Pawel's driving kept us on perfect time and Phil's extensive (seemingly endless) and rich knowledge of numerous points along our journey was fascinating. Second tour with Evan Evan's this week and truly can't recommend these folks enough.

Itinerary
Traveling from London to Leeds Castle i a comfortable and luxurious car will offer you a delightful journey of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. as you leave London, you'll pass through charming countryside landscapes and quaint villages, immersing yourself in the beauty of the English countryside. Enjoy the smooth ride and the anticipation of exploring the historical Leeds Castle upon arrival. On our return journey from Dover Cliffs to London, the scenic rout back may take around 2 hours and 30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Take your time to soak in the sights and make the most of your luxurious journey.
Often referred to as 'The Loveliest Castle in The World', Leeds Castle has played many roles in its nearly 900-year history. From a Norman stronghold to a magnificent royal palace, the castle today has been converted by subsequent owners into an idyllic countryside retreat. With 500 acres of parkland and landscaped gardens to explore, it's easy to see why this beautiful castle has been the private property of no fewer than six English queens. The Princess Alexandra Gardens alongside the River Len is a carpet of Daffodils, Narcissi, and Anemones presenting a vibrant burst of colour. Later in the year, guests are treated to the splendor of Azaleas and Rhododendrons.
Pilgrims and visitors have made their way to Canterbury Cathedral since the Middle Ages. It remains one of the most visited places in the country, and, just as importantly, a working, living church and community. Founded by St Augustine in 600 AD, the Cathedral today is one of the most excellent examples of Gothic architecture in England. The stunning structure welcomes visitors all year round, who come to gaze at the remarkable architecture and visit the very spot where Archbishop Thomas Becket was murdered in 1170.
The City has a rich history dating back to Roman times and is significant in the history of Christianity in England. It is known for its charming medieval streets, historic buildings, and the ruins of St Augustine's Abbey. You can indulge in a variety of delicious British international cuisines for Lunch time. Fish and Chips Cream Tea Kentish Pudding Shepherd's Pie Canterbury Tart
There can be no doubt that the White Cliffs of Dover are one of this country's most spectacular natural features. They are an official icon of Britain and have been a sign of hope and freedom for centuries. We will stop for photos to marvel at the beauty and special appeal of this chalk grassland next to the English Channel. You will have the opportunity to learn more about the fascinating military and penal history of the White Cliffs from your expert Guide.

Godfrey was great! Very funny, knowledgeable and helpful.
Godfrey was a great guide. Very knowledgeable. We had a great day seeing lots of wonderful sites with ease. Checked a lot off the list with one tour!
Godfrey was amazing! He was very knowledgeable.
It was a nice and unique experience. Very scenic, beautiful and relaxing tour , different from the bustling london city . Godfrey our tour guide was also very kind and informative
Sheila was very informative, driver new what he doing.
Enjoyed very much. Would have liked to see more of Dover. Tour guide was very informative and knowledgable. I recommend this tour.
Megan and Abdi did an amazing job on our tour. Megan shared valuable history for each site. Leeds Castle was great, Canterbury Cathedral was amazing and the Dover Cliffs were beautiful.
Mentor and Sheila took great care of us. Leeds Castle was peaceful as well as beautiful. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the Canterbury stop. The town was nice but the Abbey was beautiful. I can now say that I have viewed the Cliffs of Dover but it is underwhelming from land views.
My journey through these iconic English landmarks was a wonderful blend of grandeur and quiet moments. Leeds Castle was my first stop, and it utterly redefined my idea of a fortress. It unfolded like a fairytale set upon a glassy lake. Wandering through its opulent state rooms and sprawling gardens, I could almost picture medieval nobility enjoying this "Loveliest Castle in the World." It was a vision of refined beauty and grace. The experience at the White Cliffs of Dover was different, but equally memorable. I didn't climb the top, but viewed them from the pebble beach below. Gazing up at the colossal, brilliant white face from that vantage point was awe-inspiring. The scale was immense, and the contrast with the churning blue sea was stunning. I even captured a photo of the lone church sitting proudly on the clifftop, a silent sentinel watching over the landscape. Finally, I found a profound sense of peace in Canterbury Cathedral. The moment I stepped inside, the hushed atmosphere and the soaring Gothic arches inspired awe. Walking the same stones where Thomas Becket was martyred connected me deeply to England's spiritual and historical tapestry. Together, these three sites painted a complete picture: the romantic elegance of a castle, the powerful perspective from the foot of a natural wonder, and the profound, enduring spirit of faith and history.
Kevin was an informative and knowledgeable guide. His enthusiasm and insight brought the history alive. The timing of each of the stops was perfect with enough time to explore.
Cameron, our tour guide, did a fantastic job of making our trip to Leeds Castle, Canterbury and the White Cliffs of Dover enjoyable. He mixed humor with interesting historical information. Our driver, Cameron, was exceptional. He knew his routes well and maneuvered through traffic like a pro.
The amount of knowledge was great, totally enjoyable. Customer service was excellent, feeling very taken care of whole day. Phil was our tour guide. And Billy our driver was wonderful, very friendly and professional.
Wonderful tour with Phil, our amazing guide and Billy our great driver. I highly recommend this tour. Canterbury was a charming village like city that was what I pictured an English town to be.
I had the pleasure of touring with Phil, and I can confidently say he’s one of the best tour guides I’ve ever had. He’s not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also truly kind and attentive — he made sure every question was answered and that everyone in the group felt included and engaged. His passion for what he does really shines through, turning the tour into so much more than just facts and dates. A big shoutout as well to our fantastic bus driver, Billy, who got us everywhere safely and smoothly. Together, they made the entire experience exceptional. Highly recommend!
Our tour guide, Phil, was very knowledgeable and well organized. Phil was also friendly and helpful with any questions the group asked. Jimmy was the bus driver and also did a great job.
Shiela was our guide and Patrick was our driver—the tour was incredible! Highly recommended, very informative and fun!
Andy is wonderful!! Terrific guide. Very informative without adding his own opinion really or commentary. Which i love. So many other tours I've done, the guides have been very irritating but not Andy. I would highly recommend him to anyone. Definitely would tour with him again. Also loved the layout of the tour. They give you info and turn you loose. You get basically 2 hrs almost every stop and it doesn't feel rushed. Bus was clean and comfy too!!

