Really helpful polite staff- as always. My wife go on the Uberboat at least once a month and the staff are really helpful and professional. Sometimes boats are late but staff are always apologetic. Can’t remember all names but Norman at Greenwich was super cheerful.

That the trip can only start at certain river boat ports but can hop on and hop off at all ports. The cable car ride was a very good experience.
Great for running up and down the Thames River to cut off walking and cab fares! Would highly suggest the Uber Service to oriented to what sites are available!
Parminder and Letrel were super-helpfull. They were very very nice to us
Malkeet was very helpful and kind
Great as always. My autistic daughter loves these rides up and down the river. Chap named Dimitri is was really helpful and allowed her to ring s bell which made her day. Keep up the good work
Our family, which consisted of three adults a personal assistant and a young gentleman in a wheelchair. Bought the two day Uber clipper Boat ticket. Firstly, we would like to say that every single member of the Staff onshore and the crew on the boats where amazing. They were all extremely patient. Please could you make a comment of exceptional help regarding the Wheelchair and Giving the extra Service from Tracy we travelled all the way down to Greenwich. And had an exceptional journey. Thank you.
The tickets don’t scan for the workers at these places and it is so much more expensive to buy this bundle than just take the rides individually and buy them there. DON’T BUY THIS!!!
Wanted to get on initially at London Bridge Pier to queue for the coming boat , to then be told after waiting for 20 minutes it was full and was be a 40 minute wait .. this is terrible and rubbish service 😡😡😡. We then had to go back to London Bridge tube station to get the tube to our destination for a pre reserved booking. We were only able to use this for one trip , not multiple we intended … terrible and wouldn’t recommend to anyone ! I spoke with a staff member who wasn’t at all helpful at London Bridge pier … basically saying it is what it is and he cannot say how many people get on at the pier before. Terrible to say the least
David helped us and was super polite friendly and chatty thank you david!
We had a great experience with . It was smooth, easy to board, and very comfortable. The views along the Thames were amazing and made the journey really enjoyable. Much more relaxing than other transport in London. We really enjoyed it and would definitely use it again.
Trip adviser review for uber boat on and off hop day pass. If you'd like to post a TripAdvisor review for the Uber Boat Hop-On Hop-Off Day Pass, here's a polished review you can adapt: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Fantastic Way to See London We purchased the Uber Boat by Thames Clippers Hop-On Hop-Off Day Pass and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our London trip. The flexibility of being able to get on and off throughout the day made it easy to explore different areas along the Thames at our own pace. The views of iconic landmarks such as the London Eye, Big Ben, Tower Bridge, and Canary Wharf were spectacular from the river. The boats were clean, comfortable, and well-organised, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. We especially appreciated the onboard café/bar, toilets, and charging points, which made longer journeys very enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the day. What we loved most was avoiding London's traffic and crowded Tube trains while still travelling between major attractions. The day pass offered excellent value and allowed us to see the city from a completely different perspective. A tip for future travellers: try to include a journey around sunset if possible—the views from the river are stunning. Overall, I would highly recommend the Hop-On Hop-Off Day Pass to anyone visiting London or even locals looking for a relaxing day out on the Thames.
This is such an amazing way to make the most out there is in London you can see beautiful sights and amazing places all without any rush or hassle get an all day pass and the sun sets at 8:30pm anyways youve got time to make all of it from canary warf to battersea station | literally saw big ben london eye and so muchhh more without any traffic or anything the boats come around every two to three minutes daytime and 8-10mins night time

Fabulous. Cheap, easy to access. Beautiful views of London.
Cool experience! I decided to take the cable car around sunset and managed to get a beautiful view of the sun setting round the London skyline - would recommend and surprisingly it wasn’t busy at this time. One trip across = £7 pp if you scan in and out at the area (works like the trains) but will cost £7 to get back so bare this in mind.
Very amazing and lovely views of buildings and how beautiful London is .
