I had such a great time on the Borough Market Sweet Treats, Donuts & Tea Food Tour! I booked the 10am tour, which I’d definitely recommend — the spots we stopped at weren’t busy yet, so we could walk around comfortably, take our time at each stop and really enjoy everything before the crowds arrived. Caroline was an amazing tour guide! She was incredibly knowledgeable, the food and the history of the area, but also kept the whole experience fun and relaxed with great conversation throughout. I actually ended up being the only person booked on my tour, so I basically got a private tour, which made the experience even better! Caroline was just as enthusiastic and engaging despite it only being the two of us. The food was great, the tour was fun, and Caroline made the whole experience memorable. Would absolutely recommend — 10/10!

My experience with Andy on this tour was wonderful! It wasn’t just a tour about donuts; Andy also shared so many fun facts about London and the history behind the different donut shops we visited. Andy is packed with so much knowledge, and he made everything so interesting and fun that the time just flew by. Although it wasn’t my first time in London, I was surprised by how much I learned about the city. & of course, by how many delicious donuts were hiding around every corner. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone and everyone visiting London. And if you do go, definitely do it with Andy!
Jasmine was super friendly and knowledgeable and a lot of fun! We saw so much of London that we haven't seen before and she knew a lot about history too. Thank you Jasmine!
Andy and Kayla were great guides and were very knowledgeable about the Borough area and the doughnuts. Amazing doughnuts and tea.
My daughter and I had the best time. We'll do it again.
Andy was so amazing! He was very friendly, thoughtful and very knowledgeable about the area. He even made sure we were able to get home safely after the tour!
You get 2 experiences for the price of one! A range of tasty doughnuts, including from a Michelin - starred establishment, and also alongside that some very interesting history about the local area around Borough Market and Tower Bridge from a knowledgeable and friendly guide. I lived in London for many years and used to come to this area frequently, but still learnt some really interesting things. So awe-inspiring to visit the exact spots where the likes of Dickens and Shakespeare have gone before - you can’t say you’ve really been to London if you haven’t taken in any of the history of this amazing city. I ended up having a 1:1 tour with Caroline, where we had a lovely chat for a few hours and I learnt some really interesting facts and enjoyed a generous amount of doughnuts! Enough to take some away to enjoy later. I would definitely recommend the tour- you’ll particularly love it if you have a sweet tooth and enjoy history.
5 out of 5 Sarah was a great tour guide and made the tour very fun!! She gave great recommendations and fun facts about the city It was a great time!!!
Sarah was an excellent tour guide!!! She was so fun and bubbly and we learned so much! We love her!!
Sarah was the absolute best! Amazing personality and so knowledgable. Great attitude and made the tour so fun! Definitely recommend. The doughnuts were so good!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **A hidden gem — so much more than donuts** We did this tour as a family with two kids and it was genuinely one of the highlights of our London trip. Our guide Caroline was brilliant — warm, engaging, and wonderful with the children. She had a real gift for bringing the history of Southwark and Borough to life in a way that kept everyone interested, not just the adults. The donuts were delicious (St John's Bakery was the standout), but what surprised us most was how good the tour itself was. It's really a relaxed two-hour walking history of one of London's oldest neighbourhoods, with great food woven through it. The pacing was perfect — never rushed, never boring. Caroline also had excellent local knowledge beyond just the tour stops — she pointed us toward things we never would have found on our own and gave us genuine recommendations for the rest of our time in London, which we really appreciated. It felt like spending the morning with a knowledgeable local friend rather than a tourist experience.
We had a very lovely personal tour with Andy and Caroline. The donuts and tea were so nice and the history/story telling gave us some information and enjoyment that we didn’t expect. We would recommend this tour to anyone who likes donuts and history. Both Andy and Caroline had so many details about London, fun facts, and they were witty too. Must try.
We had a great tour with Jasmine today. A lot of interesting info and really great donuts!
Awesome tour! Delicious doughnuts and great tour guides!
Sarah was delightful. So personable and informative. I had essentially a private tour and we chatted about so much. The donuts were excellent and very fresh. It was well worth my time and money to explore a part of London I didn’t really know.
Calum was knowledgeable and very caring. Really great experience all around.
The tour was very good. Cullen knew the history of the area and the donuts were very good.
Honestly the best way to see parts of London by foot. Amazing doughnuts and be sure to do the detour for tea and cheese. Calum was a friendly and enthusiastic guide who made the experience even more memorable. Would definitely do again!
Amazing donut tour! Loved Buns From Home especially. Sarah was a fantastic guide and very funny!
