Jack The Ripper Walking Tour In London

George was so knowledgeable and animated. We loved the walking tour with him - he knew every answer to the questions we asked. It was our favorite part of London!

It gets cold around London in the evening, but the tour is well worth it, and is great, spooky entertainment for all

My cousin and I arrived from the United States yesterday and made our first decision to booked a (Jack the Ripper) tour from 6-7:30 pm. Not only was it easy to book on Viator, the prices were quite reasonable. Our tour guide, George R. was more than great! He was spectacular, wonderful, amusing, interesting, knowledgeable and probably more adjectives that I don’t have readily available. George has been doing tours for at least 11 years, it’s no wonder why his reviews were on the superior level. He not only described the scenes with erie details, he was setting the stage as if we were there. Dun Dun Dun

We did a Jack the Ripper walking tour as a team event and had a fantastic evening. George was an excellent guide - extremely knowledgeable, engaging and happy to answer all our questions. As we work in the area, it was especially fascinating to discover the history of the streets and places we walk past all the time. A brilliant tour and a great team evening. Highly recommend. Last night me and a group of work friends got together to do the Jack the Ripper tour with George! What can I say, it was incredible. George is soooo engaging and so enthusiastic, he gripped us from the first moment. George took us back in time to the time that Jack the Ripper terrorised the area we actually now work in. He knew which buildings existed, and a lot of extensive knowledge in addition to the tour. He welcomed questions between walking stops and we all learned so much. We were absolutely captivated from start to finish. I would thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone considering it. It started at 6pm near Aldgate station and finished at c. 7.30pm near Aldgate East. We are now looking at when we can book another tour with George, as it was one of the best things we have done for a work social.

George was amazing. He was very knowledgeable. It was very interesting learning new details about Jack the Ripper. I enjoyed the small group we were in.

George was an incredible guide!!! The pacing and length of the tour kept us interested and it took us to areas in London that we wouldn’t have experienced otherwise.

We had a great time in the tour. Our guide met us at Aldgate station and we heard about the history and myths surrounding Jack the Ripper. We walked to the areas where the murders took place in 1888. It was so interesting about the conditions in London at that time. Our guide told us in dramatic fashion with humor and he obviously knew a great deal about the events. He was also very patient and kind to people who did not move as fast as others. Answered all questions and even gave us extra information about that time period. The experience was fantastic. There are alot of Jack the Ripper Tours, but this one was hands down the best.

It is really fascinating to walk in the places where it all happened and hear the stories of the victims and theories of who the killer likely was. I highly recommend this tour, led by George, who is an awesome story teller.

Our guide, George, was engaging and very knowledgable. He was able to answer our questions and gave us information we had never heard about Jack the Ripper. He also was willing to answer any general questions about London!

I wish our guide George could lead all of our tours! He had such an intense and engaging style of storytelling that we felt like we were in an interactive true crime podcast. I had been a little nervous about the subject matter and bringing my kids (ages 20 and 15), but while it was a bit gory (obviously), as big fans of scary movies, it wasn’t anything they couldn’t handle. It was a great start to our visit to London!

My daughter (20) and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour with George. He was an excellent guide and was so enthusiastic about the information he shared with the group. His knowledge of Jack the Ripper and life at the time in London was excellent and he was able to answer any and all questions brilliantly! The tour was great as you stood in the exact locations where Jack and his victims were in 1888. Some of the pubs then are still alive and well today! I would thoroughly recommend this tour and the 1 1/2 hours was just perfect. Kudos to George for making the tour an excellent addition to our trip to London!

George, our tour guide, was an amazing story teller - he knew so many details and told the story of Jack the Ripper in an engaging and mesmerizing way.

It was amazing because the docent knew his history. I would tell anyone with young kids to think about it seriously though because it’s graphic.

This was a great tour! George was extremely engaging, personable, and knowledgeable. He accomplished the near impossible feat of entertaining our teenage son as well as his middle aged parents. We learned a lot about the Jack the Ripper mystery as well as life in late 1800’s London. I highly recommend!

Our guide George was wonderful! We had fun learning some history and seeing areas of London that we wouldn’t have thought of to see on our own.

George was awesome, he was informative and seemingly happy to be our guide. It is a loud city so I was happy that he spoke up and we could hear him clearly. We asked many questions including things not about the tour when walking and he not only answered them but encouraged us to keep asking more. I would highly recommend this tour.

George is a phenomenal storyteller. I looked up more info after the tour and it sounds like there is another strong candidate with some DNA evidence. I was a little disappointed this wasn’t brought up but not sure if he’s given a script to follow? Anyhoo, it’s a good time nonetheless. Recommend.

We booked this tour not really knowing what to expect and it turned out to be one of the best tours we’ve ever been on. Our guide, George, was engaging, knowledgeable, and made the time fly by with stories not just about Jack The Ripper, but of other crimes and general London history. Most “ghost story” tours get a bit redundant and slow but George was a true storyteller and even accomplished the amazing feet of keeping the attention of our 2 teenagers. We knew very little about Jack The Ripper other than the name but left with a genuine interest in the story and history. Top notch!

George, our guide was very knowledgeable about all the details, rumors, & conspiracy theories surrounding the Jack the Ripper murders. Also, it's walking tour on cobblestone so wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.

Coming from Turtle Island (America), it’s one thing to read about the history of Jack the Ripper in books, but it’s a completely different experience to actually stand in the exact locations where these events took place. Walking the streets of London gave the history a weight that you just can't get from a distance. Our guide, George, was fantastic. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable and kind, but he also shared local insights passed down through his own family history. Hearing those personal connections made the stories feel much more grounded and authentic. If you're looking for a tour that balances deep historical facts with a genuine local perspective, I highly recommend this one!

Awesome story teller very engaging

My daughter and I absolutely loved this Jack the Ripper Tour. Our guide, George, was phenomenal--he knew so much history, not only about Jack the Ripper--but also about London, in general. He was an excellent storyteller, and encouraged questions and conversation. After the tour, he actually walked us to our tube stop to make sure we got there safely. I 100% recommend this tour if you're in London, especially if you can have George as your guide.

We enjoyed the tour. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and charismatic. It was raining during the tour, so we were worried it would be cancelled but it wasn't. It was a lot of walking. A lot of history of this brutal murderer. He also had key facts and photos of each of the victims. Also, at the end of the tour is near public transportation and the guide will point you to the correct direction if you need.
