellently organised giving good value for money. The tour guide, Perla, was knowledgeable and engaged enthusiastically with all the 15 members in the group. A really enjoyable experience of about the correct duration on a very hot afternoon.

Itinerary
Calling all curd nerds and turophiles - yep, there's a word for your love of cheese - London's finest cheeses are being wrapped up into a 2 hour walking tour!
The cheese crawl starts in Mayfair, where you’ll tuck into some of London’s finest blue cheese at Fortnum & Mason’s legendary cheese counter. Taste Truffle Cheeses from where the Queen gets her groceries, and Stilton from a famous cheesemonger that has been in the same spot since the early 18th century.
Next on the agenda is in London’s little known Little Italy. If you ask us, nothing quite beats a great wine paired with cheese, here you’ll try drunk cheeses!
Complete your cheese adventure in Covent Garden.

Bettina did the best she could with a larger than normal group. Our only complaint is that she walked so fast. She did say, normally this was a slower paced tour. The quantity of cheese was great. 5 selections, easily 2 servings pp per stop.
What a fun cheese tour by Louie, we had a great group, learned a lot and tried some new cheese. Highly recommend if you are traveling in the area.
Monterey Jack led a great tour with lots of tasting opportunities and a great variety that I would not have picked to try otherwise. He also had fabulously cheesy jokes throughout!
Really good afternoon. We met in Green Park and walked up to Fortnum & Masons, then onto five other cheesemongers. Nic, our guide was excellent. He was informative, funny and got the group to interact without being pushy. The only thing I would say was that he did walk quite fast between venues and if you had mobility problems, you might struggle. When we met in Green Park there were over 20 of us but they split us into two groups, so it was very manageable. We then paired up into teams and had to pick a team name. Every now and again on the way round there were questions and Nic gave points for correct answers. At the end of the tour anyone who wanted to had the opportunity to tell "cheesy" jokes. A lovely way to spend a couple of hours.
Monterey Jack was superb! I learned so much about cheese while having the best time. Please give him a raise! Thanks Jack!
Really good experience, host was friendly and knowledgeable. Stops were short distances so really managable. Really enjoyable experience!
Great fun couple of hours tasting cheeses in various stops through the West end of London. Host Nic was very amusing and very informative and took us through some wonderful streets and tasting super cheeses in super places. It was Brie-lliant !
Well, what a disappointment. Booked this fun-sounding tour for a small group of us to celebrate one of our favourite cheese-loving friend’s special birthday, hoping it would be a highlight of a weekend break in London. Sadly, even after emailing the operator to confirm it was all going ahead, the host didn’t show up at the meeting point. We tried to speak to the organiser by phone, but could only get through to a call centre who confirmed we were at the correct meeting point at the right time, but were also unable to reach the people running our tour. We ended up doing our own tour, including some spectacular Welsh rarebit at Fortnum’s, accompanied by cocktails. Not the day we’d planned, but we made our own fun. Notes for the organisers…. A quick text/email/whatsapp update should have been a minimum courtesy to let us know how the host was delayed or not coming. An automatic refund too, without having to spend ages on the phone only to be told they will TRY and apply for one for us. A real shame. I wouldn’t recommend based on our experience, sorry.
A really enjoyable two hours, sampling cheese, listening to cheesy puns and jokes and visiting some excellent stores. Monterey Jack was an excellent tour guide who kept us entertained and informed. We sampled seven cheeses in total, along with a glass of fizz! In short a lovely way to spend a couple of hours!
Great trip and would recommend. 12 of us on our tour and the cheese was a bit sparse. My wife and son did the same trip a few months ago when there were just 4 and they had generous portions.
We were so looking forward to this tour but it wasn't great. We walked to 3/4 different places - thought that Fortum and Mason and Wholefoods was obscure as they are department stores? Each time amongst 100 other shoppers, we were given tiny bits of cheese to taste, very random. Very little information in-between walking from one place to another and then ended up at a "real cheese shop", Neals Yard and were not given what they specialise in - stilton!! Or any blue cheese for that matter. We felt that trip was wasted - not a mention or visit to la Fromagerie or Paxton and Whitfield The tour was expensive for what we got - very very average and amateurish.
Tour guide Jack was great but I would not recommend this tour, especially during a busy period because we had 24 people on our tour and way too many. We had to wait (sometimes in the cold outside) as Jack went to buy cheese and cut it and it took some time. One of the stops was Whole Foods! I have a Whole Foods ten minutes from my home in Florida!! Also-no hand washing or anything as the host cut and handed out the food. My husband had a stomach bug the next day and might be related? I would skip this one
We had Jack as our tour guide and he did an amazing job. He was very knowledgeable and kept me entertained. The cheese we tried was so good. The tour did go for a very long time so we had to leave early to get to another part of our itinerary but would recommend this tour if you’re in London.
Overall and thanks to our tour guide, a good experience. Perla was amazing and made the best of it despite the immense crowds and seemingly low budget experience. The visit to Fortson and Mason would have been excellent had it not been for the Christmas crowds and having to “taste” the cheeses in the middle of the street. Heading to Whole Foods was probably the lowest point in the “tour”. Granted, the cheeses experienced at this location were somewhat unique. What was not so unique was visiting a grocery store for our tasting. The tour ended up well with visits to two small local shops that offered some interesting options. Overall, a good experience although I was expecting more. I wouldn’t highly recommend it.
Delicious cheeses, beautiful neighborhood, knowledgeable guide and nice co-tourists! Thank you for a great afternoon.
