We really enjoyed the tour. Richard proved he is a Beatles expert and shared many interesting facts and stories.

The guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. The information was thoroughly detailed and interesting.
Excellent tour…Richard provide great insights & highlighted the destinations we had hope to see…very accommodating for all
The tour was interesting, I’d always been keen to have a look around the area where much of the Beatles history in London was made. The guide was extremely knowledgeable but I really didn’t need to hear self promotion about his daughter and her connections, his winning a prize about his Beatles knowledge, where to buy his book etc
Lovely tour! Very knowledgeable and informative. The highlight of course was getting up photo of my son Crossing Abbey Road ( it's a crowded public space but it's easy to edit people in cars out with AI so we ended up with a fantastic shot). But an unexpected highlight was that we learned how to use the tube!
Richard was wonderful! Even though I'm a big Beatles fan I learned some new facts and thoroughly enjoyed the tour! He kept the focus on the Beatles not himself and I appreciated that, very professional, and it was relaxed yet stayed on time. Highly recommended!
Wow, Richard really knows a lot about the Beatles. I was very impressed with all the knowledge and photos that he had to share. It’s a good amount of walking which I enjoyed but if someone isn’t up to walking for up to two hours and standing, then this is not for you … highlight was Abbey Road for sure! Cheers, Richard it made for a great morning!
It's a pretty long walk but it's worth it. Richard is great, very knowledgeable and friendly. We learned a lot about the Beatles and all kinds of unexpected events related to the band.
Top notch! It was a great tour, and a wonderful way to start our trip. We learned so much about the Beatles and can’t wait to go home and watch the films that were covered as part of the tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and fun. Overall a great experience.
Ian was a fantastic guide and just all around enjoyable person! What made this tour particularly great was his passion for and knowledge about both the music scene in London, and his intricate knowledge of the city. And he went out of his way to show us more hidden areas of London. I have already recommended this tour (with Ian's name, of course) to 2 friends from here in the US who plan to travel to the UK in 2026.
We enjoyed a tour around London taking in the highlights of places the Beatles frequented. Very enjoyable and the guide was very knowledgeable
Andy was an awesome guide. Very knowledgeable, lots of anecdotes that were new to us and little bit of humor thrown in along the way. Would thoroughly recommend this tour to any hard core Beatles fan as you will be surprised by the plethora of new facts/insights you will gain from this tour - for everyone else, it’s a fantastic 2 hour long walk through a beautiful part of London filled with fun facts and ending with you mimicking the infamous zebra crossing walk!
Lots of info and locations of where they lived and played music. I did feel we walked a lot like in circles but I could be wrong. Also the guide was knowledgeable but if he could hold the pictures in his notebook straight we could have seen them better. Abby Road was fun!
This tour is a must for Beatles fans. We got to see many places we heard about for years. Our guide was terrific & knowledgeable
Great! Guide was very knowledgeable and personable . Loved seeing all the places the Beatles lived and wrote songs.
Fun tour. Saw a lot of interesting sights. Tour guy got to Abbey Road even though the Metro was down.
This was an excellent and engaging tour which truly proved Richard’s status as lifelong superfan and historian. We truly appreciated his anecdotes and inside scoop— a truly fantastic experience! Highly recommend.
Richard is a very knowledgeable guide. He practically knew all the answers to questions on the Beatles. He is also very organized. Before the tour, I received an email informing me of where they would be just in case I missed them at the meeting point. He also made sure we were all together when we rode the train going to Abbey Road.
Great tour! Very knowledgeable about the Beatles history also pointed out other landmarks of interest. The pace of the walk seemed like it was good for all various ages of the participants
Richard was an amazing guide and certainly knew many fun facts about the history of the Beatles. We definitely bought his book at the end of the tour!
The tour is interesting and informative, but the guide, although polite, is a little too "professional", he seems to repeat the same script faithfully, without really interacting with the group.
My son is a huge Beatles fan and this tour was perfect for our family. We really enjoyed meeting Richard. Richard knows so many facts and took his time to answer all of our questions. The tour is worth the $$. We even bought Richard’s book! I highly recommend it.
We loved all the interesting Beatles and music facts! It was a lot of walking but we went at a good pace.
We absolutely loved our Beatles Magical Mystery Tour with Richard. He was engaging, knowledgeable and so much fun! Richard is a great storyteller and wonderful guide; he kept a pace that everyone could keep up with and made sure no one was left behind and everyone could hear his commentary. Favorite highlights were the building where the rooftop concert took place and the zebra crossing at Abbey Road.
Abby road and studio. Too many people in the group. Need smaller groups so you can hear. Would have liked it to move at a faster pace.
The photos in his book were very helpful. Also, good anecdotes about the filming of the movies and apartments.
We visited lots of locations from A Hard Days Night and houses some of the Beatles lived in. Brilliant
Richard was an extremely knowledgable guide who livened up the experience. Would recommend. Would’ve been perfect if we could have visited Savile Row
What a fantastic tour!!! Lots great photos and stories about the music history of The Beatles. So happy we had the opportunity to meet. Most recommend .
