Outstanding review of the Beatles history and the evolution of the British music scene. Fast paced and got to see many important landmarks of British music. Abbey Road was a highlight but there were numerous other interesting sites along the way.

Amazing experience. Lots of iconic places you would not see otherwise. Peter knows a lot about rock n roll history. Plus he registers the whole trip with pictures and sends you links with lots of info about banda producers and story of how iconic music was created. We loved it so much when we come back we ll book it again.
Peter is a walking Rock and Roll Almanac. We teach our kids to be passionate in whatever they choose to do. Peter understands Passion and lives and breathes it everyday in his love for Bristish Rock. I personally loved the tour and he literally bent over backwards in navaigating the streets of London to accommodate us. Being a drummer myself, I was as familiar with almost everyone he talked about until he asked the first question he asked us. Who was the drummer for the Rolling Stones? The name was on my tongue but for whatever reason, I could not come up with it. “Charlie was good tonight”spoken by Mick. Maybe it was the previous 48 hours I was in the hopistal having surgery? I don’t know, LOL. You will love Peter and his sense of humor!
A friend recommended Peter, her group had been on this tour several years ago. We contacted him and he was very easy to work with. He gave us an amazing half day tour with so much information about the history of music in London. He is a wealth of knowledge and provides you with links to music and the stories of the Beatles and other music legends. 👍🏻 We now have a great memory to keep and look back on. Thanks Peter.
Peter shared a wealth of information. It was a fun day and we enjoyed many interesting sites and stories. He takes great pictures and I appreciate all of the link he sent so I could continue learning.
Peter was the most informative and knowledgeable guide. We went to places and sites that showed influences and people that helped make the Beatles. We learned things that were extremely interesting. I would highly recommend him. His expertise made the experience one that will remain with me for many years.
Peter was wonderful he picked us up at hotel and brought us all around showing us all the different music history. He is very passionate about his knowledge of musicians . He goes above and beyond. It was our best tour!
Peter was phenomenal. So knowledgeable so interesting and so much fun. Best experience.
I took a day long tour with Peter back in April and I’m still thinking about it daily. He could not have been more fun and professional, plus he had an answer for every question! I look forward to returning to London and taking another tour with Peter in the future
We had a fab time yesterday. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Michael. He is a music fan (and a drummer in a band!) and his enthusiasm for The Beatles and London shines through this tour. He is very knowledgeable about the history of The Beatles and the city of London and the four hour tour was over too quickly. I’m a huge John Lennon fan and we had some banter about our individual opinions of some Beatles folklore! We saw the major Beatles sites (apart from Abbey Road as it was closed for filming) and Michael never grew tired of taking our photos! Thank you for a great tour - it was a pleasure to have met you.
As a lifelong Beatles and 60s music fan, I was thrilled to retrace the steps of my rock heros. I learned a lot of the origins of the London music scene, all the coincidences and chance meetings, and the comradities amongst the likes of The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Dylan, Hendrix, Bowie, The Who, and on and on. To see where the recording studios were, and the mecca of Abbey Road was to feel the presence of these legends. Peter and provided volumes of backup info regarding the sights and stories from the tour, much of which I am still reading. I recommend anybody who enjoys such an immersive experience from this high-energy, knowledgeable, and articulate guide to book this tour with Peter Mulcahey!
Tour guide Pete was very welcoming and friendly, very passionate and clearly knew his stuff. We couldn’t of had a better tour, would definitely recommend to any avid beatles fan.
The tour was amazing and VERY informative. Peter drove us around in his London cab. We were offered water and a snack. We stopped at numerous places for photo ops. The toured finished with a walk in SOHO. Peter dropped us off at a great little restaurant.
Greetings of Goodness! Peter is an outstanding storyteller offering glorious historical insight into London’s music chronology and more! Peter’s active listening and presence throughout our time with him ensured that our tour was relevant and responsive to the curiosities of all my family members. Every step of the way we were engaged by the physical spaces, and offered personal connections to ensure our new knowledge connected to our lived experiences. Peter offered us access to a curated list of expanded resources that will ensure our learning continues to flourish beyond our time with him. Thank you Peter for sharing your research and passion! Your expertise and care will continue to bloom in the year ahead. We are grateful for our time together and look forward to our next London adventure! Peace and blessings and good vibrations everyday!