This tour was fantastic if you want a relaxed and indulgent view of London. I loved all the donut and pastry options, especially Buns From Home. Sarah was also an amazing guide and very funny
what a cute day out! starting with a beautiful tea, heading around sweet (no pun intended) areas of the city & eating the most delicious puddings! Sarah was such a great host, good laughs and brilliant nuggets of information. She gave perfect recommendations; filling mind, body and soul with good food & even better facts. Seven Dials Market had the best banana bread pudding, a must try! Thanks Sarah :))
Amazing time! Sarah was an incredible host, telling us about London history along with the incredible doughnut stops! The last one was my favorite, but plenty of others to enjoy enroute ☺️
The doughnut tour was amazing, some incredible doughnuts to try. Andy and Caroline were lovely and very knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone
We'd been looking forward to this tour for a while, and it did not disappoint! Andy, our guide, was knowledgeable, fun, and enthusiastic, telling us about the area of Southwark and it's history. There were plenty of hidden gems, combined with local info. It was wonderful to walk through Borough market and the doughnuts were super tasty and filling (arrive hungry!). The Bird & Blend tea stop was lovely, a real sweet shop of tea. We'll definitely be booking the West End Doughnut Tour!
Attending with my wife and two daughters, we had a wonderful time on the donut tour. Our host and guide, Andy, was full of information, humour and friendly rapport. A real gem! This experience really makes you feel like a VIP, and that's before you've even chosen your first donut, from the Michelin-starred St. John’s Bakery no less. My first ever vanilla donut and the revelation that is Cherry Bakewell-flavoured tea are just two of the many highlights of this value-laden, two-hour, intimate and energising tour. Like I said about Andy goes for the tour too. A real gem!
Such a lovely quaint way to see the city! We had Andy as our tour guide and you can't ask for a better host! He was patient with us (especially when we were in the tea shop and spent ages trying and smelling tea!) was extremely knowledgeable about London, and was extremely entertaining. The doughnut spots were beautiful, and the doughnuts themselves were delicious (we did our best to eat them all, but we have come home with some!) Whether you're a native or a tourist, if you like a walk and a sweet treat. This is for you! Can't wait for the next one 🍩
We had a wonderful time on our tour. It was just my family and the guide so we had a very special experience. We love the area of the tour (Borough Market) but it was extremely crowded due to the Christmas season. Exciting though. Our guide was able to maneuver around the crowds to get us where we needed to go. Callum was amazing and had insight into the area’s history as well as trivia about movies filmed nearby. The timing was perfect overall. Talking with Callum was fun and getting to know him a bit. One of my favorite stops was the tea shop. We were able to smell some beautiful blends and sample some delicious tea. We also got a nice hot cup of our choice to take away. We really enjoyed the tour!
I think his name was Andy. He spoke with incredible gusto, the air, swagger and confidence of a gentleman from 1800’s. He knew a lot about tea, and had my friends hanging on every word. I’m a bit of a stickler for questions and catching tour guides out. There was no getting past him. He didn’t just like doughnuts, he lived them. Several locals name checked him as he wandered Borough, he seemed to know everyone. His knowledge was incredible. Probably a bit of a jobsworth. But I think when you’re the customer that’s a brilliant attribute to have. If you go for this tour you won’t regret it. But you simply have to ask for Andy. My girlfriend admitted she had a bit of a crush on him. Which was a bit annoying
Had a great time on the donut tour, our guide Andy was friendly, knowledgeable and lovely to talk to! The donuts were amazing and I particularly enjoyed the surprise tea. Would defo recommend as an alternative way to see the sights!
My boyfriend and I took this tour with Andy, on our first day in London and he did not disappoint! We loved every donut and were thrilled to have branded bags to carry our leftovers (there were plenty!) Andy’s knowledge of London history and fun facts kept us engaged, entertained and our bellies full! Thanks again, highly recommend to anyone visiting London for the first time. It’s a great way to get your bearings, we felt quite comfortable walking around town on our own after.
“My father grew up a few blocks from here, and he’s amused at what the neighborhood has turned into.” This begins a special kind of tour, led by Andy, a special kind of tour guide. This tour is sufficiently unique that it is great tour to go in even if you live in London or are a frequent visitor. The tour is in and around Southwark, one of London’s oldest neighborhoods. Andy is clearly passionate about both history and food. Over the course of two hours, he weaves a story of the area, its connection to London Bridge as a conduit for goods into the city since Roman times and its rough character that has gentrified over time. We saw unique sites neither of us had heard of in several past trips to London. I ask some pretty obtuse questions and Andy was able to answer all of them. The donut stops were also unique and amazing, each different from one another (and including a Michelin-starred establishment!). The tea in the middle was a welcome break from sugary starch. Andy also gave us great reccys for the rest of our trip. Really super.