Lonely day on the river sightseeing would recommend
The convenience is perfect and the boats are very nice and modern with a bar and toilets on board. They move with speed and that includes embarking and disembarking so be ready to not miss the boat.
Bought Uber 1 day hop on hop off. I travelled from Woolwich to Battersea. All staff were extremely polite, friendly and professional. I appreciate the safety measures that I observed. A little pricey, but what a lovely way to travel and see London landmarks. I visited Battersea Power Station. A beautiful and magnificent building. Chimney 109 was a great experience, with lots of information and fabulous views. Outside the Power Station was a lovely Christmassy area with an fabulous outdoor ice rink.
Great only little wait for next one urber boat cable car no problem day was very cold, but ok inside , sat outside first time around to take photos
We absolutely loved the IFS Cable Car + Uber Boat Hop-On Hop-Off 1-Day River Pass in London! The cable car ride was thrilling, offering sweeping panoramic views of the Thames and the city skyline—something both my daughter and I found magical. The hop-on hop-off boat added a great layer of flexibility; we could explore riverside landmarks at our own pace and then continue our journey effortlessly. The staff were friendly, the transitions smooth, and the combination of sky and water transport made the day feel special and memorable. Highly recommended for families wanting a fun, scenic way to see London.
Clipper Lounge was very comfortable. Norman was very courteous and gave good direction.Would definitely do it again.
Cable car ride was smooth and very scenic short walk from pier. The river cruise was excellent, very frequent service, which runs on time. To make the most of the hop on hop off experience, recommend research before you go, as to what you want to see and how they fit into the timetable.
if you’re on a tight schedule, don’t book these two together. Our cable car experience was canceled due to weather conditions. The wind was too high so we lost out on that experience but the uber river boat was amazing. The boat was super convenient. staff really great boat nice and big comfortable good toilet facilities
The boat would be better if the tv screen occasionally showed the route and pier that it was arriving, since they want you up and ready to disembark before they reach the pier. Hated the cable cars. Need to advise alternate ways to leave the area without having to take them back over. It would be nice if the boat serviced the other side of the River, as well. The last pick up location we found was North Greenwich pier.
It connects the Greenwich Peninsula to the Royal Docks, and it takes only 5-10 minutes to cross the Thames, giving you a great view over the river. It's highly recommended to go in the evening in summer, so make sure you get on the cable car at sunset, the pink and purple sunset will fill the sky, and you'll be chilling out with a drink in your hand as you enjoy the sunset. Tickets cost £7 one way and £13 return, and can be bought on the spot with a transport card, contactless card or at the window. By the way, to go to Greenwich Peninsula Station, you can first buy train tickets on TrainPal, new users with the promo code (RICH112) can also have a new passenger 5% off train tickets + 20% off railcard discounts, the money saved is just enough to buy a cup of drink on the cable car, super cost-effective.
Norman was lovely and chatty and the views were amazing, and the day was lovely when travelling back and forth over the river.
Lovely view once we got on the cable car itself. But the queue to get on board was immense. When we eventually made it to the car there was no direction to ensure that the people were loaded swiftly on board. In fact people were getting into a car that holds eight when there were only two people. We agreed with the couple behind us to go in a car together to help the people along way behind us in the queue. I would have thought the cars would be loaded for at least six people. It made it worse by the fact that it was almost thirty degrees outside waiting in the sunshine. It put a dampener on an otherwise pleasant experience.
Cable car was brilliant Uber boat not so good Lack of information and was told to change boats both ways Resulting in a 30 minute wait queueing for the next boat Will use the tube next time It will be quicker and more efficient
This is a great way to see many sights in London. There are plenty of boats so you don’t have to wait long.