Holy cow!!! Peter is phenomenal! If there is a fact about the Beatles (or London rock music as a whole) Peter not only knows it but has the evidence to back it up! We learned things, saw things, photographed places all over London. He knows the big details and the little details. He is your family photographer the whole time. We ended up with so many special family photos at the most iconic of places. But, he has sent me so many videos and stories about all the places we visited. It is going to take me weeks to watch all the videos and I can't wait! Plus, he showed us where to get the best coffee in Soho! If you are on the fence, just do it. He drives and walks so you can see so much more of the city.
We had a fantastic day with Peter. We went for the ultimate Beatles full day tour and learned an incredible amount not only about the Beatles but also all the other musicians impacted by them. This tour included so many spots in London that would likely go unnoticed by most visitors even though they had a significant impact on the music industry and so many artists. Peter is extremely knowledgeable, is ready at every step to document each site with photographs for you and provides in depth information so you can learn more later. You can tell he truly enjoys what he does which makes the experience that much better. Highly recommend
This is a fabulous tour if you want to learn about the Beatles and the early beginnings of rock and roll! Our guide, Jack gave us the perfect experience! A great afternoon!
Our group of three American Beatles fans wanted to take a tour of London sights that included the Abbey Road studios and famous album cover crosswalk. We are so delighted to have been able to arrange a private cab tour with Peter. One of our group has need of a wheelchair and Peter was able to accommodate us comfortably and was so helpful getting us out and about for photo opps and to show us wonderful historic sites related to the Beatles and other important music figures from the time including the Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix and many others who had a hand in the story and evolution of the Beatles. Peter, our guide, even had a personal connection to Pete Best and offered a very interesting story of how his mother won a bet on a horse that made a difference in the lives of the future Beatles. Peter is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the London music scene generally. I highly recommend his tour to those who are interested as we were in the places and history of the Beatles in London. We walked about an hour or so of the tour, got out of the cab for photos a number of times and viewed quite a bit from the cab as well. Peter was great at taking photos for us as well.
We had a lovely tour led by Peter and team. We went beyond just Beatles and learned the history of music in London with stops including Abbey Road, SoHo, and much, much more. Peter took our questions and interests and tailor-made a tour that engaged folks from ages 13-62. Would HIGHLY recommend early on your trip to London as you learn so much history about the city.
An incredible tour with Peter! The information and details were extraordinary. Truly gained an appreciation for how the best of the best got started. Thank you Peter!!
I believe having a down to earth knowledgeable guide is the best you can ask for. We got a Fantastic guide! Stella knows a lot about everything London.
Just completed a Beatles tour with Peter Mulcahy and highly recommend him. His knowledge about the Beatles was so impressive that it went way beyond our expectations and he not only shares his knowledge of the Beatles but you also learn about so many other famous rock and roll musicians and how they were connected. His facts are very detailed and the amount of stops made on the tour were all so interesting. We left with a much greater appreciation for what the Beatles did for all of London’s rock and roll scene. His cab was clean and comfortable and he was a lot of fun to spend time with. Thank you Peter!
Peter offered up a jam-packed tour for us, centered around The Beatles, but wove in all sorts of local and global history. Super funny guy with a big personality. Would love to grab a few beers with him and keep the conversations going!
Absolutely amazing! Far exceeded our expectations! A must if you love music and the Beatles. Peter is extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. Highly recommended this wonderful experience!
Great day seeing areas of London that are off the beaten path. Peter is passionate about music and has a lot mod knowledge.
Great trip with a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in the London music scene and current music locations around the city.
Peter was absolutely fantastic—engaging, informative, and full of stories so wild and detailed, they have to be true (because honestly, no one could make this stuff up). His passion for Beatles history was contagious, and the tour struck the perfect balance between famous landmarks and behind-the-scenes gems. Whether you're a lifelong fan or just along for the ride, Peter makes it memorable. 10/10 recommend.
