London By Night Illuminated River Official Boat Tour

The sights themselves were beautiful at night - very lovely to see everything lit up. However, we got in line early in order to get seating on the outside deck for the best views. Unfortunately, despite there being posted signs on the deck to stay seated/no standing, people came out from inside and stood all around the seating area so that no one sitting on the deck could see. Everyone who was seated had to get out of their seats in order to have just partial views. This was very frustrating and I felt that someone on the crew should have enforced the rule as to not ruin the experience for other patrons. I would not recommend this tour for this reason. If you are okay with sitting inside for partial views then it might be worth it.

This tour takes travelers comfortably on the Thames River where bridges are illuminated at night. There are restaurants nearby, convenient for a bite before the tour. The boat is modern and seating is comfortable.

Amazing experience, seeing london under this lights are a must see. You can chose to seat inside or outside, the whole tour is narrated and they have a nice bar with good drink selection.

Excellent way to see the sights in London. Lovely 40 minute cruise with views of London Bridge, the eye, cutty sark, and the royal palace.

I really enjoyed the Uber Boat tour in London. It was comfortable, well-organized, and offered fantastic views of the city from the Thames. A fun and memorable experience!

A beautiful way to see London at night. The city’s landmarks look incredible lit up from the Thames, and the whole experience feels calm, cosy, and unexpectedly magical. Warm seating, smooth ride, and just the right amount of commentary. Passing under Tower Bridge was the highlight the lights reflecting on the water were stunning. A perfect winter activity if you want to see London from a completely different perspective.

Sadly didnt attend. Lack of communcation - even though i had messaged, and reminder meant this was missed Msybe next time but who knows

Unfortunately despite being advised to arrive at 9.15pm it was 9.40 before we set off, leaving a long time stood queuing. They use an external party to do the commentary and I think she was a bit cross as she had to rush the start to catch up as we’d already reached the first bridge. That said, the tour was informative and contained useful and sometimes humorous facts about London bridges and architecture. An enjoyable way to spend an evening viewing the beautiful bridges illuminated as part of this interesting project.

This close to a scam! A general taxi-boat used for a special trip. Seats are facing in the wrong direction. Unable to have a view without neck insury. Bad soundsystem so the guide is a blur. So much lights pointing inwards that taking pictures of London by night is impossible. You won't see anything that cannot be seen from the riverbanks. Add to this the constant smell of petrol gasses and the experience is complete.

We had a great time and Derek was super helpful as we had a wheelchair and it was low tide. Thank you Derek for making our day a good one! The Uber boats are a great way to see London. Highly recommended.

Not an open-air boat so views and photo shots are limited and impeded by the ceilings/eaves. Narration was good but hard to discern unless you sit inside. Windows were dirty so couldn’t take photos from inside. Would suggest using an open-air boat with seats on top to maximize photo opportunities. Also, better audio to hear narrator.

I went on the Uber Boat for the first time last night, just on a bit of a whim as I’ve got some spare time at the moment, and I’m so glad I did. Seeing London lit up at night from the river was absolutely beautiful, a really peaceful way to take in the city. I also had a really nice chat with Matt in the onboard coffee shop, he made me a lovely hot chocolate that really hit the spot. The lady with braids who was helping people on and off the boat was also really friendly, though I didn’t catch her name. It was such a warm and welcoming experience all round. I’ll definitely be back again soon!

This has the potential to be awesome but it is poorly executed. When you arrive at the pier, there are 0 signs about the tour or any information even regarding it. Unless you are one of the first 10–15 people on the boat, you don’t get to enjoy the views outside. The lights inside remained on for the length of the tour so even if you wanted to take a picture, you wouldn’t be able to. The man providing the information about the illumination project has zero personality. I was very excited about seeing the city at night from the river but was disappointed.

We decided to go at night to see the buildings all lit up. We were on boat for about 30 minutes and it cost £9 with an oyster card. It was interesting seeing the staff letting people on/off, they have it to a fine art and are a very skilled crew.