Reminds my of great adventures in New Jersey took it from both sides of the river comfortable ride loved it
Cable cars totally out of the way, boring, and miserable (hot boxes with no air). Also, uber boats are as bad as mass transportation with large crowds, etc. Skip this
We had prebooked a combined ‘day pass’ and cable car ticket as the weather had been forecast around 30C so we thought the Uber boat, with the timetable showing they run every ten minutes, an efficient and much cooler option to get around than underground / buses. Wrong!! We arrived at Tower Bridge, and were told to go to boarding C. We were the first there. We waited…and waited…and waited…for 40 mins! In the heat (thankfully in the shade!) but with nowhere to sit and no update from any staff..who milled about on the pier, talking on ‘walk-in-talkies’ but keeping their distance from the growing queue!! Eventually I managed to call out to one and asked why the delay? Answer: “it gets busy in summer…and other boats use the pier” Hardly an explanation!! Once on board we realised the air con wasn’t working so it was extremely hot! A long way into the journey the crew (mainly orchestrated by the ‘barman’) eventually acknowledged this and opened the two front doors to let some air in! We travelled to Greenwich North pier and on our return again had to wait for 20mins for a boat…very little shade, although we did manage to sit on the one bench! The air con appeared to be working on this vessel (but the female bar staff member was struggling in the heat and appeared to speak to the crew member about the air con near her not working) We attempted to buy some bottled water…she apologised and said they didn’t have any that were cold!? So assume the fridge may not have been working either? All in all a very disappointing experience, probably not to be repeated! The on screen ads on board suggest making your journey to work a different way by using Uber boats…..well you could but you’d probably be late / miss meetings every single day based on our experience!
We had a very frustrating experience with Uber Boat that I would not recommend, especially for families. Despite purchasing prepaid tickets, we were made to wait on the pier with no priority and little guidance. We ended up waiting over 30 minutes for a boat, which completely threw off our schedule. The pier was crowded, with no seating and limited shade, which made it very uncomfortable — especially with kids. The staff gave little to no information about delays or expected arrival times. It felt disorganized and chaotic, and despite being a prepaid passenger, there was no boarding priority — boats often arrived already full. What’s marketed as a convenient and scenic way to get around London turned out to be unreliable and stressful. Public transport or even a car service would have been faster, cheaper, and less stressful. Definitely not recommended for families or anyone on a schedule.
Don’t try and get a return boat from Greenwich around 2pm ! Attendant on lunch , no one to show open gate to allow us onto the boat . We had to wait 50 minutes for next suitable boat westbound. Staff at this gate were rude and unhelpful! As this is a tourist attraction please note no commentary onboard about landmarks of London , found this to be rookie mistake !
Norman Greenwich is amazing Norman Greenwich amazing best person polite happy helpful professional caring , wish more like him in the world , keep up good work Basil
A beautiful young lady with brunette curly hair at the Tower Station needs an attitude check. We purchased our tickets on-line so we thought that we are able to just walk in to queue for the boat. As we were walking in, she stopped us and told us to get in the queue to get in in a not so nice way. We are tourist so we thought that she needs to check our ticket before going in. So we got in the queue apologetically. We stayed in the queue but we are watching people just walking in and the queue was taking so long. We asked another young lady that had an UBER jacket that was standing there what was going on and if we need to stand and wait since we had tickets. She said that we can just go in. The beautiful young lady again tried to stop us but not being nice. My husband at this point was perturbed so we were not happy that she tried to stop us again. We told her that we had tickets and maybe not as nice as she wanted it said. She proceeded to yell at us and ran after us while we were walking and said that she is going to be petty and told my husband that he needs to be nice because she is just doing her job and said other things that i didn’t care to listen to at this point. She would not even let us talk she just kept on talking to us in a rude way. If she wanted people to be kind to her she needs to do the same to people specially customers. Evidently, she is not doing her job correctly otherwise her and the clients would not be in this situation. We are tourists in London and did not know the protocols on how to get on the boat. Since she told us to get in the queue, we thought that this what we had to do even with tickets. After we had to listen to her rudeness, a staff checked our tickets before we got on the boat. Then another staff checked our tickets when we were on the boat. This process seems so inefficient. The boat is always late so if you need to be somewhere on a certain time don’t take this boat.