Our guide was very informative and funny, we loved the stops and the cheeses were incredible! Learning about the history behind the origins and naming of cheeses was particularly interesting, and we found ourselves loving cheeses we never thought we would try.
A great walking tour with Jack. He was funny and informative and the 2 hours went in a flash. Lots of fun and would be good for all ages. If you're lactose intolerant then this isn't one for you. Well done, Jack.
Our tour guide Jack was funny and knowledgeable. The cheese was fantastic. I gave it a 5 out of 5 but it was a 10 out of 5. Highly recommend.
We loved it. Great yummy fun. Cheese was wonderful. Highly recommend. Easy to get to meet-up location.
Great fun to do with a very humorous and knowledge based focus as you explore and learn about different cheeses and cheese outlets in Central London. You spend two hours tasting different cheeses from both well-known and quirky establishments potted with cheesy jokes and quizzes all fun based (even if you don’t win)! Full marks for our tour lead ‘Monterey Jack’ who has clearly picked up an encyclopaedia of cheese jokes over the years and an abundance of cheesy information to inform and entertain our tour party with some of us brave enough the truckle our own cheesy contributions.
We had a great guide, Monterey Jack, who took us on a really enjoyable walk to taste some truly delicious cheeses. It was relaxed, fun, tasty and interesting. Highly recommended.
A fun filled educational “crawl” around London tasting delicious cheeses. Highly recommend. Pearla was our guide. She was great. She gave us lots of interesting facts about the cheeses and some of the buildings/areas we visited.
Monterey Jack was so Gouda, we can’t wait to Comte back! The history and the facts about the cheeses were amazing , as were the games. Get your cheese jokes ready and enjoy the rind.
Great guide (Nic), really nice selection of cheeses and shops and very interesting cheese knowledge. Recommend for very nice family activity with teens!
Nick was our guide, and made the excursion fun, educational and delicious. It was a nice tour of well known cheese shops, had generous helpings of cheese tasting, and fun along the way. Definitely a good time, and would recommend.
This was a great way to see a fun part of London and taste some very good cheese! Our guides were knowledgeable and funny and the cheese quiz was a great addition. Time was given to explore a few of the shops which we greatly appreciated. Loved it and was so happy to spend my last day in London on thie Cheese Crawl!
Jack was our tour guide. He was engaging and fun and extremely knowledgeable. We tried some cheeses I've never heard of and they were delicious. We loved the cheesy jokes and the game of service station or cheese. Highly recommended!
Really great value money for money and great to see London from a cheese lover perspective. The tour guide, Nick was super friendly and knowledgable . Would really recommend to anybody
Our informative and friendly guide Nic took us to the best cheese shops in London and taught us about the craft and history of cheese making. We tried many delicious cheeses.
We really enjoyed the experience. Nick did a great job and we loved the cheesy jokes. Parmesan crisps highly recommended.
Host had good jokes. Cheese was amazing. Monterey Jack was engaging and knowledgeable. Cheeses were excellent picks. Highly recommend.
Jack was a great guide. We had so much fun on our cheese tour. We stopped at four different locations, most of them were beautiful, old establishments going back to the 1,700’s! And tried about 7 different cheeses. I brought my 14 and 11 year old sons. My older son actually picked out the tour as he loves cheese and likes to do walking tours. Recommend for anyone who wants to hear some history of some of the old, very posh shops in London, and try some interesting cheeses.
Jack was a good host--very informed and entertaining. Ate a bunch of interesting cheese, from places like Fortnum and Mason, a classic cheese monger, an italian deli and. . . . Whole Foods(!). Also enjoyed the game "service station or cheese". The pace was good, and the walk was not difficult.
We absolutely loved this cheese tour. We sampled 5 kinds of cheeses in a variety of cheese shops. Pearla, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable about the city and the cheeses we tried. She was absolutely lovely and welcoming of all members of our group. Would highly recommend!!
The cheeses were all different and very tasty and we learnt about the history and origin from a knowledgeable guide - Nick
Loved this trip, my daughter booked it for my birthday.Nick our guide was brilliant and got everyone involved with the quiz questions and jokes and was very knowledgeable about the different types of cheeses, that we sampled. Great idea putting us into quiz teams so you also get to make friends as well.Would highly recommend this trip as it’s something that I would have never of thought of booking and enjoyed every minute.
Nick was FABULOUS! Engaging & really made this experience soooo much fun. His jokes were sooo “cheesy” 😂😂 and we loved every moment and bite of this tour.
We waited for the guide who never showed up. We were not notified in advance. I spent about an hour on the phone (paying international phone rates) and spoke with several people at different organizations. I did get a refund, but this really should have been handled better.
We had a great time scoffing cheese whilst finding out more about London's cheesy history. Definitely one to book if you're a cheesemeister!
Highly recommended for cheese lovers. Jack is an entertaining and knowledgeable guide. We enjoyed discovering new cheeses and in some very interesting shops. And the ‘cheesy’ quizz!
For cheese lovers, what a grate way to explore different cheeses 🧀. I'll Brie back , 100% recommend . A grate day out .
Great way to explore London find out some history and get to eat amazing cheese. Our tour guide 'Monterey' Jack kept us entertained and informed whilst introducing us to the most amazing cheeses whilst walking around London. Shepherding 17 of us through busy London on a Sat just before Christmas is no mean feat. Found bits of London I'd not come across before but will be revisiting soon. Wrap up warm and enjoy the ride. A great time was had by all and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about cheese and London,
