The tour and museum were great. The tout guide made it much more enjoyable. He was extremely knowledgeable and interesting. I would definitely recommend.
About Activity
We have postgraduate-educated or ex-military guides with a wealth of experience guiding on battlefields as well as in London. The depth of understanding in our team enables us to explain clearly and concisely the more challenging concepts in the museum. We also understand the value of levity when appropriate, and fundamentally we love the content we discuss. This never gets old.

Itinerary
We visit the most developed galleries in the museum, those focusing on the British experiences of the two World Wars. We can also examine the Holocaust Gallery, which covers the rise of the National Socialist movement in Germany as well as genocide in Europe. All galleries have been renovated in the last 10-15 years and are modern, with a narrative structure. Our guides provide context to the artefacts as well as valuable detail in helping understand the events of the 20th Century's most destructive conflicts.

This was best tour we have ever been on. There were 2 guides, both named Andy, and both were superb. They took time to incorporate the exhibits into their presentations, were patient with our many questions, gave us a lot of information we did not previously have, and lightened things with excellent senses of humor. It was so enjoyable that a 2 hr tour lasted 3 1/2 hours and no one complained. One of the guides even found me a portable chair to sit on. I am in my 70s and have some hip and knee pain. The exhibits themselves were excellent. I have been studying the Holocaust for over 50 years and IMW collection is easily the best I have ever seen. The collection of WW2 uniforms, esp. The Russians, is outstanding. Loved seeing the V1 and V2. I could go on, but I think the point is made. Best museum ever!

Although I’ve knowledge of some aspects of London and WW1, this tour brought to life a very new and interesting aspect. Andy’s delivery was thought provoking and inspiring. I came away from this tour feeling keen to develop my knowledge further and very keen to book another tour.
