This tour taught us more than just the story about Jack the Ripper. You could tell Adam is genuinely a “Jack the Ripper-nerd”. He didn’t only tell us about the murders, but he had his own beliefs and theories and very much painted a vivid picture about London in the late 1800s. We hoped to be walking a bit more during the tour and seeing things like alleyways in the dark but Adam more than made up for that!

She was enthousiastic and knew so many historical facts and details that it felt like I'm now an expert in the topic of the Jack the Ripper victims after a little over two hours. Jamie was an amazing tour guide with exptional. She explained the lives of the women making feel like full people rather than strictly victims of Jack the Ripper. The locations that we walked to were also relevant and added to the story.

Erik is a very lovely tour guide! He made the tour way more than just some spectical about a serial killer, he talked about the victims in a very respectful manner and highlighted the societal hypocrasies of that time and how that put those women in such positions. Very insightfull, really gives you some food for thought about society today as well.

Of all the other companies doing similar tours I chose this one because, based on the reviews, it was the more respectful tour. This tour did focus on facts rather than drama and took care to humanize the victims, which I really appreciated. I felt very lucky to have Carolina as our tour guide. She was very knowledgable about the area and time period and she really seemed to care about the subject matter. I definitely recommend this as a great way to see Whitechapel while learning some history and scratching a true crime itch.