It was great even in poor weather, could have chosen a better day for the views. A worthwhile experience
We bought the 3 day Go City pass. and the Uber hop on hop off was included. We are glad we did, relaxing ride on the Thames River
We were lucky to meet Norman! Thanks to him, we quickly figured out everything about UberBoat service. We were lucky to meet Norman! Thanks to him, we quickly figured out everything about UberBoat service.
Enjoyed our time on the Uber Boat seeing the sights on the River Thames. Norman who was part of the staff was very helpful and friendly.
Absolutely appalling service - AVOID AT ALL COSTS! We spent £75 on pre-booked combination boat and cable car tickets for my son’s 4th birthday treat, but we couldn’t get out of the pier. No space on boats and any available space was reserved for those on organised tours. So we were stood waiting on the pier for hours. Staff member at London eye pier advised us to move across to Westminster as there was no sign of being able to get on a boat, which we did. We eventually had to give up as we were told it would be over an hour at Westminster, but I can’t see that we would have ever got on a boat due to tour groups piling on in front. When we queried it, a very rude staff member told us very abruptly that those on pre booked tours “had booked and paid” - as if we hadn’t spent an huge sum ourselves! and invited us to leave. All staff members have the customer complaints email saved on their phone ready to dish out to the inevitable unhappy customers. So we were unable to get anywhere, let alone to the cable car. My son was so disappointed. Disgusting service and told by other local boat providers that they are notorious for over booked boats. How can you keep taking money without being able to provide ANY sort of service? Daylight robbery!
This was an excellent option for our family to travel from Chelsea to the city center. The hop on hop off option was heavily utilized as we went to both sides of the Thames throughout the day. The boat staff were pleasant and helpful. The boats were clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this option, especially for a family.
We had a fantastic day. It was very easy to board and we really enjoyed the comfort of the boat and a nice cafe too. A smooth ride to North Greenwich and an exciting trip on the IFS cable car. What an amazing view. On the return we waited no time at all before another Uber boat came along and hopped back on and got off at Greenwich for the Cutty Sark, the only way to travel here in my opinion. I felt that upon leaving as it was after 5pm there were also commuters queuing on the pier and it was a bit disorganised. We had our ticket checked 3 times ! I felt it was a lot slower to board because of this. The commuters had priority and even though we had have a prepaid ticket we were left waiting. I think it should be organised in a way that commuters can queue and pass through one gate and everyone else can pass through another. If the staff had walkie talkies it would of aided them when the boat was ready to receive passengers instead of lots of waving and shouting to get the attention of the staff on the pier. On the trip back it was a comfortable trip as before and welcoming cafe. Unfortunately we were listening out for our stop and the announcement came crackled in the middle and we got off one stop early. We thought that if it was possible to have the next stops appearing on a screen like the train service it would be very helpful. However all in all it was a great service and a great day, but I think next time we will come home earlier for ease of boarding.
A simple way to take in the sights of London. Really enjoyed the day although the boat could not get past Westminster Bridge due to the tide. The cable car at sunset was spectacular.
Great way to get around London, not to mention the views were also amazing. My only regret was only purchasing a ticket for one day.
The cable car staff were so helpful. I left my gloves on the cable car and Ricardo radioed his colleagues to look out for my car to return, and let me retrieve them. So cheerful and kind. They also directed us to the bus stop for Greenwhich. They go 'Over and Above' to help people. Fab London attraction. Got the river Uber then from Greenwhich to Embankment, again, helpful staff and a good experience.
Brilliant fun, kids loved the boat and the cable cars and want to do it again. Brilliant way to see London. Malkeet, who works at North Greenwich Pier was so friendly and helpful and entertained the kids while we waited. Five stars!
Always a nice way to cross the Thames, even on cloudy days the views can be very nice. During off peak times you could get a gondolier to yourself like I did today.
