Did not show at meeting place. What a waste of time and money!
Showed up at the assigned place for 3pm tour. A tour company employee arrived about 3:05 to tell us the tour was canceled. No advance communication was provided telling us of the cancellation. This was a major disappointment and disruption to our plans. I won’t trust this company again. Beware.
Tour cancelled without Information
Super deceiving because it said to meet a tour guide at a statue, but there was nobody there. We had to contact the company, who then just sent us tickets and told us to proceed inside where we did an audio tour just like everyone else. Better to just book directly with Houses of Parliament!!
This was hugely enjoyable and enlightening. The audio tour was very clear and allowed us to go round at our own pace. It was great to see the two houses 'for real'. These was a slight delay to get in for security checks but this was a niggle rather than anything else. We would thoroughly recommend this tour. The information that we received prior to going up to London was second-to-none.
We booked a tour for 11:45 and turned up 20 minutes early as requested. We queued for about 5 minutes for the privilege of queueing for a further 30 minutes. Once inside, the audio tour was really interesting. Make sure to use the guest wifi though as some areas the 5g cuts out.
Chaotic. We arrived well before the advised time (1 hour), but only got in 1 hour late. This was due to the hundreds of people in the queue being allowed to go straight to the front as they were on a guided tour. Everybody else just had to stay in the queue without moviing, Security were efficient. Obviously you sell more tickets than you have capacity for. But once inside, it was magnificent.
Wonderful building, full of history, well-known characters and events. The security and staff at the entrance fumbled about, as if it was their first day, but I suspect it wasn't. Then it improved with very personable and engaged staff directing us and engaging the audio guide. The tour was a bit haphazard as they wanted to maintain one-way traffic, but were overly concerned about security. The security staff were very vigilant and could have performed their role without assuming every tourist is a terrorist and preventing photos of the interior of the 1000 year old parliament as if it is a never before seen secret. Apart from that we had access to both houses and the back corridors. As the tour progressed the security reduced and it became more enjoyable. Well worth a visit, for the history and the building
The tour was ok. It was self guided and the way the device related to the tour was not very intuitive but we eventually got it. The parliament staff was helpful when needed and the content on the audio was good. If I did it again I would look for a guided tour.
Cancelled my audio tour without notice. Because other tours were getting in, and there was no notice at the entrance saying audio tours were cancelled, I wasted almost an hour waiting due to train times to get there in time. I was told that I hadn’t got the email because of my email security settings, despite getting the ticket sent to that email. I was only in London for this visit so a complete waste of a day as well as paying to get there and back. After I complained I did get responses that were totally inadequate and, in one instance, condescending.
Lifelong desire to see from 1st coming to London in 1974...S different City then. So yes an excellent opportunity to see both houses of Government.
I visited with the Havering Partially Sighted Club, our guide Philip was very attentive, very informative and very comical, he made the visit very enjoyable, thank you for looking after us so well along with your colleague, i would highly recommend the tour
Great tour , very informative. Such an amazing historic building. From Westminster Hall and the incredible Hammerbeam roof to St Stephens hall and the Lords. Brilliant
The Palace of Westminster is beautiful. This tour lets you see and walk through the halls and rooms of government while the audio guide explains the political process. Very informative. And the rooms are truly stunning. Not to be missed.
Interesting to experience a mythical place in really-much less than expected. Did not know the voting procedure before: both orally and behind the scenes.
I've requested a refund. After an hour in line, which did not move at all, we gave up. Don't understand the point of pre-purchased tickets. We stood in line with those who bought tickets on site.
Absolutely awesome to see this place of English political power. Place steeped in history. Audio guide included in the tour and very useful to understand the operation of the different rooms visited. Many rooms with no right to take pictures! Too bad. To do absolutely
