Our driver Alan was fabulous. He had so many interesting facts and stories. He was very flexible and considered our personal interest when taking us around London. We really enjoyed seeing Harrods lit up at night. A beautiful site!!! Alan took the time to take pictures of our group. Anyone with mobility issues can go on this tour. The whole experience was just a fun adventure. Thank you Alan!!!!

Fantastic experience. Alan was easy to communicate with especially for us to decide on a pickup point since we were not staying in the city and on foot touring before we met him. This was not our first trip to London but Alan got us all around and showed us some interesting spots we have never seen before. He was friendly and informative. He stopped at the iconic spots and jumped out and he took pictures for us too. It was a great evening and we felt like we were with a local friend driving us around the city giving an insider tour! I would definitely book this again.

Great way to see the city highlights at night! Stops include places you would expect, like Big Ben and Tower Bridge, but also some spots you may have missed during the day including the City of London Corporation building! A must include on your next London trip.

Fabulous 4 hours... Treated to several little known "secrets" and great visas of iconic sights. So much more than merely driving the city. Stories, history, went out of his way to get us up close to places. We had rain, as one so often does in London, but it didn't dampen the evening! We highly recommend you too spend an evening exploring with Yiannis

ABSOLUTELY FAN-TAS-TIC!!! Ollie was AMAZING!!! We did an overnight tour of London and of course the city itself is beautiful but Ollie knows EVERYTHING about EVERYTHING!! We felt safe the entire time. Was a great 4 hour tour!!

Alan gave us a fantastic tour of London and left us with some of our favorite pictures from the trip. He added to our travel wishlist and has given us numerous places to explore the next time we come to London. So glad we took the night tour! Would love to try the Harry Potter themed tour next time.

Our taxi tour guide Allan did a great job hitting a lot of the top London sights. We saw London Bridge, Tower Bridge, Big Ben, Parliament, Water Tower Building, and Buckingham Palace. We did the night tour, which was perfect for our layover. Not as much traffic out. Thanks, Allan! We had a great time!

Yannis our guide was AMAZING! Very flexible when our flight was delayed and really showed us London proper, in a very short 16 hour layover. Very polite and informative! This is definitely a must do!

Great tour of London on a time crunch. Riding around in a classic black cab was a lot of fun. Alan was very knowledgeable and accommodating with our requests. We highly recommend this tour.

Alan was a wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable tour guide! We had a blast and got to see a lot without having to worry about transportation. We only had a day before moving on to our next destination so if you want to see a lot in a little time, I highly recommend this tour!

Alan saved our entire vacation! My significant other and I spent several days in another Country (that ended up being a very unfavorable experience) and only had one night in London before our last flight back home at noon the next day. We originally scheduled our tour to begin at 7pm, but unfortunately our flight was delayed, we experienced difficulty finding our hotel, traffic was horrendous, etc. I messaged Alan to inform him of our delay and apologized for the inconvenience. I did not ask to reschedule to a later time as I respect that he has planned his evening around our originally scheduled time, but to my surprise he offered to push the time back and reassured me not to worry or stress. I was absolutely overjoyed and grateful! We met him at the later time and had a BLAST learning about London as well as taking photos to remember the precious memories we were making. He knows all the perfect photo spots and is just wonderful to converse with. We couldn’t have been happier with the entire experience. We can’t wait to go back and book another tour with Alan :)

Ricky took us on a fabulous Christmas Lights Tour of London. He not only took us to the best places, he provided us with a little London history as well. Very fun, clever and considerate. Even stopped to get us some food on our way back to the hotel.

Love the tour! It was a great combination of seeing the Christmas lights, visiting a Christmas market, and touring the city.

High point of an amazing trip overall!! Cheryl was great setting everything up, and our driver Yiannis was amazing too!! He really brought London to life for us and the see through roof in the cab made going beneath the lights so cool. :)

We booked a 3 hour Christmas Lights Taxi Tour. Barry our driver was fantastic and very knowledgeable. He even went out of his way to collect and drop off me and my family off close to where we live. We all had a great time as Barry expertly navigated the busy London streets. The lights were fantastic and there’s so many to see! Would highly recommend this tour.