This was a great tour that we got to experience on our honeymoon! Leeds Castle was a beautiful and historic experience and we very much enjoyed getting to walk around the castle. The Canterbury Cathedral was spectacular, and we enjoyed getting to spend some time in the town itself as well. Lots of shops and restaurants to explore! The Cliffs of Dover were beautiful as well— it’s not possible to get very close to the cliffs or to get good pictures here, but we did appreciate that we could see France way off in the distance since it was a clear day. Our tour guide Kevin was very knowledgeable and did a great job with as our tour guide as well. We had a great experience here!

Godfrey was great to us and very knowledgeable. He had a clear passion for the locations chosen and could easily speak to the history. He answered all our questions and was very friendly to talk to. Great way to spend the day and take in the sights.
Kevin and Abdi were great. Kevin was very knowledgeable about history and made it very interesting for my 13 yearbold as well. Highly recommend!
It was a wonderful tour. The tour guide, Ana was very personable and knowledgeable. It’s a bit calmer pace than some other day trips I’ve done which was nice. The driver, Serb was also great. If you have an extra day in London, it’s a good choice to go out and see different places that are a bit more out of the way.
Great tour run by Godfrey! Highly recommend for anyone looking to get out of London for the day. The crew will take good care of you.

It was a lovely journey. Instructions are clear, stories are nice. Throughout the journey, there were tons of fun facts to know. We had a Very Punctuated and Very Professional tour guide. Though the weather was horrible that I couldn’t see the cliffs
Wonderful day tour of Leeds Castle, Dover and Canterbury and an enjoyable potted history of Britain thanks to Kevin and Sorin @ EvansAndEvans . Recommend this tour for everyone wanting a small slice of England.
Kevin was an amazing and informative tour guide. We learned so much in an informal manner. I would definitely take another tour with them.
Fabulous day with our very knowledgeable guide Kevin learning so much about the history with a bit of humor tacked on as well. Highly recommend this tour.
5 stars for this experience. Travelling with driver, Otum, and guide, Andy Jackson, the day was a delight from start to finish. The Evan Evans team are friendly, efficient and hospitable as you check in. Andy was a strong representative of the Evan Evans company. He showed genuine interest in keeping those on the tour engaged, informed and well-looked after. He has honed his natural talents in professions outside of the Tour Industry meaning his friendly anecdotes and conversation were warm and authentic. As a traveller with some mobility complications from multiple sclerosis, there is some minor activity in this tour, including navigating stairs. "Compulsory" walking is 7 mins at a medium pace. Gaining access on and off the bus is managed by hand rails at the front of the bus. There is priority seating for mobility issues, though I am unsure how to access this and it is best to ask. This is an excellent excursion. Highly recommended.
Very friendly and pleasant experience. Kevin was really helpful in explaining the history and also provided clear instructions. Overall stress-free experience. Also kudos to Amar the bus driver.