This tour was an awesome way to spend a Saturday morning while in London. Bhavani was an awesome guide sharing so much information about London and specifically the area around the Borough Market. And the donuts… wow! They were all incredible! My favorite is a toss-up between the dark chocolate at Crosstown and the raspberry filled from St.John’s. I highly recommend the tour and Bhavani!!
Had such a great time on the tour and the selection at each stop was great! The lovely Sarah was a brilliant guide, super entertaining and lovely :) Would defo recommend to others!
The Underground Donut Tour is a diamond in the rough, which is beginning to catch on big time. We were blest to have Alex, a gastronomic aficionado, along with his apprentice, Andy as our guides. We saw several significant sites and heard many inside stories, as we stopped at four excellent “donutteries” and an exotic tea shop. Be forewarned that you will get a very substantial donut at each store and will likely be carrying tomorrow’s breakfast home with you. Also, if you don’t like tea, you have a plethora of iced concoctions tailored to suit your fancy! Overall, it was an excellent alternative to the standard London tour. Bravo!
Oscar was a wonderful tour guide!! We had so much fun tasting a plethora of delicious donuts, a variety of refreshing tea, and a lot of laughs along the way. Mix that with some fascinating history and it was a 10/10 experience. It ended with a proposal at Tower Bridge (she said yes!!), and Oscar captured the moment with picturesque photography. I would absolutely recommend the Underground Donut Tour to anyone looking to learn about London, with some personality and sweet treats to boot. Thank you so much Oscar, we will remember this forever!
jasmine was such a great guide! it was her first tour and she killed it. props to her amazing and supportive colleagues for being great team players for her as well as us being guided!
Let me start by saying, I would recommend this tour to anyone looking to have an unconventional walking tour experience that blows any stodgy hodgepodge historical tour out of the water. Our tour guides Oscar, Jasmine, and Sarah felt like long lost friends by the end of the tour, and my party of 3 enjoyed every stop. 10/10 experience!
Oscar was amazing, exremely knowledgable and fun. Showed us so many things more than just donuts. Thank you so much Oscar! Mia
Oscar was great. (Friendly, fun and professional) We had a small group today so everything was perfect. Great history, and great donuts.
Are you ready for doughnuts? I thought I was. This walking tour was a lot of fun. Our tour guide knew quite a bit of history and took us to some out of the way places. You get about five doughnuts on this tour so be prepared. All of the doughnuts were delicious! I really couldn't pick a favorite. The Birds ad Blend tea shop that we stopped at was so good that I have been ordering from the store since we got back to the U>S.
Very informative tour. Bhavani was super nice and had great energy. We loved our time with her and learned a lot! Great guide.
We had a great experience with Oscar on this tour! The entire route was wheelchair-friendly and everyone was very accommodating. The doughnuts and the tea tasting left us in awe as well. Thank you very much for the experience!
I cannot say enough good things about this tour, as well as our guide, Oscar. Our younger son celebrated his 11th birthday on the day of our tour, and Oscar made him feel like a king. Knowledgeable, funny, and interactive, we enjoyed walking to the various establishments with him. Our time in the Borough Market was also amazing. Do not hesitate to book this tour - they operate in other cities as well, so we plan to do it again on other trips.
What a fun excursion! We loved our guide and enjoyed the many places that we visited! The doughnuts were amazing, and the tea was wonderful! We highly recommend this tour!!! You won't regret it!
This tour was great. Delicious donuts, a great historic walk, and Bhavani was so lovely! Would definitely recommend, 10/10!
Bhavani was an amazing and fun guide. She was very interesting and kept out tour fun and entertaining. Her knowledge of the history was amazing and i was very impressed
This tour was great. Delicious donuts, a great historic walk, and Bhavani was so lovely! Would definitely recommend, 10/10!
This was a great way to get our kids to learn a little about London while also seeing some sites and having fun while doing it. It was one of the first times the kids were actually excited to do a walking tour. The donuts were delicious (and huge). The tea stop was a great break in the middle of all the sweets. Our guide was fun and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone looking for a fun and unique family activity.
Had a lovely tour with Bhavani our tour guide..She was very knowledgable and told us lots of history and facts as we went along. The doughnuts were amazing too.
A very nice tour - highly recommend! Darren was great. Very knowledgable and fun to talk to. He was very hospitable and offered to take photos of us at the major hallmarks. The donuts and tea were all included and very nice. Well worth the tour and would definitely do it again!