We had a fabulous Christmas Lights viewing experience with Paul our driver with London Taxi tours! Despite the hordes of visitors that descended on London to view the holiday decorations, Paul navigated through the crowds with his expert touch. His skills were amazing! We stopped at all the hot spots and felt like celebrities as we exited his cab to snap some pictures before moving on. His patience and good nature were only surpassed by the depth of his knowledge about London that he shared with us. Don’t fight the crowds - let Paul be your guide!

Fantastic Christmas light tour. Booked and many roads were closed due to a massive demonstration. Alan was very accommodating and let us decide to go the next night when we wouldn't be impacted by the closures. His son, Lee, took us. The communication in advance from each of them was perfect. On the night of our tour, Lee took us to see many sights. He avoided traffic areas while still seeing all the great sights. It was a bit of a London tour plus lights tour. He gave us many suggestions for the rest of our stay including ideas on which areas to group together and which were walking distance from our hotel. As lights are going up every day, he explored new areas when he saw new displays on our drive. He stopped at a great hotel for a comfortable bathroom stop and he stopped at many lights to allow us to take pictures. It rained a bit on our tour and it really didn't impact us. In fact he even pulled over to wipe down the outside windows so we would have a better view. Can't imagine a better experience. Highly recommend Lee and his dad Alan.

Our driver Paul was amazing! He made sure we saw the major landmarks, Christmas lights and more. Highly recommend this tour, especially if short on time in London.

We were picked up in a lovely brand new electric cab with panoramic glass roof. The driver was knowledgeable and showed us so much of London by night. We even stopped for hot chocolate en route. Definitely recommend Cheryl and her team, so professional throughout . Thanks again for helping us enjoy London. We can’t wait to come back!

Pros: Car was clean. Pick up at our hotel. Nice driver. Cons: Content not worth the price. We had done the Premier Classic London: Private 4-hour Tour in a Black Cab during the day. We had done it the day before taking this night tour. That day tour was fabulous. You can see my review. So, this night tour ad uses the marketing that London is different at night, and they post some pics at night that look nice, but the reality is that the day tour with the above company was really well run by our driver, and he had detailed information of each site we visited. For this night tour we visited many of the same spots, and the lighting was not really that impressive. It wasn't with $450 that's for sure. Our driver took some photos for us, but he had difficulty getting the right composition and background, so we just ended up taking pics of ourselves. Driver was super nice, and he knew some of the history, but he was just not as informed as the driver we had at the above company. We ended about 15 minutes early, and we just asked to be taken home. I would recommend for sure the 4hour tour with the above company during the day, but skip the night tour. I would give it 1 star, but I'm giving it 2 stars only because the driver was a super nice fellow trying to make a buck. He was essentially retired and filling in for his son.

What an amazing night tour we had. We were picked up at the Gatwick airport by our driver Gavin. He was an amazing tour guide that gave us a wonderful tour of London. He took us to all the places we wanted to go too including a few lessor know spots. The highlight was Abbey Road spot that my daughter ( Abbey ) wanted to stop at. Gavin then took us back to Gatwick after our tour. I would highly recommend Visit London Taxi Tours and ask for Gavin. You can't go wrong.

What a wonderful way to start our trip! From start to finish our guide, Ollie, was a great host. He met us on time at our hotel and quickly learned all 5 of our names and took us to all the famous places and provided just enough information to keep it interesting. We did a bit of walking around and when he learned how much I like history and enjoyed the Churchill War Rooms he took us to a special spot with a bench with figures of Churchill and Roosevelt. He gladly took photos for us and made the evening of our arrival such fun. I would like to mention how professional Cheryl in the office was too. She answered all my questions and kept me informed as my trip got closer. We also had them do our airport to hotel transfer and the Windsor Castle day tour, which were wonderful. Do not hesitate to book with them. They exceeded expectations.

Alan gave us a great night tour of London! We got off a cruise and had to fly out the next day but still wanted to see London. This was the perfect option for that. Alan drove us around and gave us the history of the city and various landmarks. We saw so much more than we would have if we had tried to do it on our own with no rental car. He even acted as our personal photographer at times by taking us to to photographic sites and then offering to take pictures of us all together. Great experience. Highly recommended.