The Beatles and coffee go together. Who knew? Any tour that Your London Cabbie offers is a winner next level. This one especially is such a special experience. One of a kind gem. Peter the owner makes the world open up, history come to life and you learn not only about London, the Beatles & music, coffee but also the evolution of humanity, societies, economics and more. Wherever you’re from in the world you’ll learn more about what created your own culture and how it all intertwines. We learned so much and had a blast. And he usually saves the best for last… I stop over to meet Joseph at the deli he and his wife have that is a local favorite…also the best Beatles cafe in London…where everything is made with love. All you need. So much fun. I’m now a London local and anytime friends or family come to town we book time with Peter and Your London Cabbie.
Peter was fantastic! So much info about the birth of Rock and Roll, The Beatles, Hendrix, the Stones, you name it! So many pictures of pivotal Rock and Roll POI's. Highly reccomend Peter, put on your running shoes, it's gonna be a whirlwind tour!
My son who is 11, and an avid Beatles fan, was very excited to take this tour. And Peter did not disappoint! His wealth of information about the Beatles is astonishing and we all loved listening to his insights and stories. Throughout the day Peter was very engaging and went out of his way to ensure everyone had fun. Peter even curated the tour based on his conversations with my son between stops. When I asked my son after the tour what his favorite part was, he responded "all of it!" It truly was an experience my son will never forget
Peter gave us a detailed and personal tour of not only The Beatles but the musicians and people who influenced them and who where influenced by then. The information we learned was mind blowing. We have already booked a Beatles tour with Peter, but now for Liverpool.
Peter was an EXCELLENT guide. I randomly met him at the Beatles coffee shop outside of the St. John’s Wood station on my way to Abbey Road Studios on my own and we ended up doing a mini music history tour. He is so knowledgeable and fun and you’ll learn so much you didn’t know about all the ways the Beatles thrived in London. A true magical mystery tour!!
If you think you know everything Beatles & British Music Artists, take Peter's tour to find out just how much you don't know! He takes you back to places where music history happened with factual stories that leave you in awe of his knowledge & give you a feeling of having been there for it all. Focused, with a wry sense of humor, Peter's tour was our best ever & one we will never forget!
Highly recommend this tour for the Beatles enthusiasts and anyone wanting to learn more about the back history of the Beatles and other music icons from the that period. My husband and I were shown much more than expected on our tour. Peter's knowledge of the Beatles and London's local music history in general was phenomenal! We would do this tour again.
This was my second time taking this tour . YES! It’s that GOOD!! He will customize the tour to highlight the things you are most interested in. You learn so many interesting things! He takes the time to let you take pictures. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
This is simply one of those WOW tours. Years after your holiday you will think back, and above all, remember the Beatles tour with Peter. I can not imagine being with someone with more Beatles and general music knowledge than Peter. He not only gives you the main stories behind some of the great bands of the 60s and 70s, but also the related and somewhat obscure stories behind them. Peter then weaves this tapestry of interconnected events that almost seem impossible until you study each one. Do you want to know about all the stories connected to the Beatles? Then take this tour and you’ll never regret it
Great tour!!! Peter qas an excellent guide and show us lots of places, thinga and knowledge of the Beatles!!! He explain and give us many insights that we didn’t expect. Great tour don’t miss the opportunity to learn and enjoy this wonderful experience. Thanks for everything Peter!!!
It is an extremely cheap price, Peter has a lot of knowledge about London and especially in the area of music (he knows all about the Beatles and rock in general), he took the time to do a tour specialized for my family's musical tastes, he drives excellently and has a friendliness that few others Tour guides have a very pleasant conversation and above all, they taught us the most important parts of London rock. If you have the possibility of doing a tour with him, do it. Regards, José.
The tour was amazing. Peter was a great guide. He made sure I focused on the sightseeing. He followed up with links of all the places we visited. As a world traveler, is the first time I was provided with links of places visited. It was so informative! I was able to read after the tour and better appreciate all of the places that London has to offer and the history behind it. Strongly recommend taking this tour with Peter. He is funny, pleasant and very knowledgeable of the history of London.
Peter is perhaps the best guide ever. He made the entire outing personal and super interesting and informative. The excursion was so much better and more than we expected or even hoped for. We experienced do much musical history of London that my head is spinning and I will be reading reference articles fir weeks. Wow, what a great day!
Peter is a very experimented person. He knows everything about the Beatles and also he send us the links about the facts that he was talking.
This was an unbelievable experience! Peter showed us all of the amazing London music scene connections. I don’t want to ruin it for others but it was amazing. Yes, you see the major Beatles places, including Abbey Road. That is just one of many. I would do this again.