If you are a Beatles fanatic , like me, you will geek out on this fun walk through the Beatles London hangouts of the mid to late 60’s! The host is very knowledgeable with lots of fun facts and tidbits. He also has a cool scrapbook with interesting pictures to animate his stories.
Really enjoyable walking tour with Richard, very informative and interesting. My 14 year old Beatles obsessed son absolutely loved it.
Richard was an awesome guide with tons of knowledge about the Beatles. He handled the rain that we had to endure without missing a beat and was helpful how to take pictures on a very busy Abbey Road crosswalk. I highly recommend this tour for any Beatles fan.
Richard was a great tour guide. He provided a fact filled and interesting walk around key Beatles' locations. He was also very considerate of keeping the group together when moving through the busy streets and the underground.
The tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and took us to many classic locations. It’s a great deal for the price and I highly recommend it!
Last year when visiting London I did the Magical Mystery Tour walk. I loved it so much that when my wife and I decided to make a return trip to London this year, I booked the In My Life tour immediately. If you were to ask me which tour to take - In My Life or Magical Mystery Tour - my answer is...both if you can! But if you have to choose just one...well...pick which day you want to go and base your decision on that, or just toss a coin -- seriously, both are equally great. Richard is incredibly knowledgeable - I'm a Beatles nerd who can't answer a simple Beatles question without giving a two-hour lecture, and I STILL learned new stuff on both tours! He's great at answering questions and isn't afraid to admit if he doesn't know --- but good luck finding a question he doesn't know the answer to! Some helpful advice for visitors doing the In My Life tour -- to get to the starting point at Marylebone Station, Google Maps wanted me to take the Jubilee line to the Baker Street station and walk to Marylebone, but the truth is, if you get off at Baker Street and follow the signs to Marylebone, you take the Bakerloo line just one stop and you're right there at Marylebone - that was super-easy and guaranteed I wouldn't get lost. :) Make sure you bring cash to cover the cost of the tour, and you WILL want to leave Richard a nice tip. Seriously, next time I'm in London, I will strongly consider doing one of these tours AGAIN!
Abbey Road and the Marleybone neighborhood. ...too many on the tour so it was quite impersonal. The guide was well versed but didnt ask if anyone wanted to go to the Loo
The tour brought back a lot of memories of my pre teen years! Guide was very knowledgeable and provided us with a lot of Beatles trivia. We were happy that he had a loud enough voice so we could all hear clearly.
Richard was an awesome tour guide! REALLY knows his Beatles history! I’d recommend this tour to all Beatles fans.
Very knowledgeable and personable guide. Brings the Beatles story in London to life. Interesting to see some of the film locations.
A walk through the Beatles London neighborhood. A good experience from a extremely knowledgeable guide. You want this tour with the most experienced guide.
Visiting all the sites that I remember hearing about as a Beatle fan growing up. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the Beatles. I would recommend that the tour guides on all three tours I took get the tour group involved by interacting more with the group that is on the tour-where they are from or anything interesting about them. We had plenty of time between walk and time on bus for these interactions.
It was obvious from the start that Richard knew what he was talking about, and we were going to learn more about the Beatles that we expected. We were not disappointed.
Richard, new his stuff and the tour was a Beatles fan delight. Be careful on the Abbey Road Crossing - madness
We totally enjoyed our Beatles tour! Fun to learn interesting details and walk through your beautiful city! Thanks!
To be honest, I’ve loved the Beatles since 1964. So, seeing we’re they used to live and work in Ali don was pure bliss. There will never be another group like them. They changed the world, my life and for the better.
Obviously the Abby road walk! Richard was very kind and extremely informative. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone who loves the Beetles as much as he does.
We loved seeing all the interesting places where things happened. I wouldn't go so far as to say the tour was spiritual, but still exciting to see. When we returned home and told some friends we went on the Beatles Tour, they each said "Wow, that's so cool!! They are right; it really was cool to see all the sights Richard pointed out and how he shared many interesting and humourous stories about what went on in that neighborhood.
Great tour. Highly recommend for any Beatles fans. Tour guide was excellent, knowledgable and told some great stories ! Will be booking again with friends
The guide on this tour has extensive knowledge about the Beatles and the information shared could be excellent. Unfortunately, there is no limit to the number people he will include in each walking tour. I have done MANY walking tours as I believe you learn more about the area. I booked through Viator as I believed this would be a sanctioned tour. I counted well over 50 people on this walking tour around the streets of London. I asked the guide before departing did he have a limit to the number of people as he kept taking cash from people turning up. He told me he had a loud voice. He was right! He needed to yell to ensure everyone could hear. This tour was not for me. I love the connection you can usually get on our walking tour and the understanding of the area or subject you are viewing. The guide needs to limit his numbers and I'm sure this would happen.
The sights we were walked to were all very interesting especially where some of the scenes from different Beatle films were set. Abbey Road crossing was incredible.