My husband and I were in England for less than 24 hours (many of those hours after 2200). We wanted to make the most of it so we decided on taking the private night taxi tour. Lee, our tour guide, was INCREDIBLE! He knows his way all over the city, including areas non-locals would never know about. He took us to see all sides of attractions! He knows his history, too and gave us a lot of great background on places we visited. Lee really makes the tour YOUR tour! He will customize where you go and what you see based on your likes and dislikes! He can customize based on history, famous places, famous people, royalty, literature, theater, music, architecture, geology, and so much more! We learned a lot. We saw a lot! We had such a great time! If I make it back to England, I will definitely take another taxi tour with Lee! He is literally the best tour guide we've ever had in 60+ years!

We booked this tour for the first night we were in London. It was perfect because you get to have a great overview of everything and decide if you would like to go back. Terry our driver was probably the best tour guide I have ever experienced. He was knowledgeable but also light hearted. Terry was perfect because if we wanted him to take a picture he would but if we wanted just to do our own he didn’t bother us. Terry truly made our experience unforgettable.

Very happy with these folks. I made an error booking online but they were able to scramble and find a driver for us at the last minute. Alan was terrific - he knew the city like the back of his hand. Traffic was awful the night we went because of the rail strike but he never got irritated. The lights really were amazing - something you definitely need to see if you’re going to London at Christmas.

Booked this as a special Christmas treat for my wife and disabled mother-in-law, who had been house-bound for past 2 years. Excellent personal service from Cheryl who arranged a fantastic taxi tour from Yiannis on Boxing Day- who was a great tour guide and driver. Saw amazing Christmas lights and ship displays as well as some parts of hidden London that we didn't know about - such as the last stables in Central London. Perfect way to see London at night without being jostled by crowds or getting road rage in traffic!

This is a very worthy night out in The Big Smoke,have your own private black cab tour the city Xmas lights and learn historical fact that you just won't know...gonna go back for some more historical base cab tours .. would highly recommend ( Lee are cabbie was a top bloke ) Go on actually have some fun and get some culture...you will be glad you have.....

This tour was easy to book and Cheryl confirmed everything I wanted to query in advance. We were informed who our taxi driver would be and he called 20 mins before our meet time to tell us where he would be. Once on our way we sat back and enjoyed the lights while having a laugh and a glass of Prosecco !! We made several stops for photos and had a very enjoyable 3 hours . The taxi had a glass roof which was brilliant . Our driver was very knowledgeable and gave us a memorable evening

We couldn’t have asked for better , what a gentleman Glen is. He went above and beyond for us to make sure my great aunt got to see everything she wanted to see. She struggles getting around and Glen made sure he made it as easy as possible for her at all times. As well as making my children really comfortable and giving them snacks which was really kind of him and so unexpected. He was an absolute pleasure to tour with and feel like we struck gold. Glen if you get to read this. Thank you , it meant the world to be able to bring my great aunt to London to see the lights and you made that happen for her. I have to mention Cheryl as well. Fantastic communication and so helpful with all the train strikes/World Cup dates she stayed in contact with us and made sure we got the date that worked for us. Thank you visit London taxi tours. What a complete treat. Lee was ready early to pick us up, and was the NICEST cabbie. We had a fantastic tour including some secret spots that we Londoners didn’t know about. We were super lucky as we had a snow storm during our tour, it was like a scene from “Love Actually”. It doesn’t matter whether you are born within the range of the Bow Bells OR were born somewhere else . This is a sports rrip. We had such a nice time. Our driver, Steve, was very attentive & friendly. You are able to see all the Christmas lights, take photos in front of the trees & have walks here & there to soak up the atmosphere. I highly recommend this Company.

OMG!!! We had an incredible week in London, but this tour was the absolute highlight, primarily due to our fantastic guide Terry. The night tour with Terry was like having an old family friend drive you around his favorite places. Terry knows all the places to park the taxi so we could get out and take pictures—can’t believe how much of London we were able to cover in 3 hours. Terry is incredibly fun, personable and knowledgeable. We had the absolute best time! I cannot recommend this highly enough. We were cousins in our 60s, but this would be great for families or people who wanted to see the lights, but have mobility problems. Terry was very patient and took great pictures of us. I just wish I had a better camera phone. What a fun evening!
