Our driver and guide were David. Before we left he informed us about how he planned out the day. He provided maps and a bottle of water for each of us. He was amazing! We started our journey with Leeds Castle. His knowledge of the history of the sightings is very impressive. He was entertaining, engaging and funny. Very caring about the people in his group. He knows the best possible ways to drive you to your destination. We couldn't be more happier with his service. David stopped by the Battle of Britain Memorial for us and the views of the White Cliffs were breathtaking from there. This was an extra stop in our journey but we were still managed to have enough time for a lovely walk in Dover seaside, then he took us to a great spot to take amazing photos of Dover Castle. We had a very healthy meal at Canterbury because he knows the place where people are serving food made from local produce. To explore Canterbury Cathedral with David's guidance was pretty amazing. I think there is nothing there that David wouldn't know the history of it. He was on time and his car was immaculately clean. We had a long day but we were travelled safely and comfortably. Although British Airways has lost all of our luggage's and we were still so stressed about it, this day trip with our guide David made us forget about our luggage troubles. So thank you David for all the laughter's and for an incredible day. Your knowledge of history is mind blowing! We learned so much from you about British history and culture. Definitely we give 5 stars for you!

Itinerary
Spend approximately two hours at Leeds Castle, a historic moated castle surrounded by landscaped grounds. Admission is not included. If you choose to purchase a ticket, use the time to explore the castle and grounds at your own pace. Seasonal activities and events may vary depending on the date of your visit.
Spend approximately one hour in Canterbury, focusing on Canterbury Cathedral and the surrounding historic center. Cathedral admission is not included. If you purchase a ticket, you can see the cathedral's Gothic architecture and stained glass. You can also use the time to walk through the nearby historic streets before continuing to Dover.
Stop at the White Cliffs of Dover for approximately 20 minutes for views and photos of the coastline and cliffs. This is a short scenic stop rather than an extended cliff walk or a visit to Dover Castle.

Our guide Fernando was excellent! Prompt, knowledgeable, accommodating. Private tour enabled us to go at our own speed and made the day much more enjoyable. As other reviewers mentioned, a very comfortable Mercedes van was our transportation. Highly recommend!
This tour was such a perfect addition to our week in London. Wanted to get out of the city for a day and see more of the country. Our tour guide, Peter, was amazing! He was laid back and funny, but also extremely knowledgeable, he made the experience totally worth it!! We were a family of 5 with 2 young kids and he was beyond accommodating and tailored the day to exactly what we all wanted. Would highly recommend this tour!!
What a wonderful day with David! He was funny, knowledgeable, and hospitable in every way. We loved each stop along our day trip! We booked this tour and had a great time. Our driver/guide was on time, and on the way he took us to Greenwich Meridian before leading to Leeds Castle. This was a great visit among the extensive and beautiful gardens. We then headed to Canterbury; the Cathedral is stunning, and we even had the privilege to hear the magnificent organ. The story of the church is very interesting. Afterwards we went to Dover, where we could see the white cliffs from a distance. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars (this review should be 4.5) is because I expected more information from the guide. He was not the one I had been told in the first place, and maybe his expertise is in some other places.
Our driver and guide, David, was excellent. Took us to a few extra places (Greenwich Observatory) and Battle of Brittan Memorial. He got us to Leeds Castle before it opened and we therefore were first in line and avoided the long queue throughout the castle visit. David was very personable and very knowledgeable. Thanks!
We had the best time. David took six of us for a break from London. His Mercedes van is immaculate. We were comfortable, water provided and maps and information. This was an all day family trip including our 14-year old son during his winter break. David's personality, professionalism and backround enhanced this family experience. He was knowledgeable in history and current affairs, hence, we made a personal connection to both English history and current events related to Brexit and more. The Mercedes van was clean and very comfortable. David was excellent in organizing the time to adjust to our interests. We would highly recommend this tour and David to anyone interested.
