We had a long layover at LHR and wanted to get out and about to stretch our legs and see a bit of London. Dave was a very knowledgeable guide and we had a great time walking through Hyde Park & Kensington Gardens area and learning about the history. He even helped us get back to the correct train at the end even though it was a bit over our allotted time. Would highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our tour. Graeme our tour guide was very thorough and went over important history. The park is beautiful and has so much to see. Greatly enjoyed our tour!
Graeme was a great guide. He reached out before the tour to ensure the pick up point was clear. He was full of information and enthusiasm throughout the tour. He helped everyone find their way to wherever they were off to next.
Be prepared to walk! Dave provided a fascinating tour of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. Dave was extremely knowledgable, engaging, and personable, and was very patient with our questions. He has a great sense of humor. It felt like we were having a tour with a friend. Highly recommend!
Great way of exploring Hyde Park and its numerous stories spanning the last five centuries. Dave was a great and very knowledgeable guide who took the time for questions and made everyone feel comfortable from the first moment we met him. Definitely recommend!
Dave did an absolutely amazing job of giving us an unforgettable tour of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens.
We learned 500 years of history from Dave our tour guide. This trip was fantastic! I highly recommend.
Great tour to see an amazing park and learn about all the history. Dave was a great guide and a lot of fun. Lots of walking and beautiful scenery.
Our guide Dave was inspiring and very friendly. He’s knowledge of the park was excellent. We can higly recomend this walking tour.
We had a fantastic walking tour which included Hyde Park and Kensington Garden. Dave was our guide for this wonderful tour. Dave was informative, knowledgeable, and personable. It was a lovely day and a great way to spend our final day in London before returning home to the States. My husband and I would highly recommend this!
Excellent walking tour through the parks and David provided us with a wealth of information about the grounds and royalty.
Dave was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions throughout the walk. Dave was very friendly and walked at a pace that suited us as it was a warm morning. Dave also kindly offered to take the photos along the walk so that we had our whole group in the picture. Would recommend this tour as we all thought it was value for money. Thank you Dave.
Meeting point needs a prominent landmark, like Achilles statue. Mention length of walk. Dave was great.
A lot of walking but so much to see and experience. Very informative and interesting. Tour guide allows for traveler(s) to set pace of tour.
Hyde Park. The Mark of a great tour guide is being on time and informative. Being named Mark also doesn't hurt. We were basically did a 2 hour lap of Hyde&Kensington parks which as back to back parks form a fabulous green wedge right in the heart of London. Mark explained the history of Park as well as its contemporary use. We were shown the running tracks as the rough ride tracks for horse riding. Further we learned Lady Di utilised the park and we were shown the royal living quarters at Kensington Palace, backgrounded on the birdlife in the park and even some detailed discussion re British royals as related to the parks. Mark is definitely in the right role and is well versed with all the facts and folk lore. We thoroughly enjoyed our walk and commend it to others
Great tour. Dave was very knowledgable and interesting. Well worth the money.
Amazing tour - enjoyed both the scenic value and educational experience. Despite the weather, we had a great time. Dave was a wonderful tour guide and really tried to connect with our family.
What a great way to start our London experience! Right off the plane and the perfect way to combat jet lag. We had a private tour with Graeme who was lovely. We learned so much about the history of the park and surrounding area. Graeme answered all our questions and was nice to converse with as well. He told us about another tour - a Beatles rock tour - and we signed up to join him again later this week.
It was such a beautiful day touring the parks with Dave. So enjoyed his stories and knowledge. The tour made our day. Dave is a quality guide to show us special sites of London.
Unbelievable experience and great tour guide. We got lucky and it ended up the private tour. Tons of history and coverage at great pace. Plus the best photography by the guide.
Dave was an amazing guide. He spent a full 2 hours explaining the history behind the park as well as all of the sculptures present. We thoroughly enjoyed our time together! 5 star recommended!
Dave was amazing at describing the history around Hyde Park/Kensington gardens as well as the architecture present throughout. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 hours together!
A very interesting and nice tour in the beautiful surroundings of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. As we turned out to be the only participants on the tour, it was very exclusive and informal. We had good conversations with our guide Dave about the parks and its history but also about modern London life, the support for the royal family among today’s British people and where to go in order to enjoy great India cuisine. We kept walking during the whole tour and saw everything we wanted to see, both trees, flowers, memorials and Kensington Palace. We strongly recommend the tour!
A very informative and enjoyable walking tour of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. Our tour guide Graeme was very knowledgeable on British history and culture. Highly recommend!
Dave was a great guide. Very knowledgeable about the history and willing to answer any questions from us.
If you want to see Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens this is for you. Walking with a guide was wonderful. We got to see the highlights and a bit if history of the parks. Dave was fun and gave us info in an enjoyable way.
We had a wonderful time exploring Hyde Park on this guided walking tour. Our guide, Harry, was incredibly knowledgeable and brought the park’s history to life — from the kings and queens who shaped it, to the stories behind its statues, memorials, and even the wildlife that calls it home. His passion and insight gave us a much deeper appreciation for this iconic London landmark. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to see Hyde Park in a more meaningful and memorable way!
This was a great walk with a friendly and knowledge guide. Beautiful parks and scenery. Harry was terrific!
History, Kings and Queens, Princes and Princesses, Christmas Day Swims, Peter Pan, The Royal Albert Hall
What a great way to see one of London’s biggest parks. Our guide Mark was so funny and knowledgeable and he took us to places. We didn’t even know existed.
We were standing away from area of meeting point. Totally our fault but not but a 1 min walk. The guide got quiet excited. Turned us off immediately. Boring tour. I want to say something good about the tour I just can't think of something. 15 pounds may be worth it 41...No.
We walked with Dave through Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens. More than a walk through the park, it was a true itinerary through English history, always with curiosity, context and art. Since the parks are very large, the tour is highly recommended for those who want to see some of London's most peculiar landscapes and don't have a full day. The itinerary, along with the conversation, makes everything more pleasant. Special highlight for the guide Dave, who led the tour very well and, in addition to being very didactic, has an English easily understandable, even for those who do not have English as their first language or do not have much familiarity as the British accent. Finally, we recommend it with emphasis for those who explore London more deeply and get out of the most obvious routes, in one of the most beloved parks of the Londoners.