My daughter and I took a trip to London, and being the Beatles fans we are, we found it criminal to not take a proper Beatles tour. Luckily, Peter was able to accommodate us last minute and thus we took the Beatles tour of a lifetime. While Peter was very knowledgeable about the history of the four part band, he was also able to highlight how the music scene in London was interconnected not only among the musicians and their contacts with one another, but also how it was connected to the history of the area. Peter provided a personalized experience that we will remember for a lifetime. From Abbey Road to the holding cells of Mick Jagger, we had a wonderful time exploring the unbelievable sights of London. All in all, not only was it surreal to visit the same locations as some of the most well known musicians, but the company and expertise of Peter made this an experience that we would love to return to the next time we are in London. Thank you Peter for an amazing day!
The reviews regarding Peter’s tour are spot on! He took extra time to find out about us, and then made sure to include things he knew we would enjoy. If you want an extraordinary tour, Peter is your man (as they say in American-English…not to be mistaken with proper English 🤣)! Seriously, we only had a couple of days in London, and Abbey Road was a must see. Peter’s extensive knowledge was only exceeded by his passion about all that Soho gave to the music scene…linked to the history that made it all possible. We will be back, and are planning to connect with Peter for more adventures! Cheers! Hank and Karen
I went on this wonderful trip that my spouse booked. I am a Beatles fan ,but my spouse is into everything from their earliest history. Peter taught me many things , what the lyrics to songs meant , and showed us many hidden places. This second trip to Liverpool was most special. Peter, by application, will do a bespoke Liverpool trip. The look on my spouse's face when we went into the church hall where John met Paul was worth the whole trip. I became more of a Beatles fan because of Peter's enthusiasm and knowledge base. He took us to the Casbah Club, as well as the Cavern. Saw the ferries that cross the Mersey, had a drink in the Philharmonic Ballrooms . Met the Lord Mayor of Liverpool at Strawberry Field. ONLY Peter could have made this happen. His tours are personal, real, and worth every pence ! You absolutely will not regret it, in fact you will have memories for the rest of your life. Book now !!!
Words cannot describe the joy and happiness that we experienced on our bespoke tour of The Beatles' Liverpool. This was our second tour with Peter In 5 months. This tour was by application only as he doesn't offer it with his rarious tours of London. It was beyond description. The visit of course led us to the Casbah Club, Cavern Club, Jacaranda, and other familiar places. It also included rarely seer places too. My special interests included other 1960s Liverpool bands and we visited sites pertaining to them also. Peter throws himself into his tours, and his enthusiasm is infectious. We even met the Lord Mayor of Liverpool who invited us to the town hall to stand on the balcony where the city celebrated the release of A Hard Day's Night film in 1964. There can be no other tour for a die hard fan. So inclusive, so much fun !!! We'll NEVER forget this tour. Already preparing to return to London for more great tours by Peter !!!!
If you are a Beatles or music lover this tour is a must! Peter was and incredible tour guide! He went above and beyond what was expected! This tour lasted way longer than the 3 hours. His knowledge is very impressive. At the end of the tour he send you pictures and information of what you have seen. So worth it and thank you!! The best tour we have been on!!!
Highly recommended me and my family went on the tour we had a great time the guide was really friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks for a great experience
Truly an extraordinary experience. Peter combined incredible knowledge and detail with a warm, thoughtful, humorous and humble approach and delivery. Our 10 year old son and my wife and I learned more in five hours then we might have in an entire semester of college. Peter uniquely took us on a journey of not only deep Beatle history and lore but that of rock and roll in London from its birth as well as American and British history as we went from point to point. There is nothing this man doesn’t know. Simply brilliant
I can't even begin to say how WONDERFUL this tour is. If you are a die hard Beatles fan or just want to see hidden treasures of the clubs and studios that the Beatles and other groups practiced and performed at, Peter is the man to go to. He is an amazing source of knowledge. We rode in his taxi, and walked the neighborhoods that were the "in" places in the 60's. He is also very knowledgeable of London history, ethnic background of the city too. We are already planning to do more tours with him to learn more about Londons' connections to other historic sites. GO ON HIS TOUR ! You won't regret it.
