Have done the tourist spots many times so was looking for something different. This hit the spot. A good mix of sites and stories with Matt who was knowledgeable, friendly and easy to listen to. He engaged the whole group and kept things moving at an easy to manage pace. Will now check out their other tours.

Lee was a great guide! He was very flexible and knowledgeable.
I wanted to love this tour and I was very excited about it in the days leading up. However, I was struck that in a city like London, with a history extending back so many centuries, there was much in the tour that seemed far less interesting than it should have. Though my spouse and I are rarely bored, we found ourselves bored through significant portions of this tour. Additionally, opportunities were missed. For example, we visited Temple Church and learned that this was where parts of the movie The Da Vinci Code were filmed ... yet only by privately reading the plaque after the tour moved on did we learn that this church has a deep connection to the negotiations that led to the signing of the Magna Carta. I don't know if others in our tour were enjoying it ... everyone seemed a bit underwhelmed by the experience.
The tour with Paul was fantastic! So much fun while discovering historical aspects of London. Thanks so much
Joe our guide was very knowledgeable and funny. The tour was just the right length and we learned things we didn't know, which is always great.
Mike was an excellent guide, knowledgeable and humorous. Just the right balance. He is obviously a person curious about local history and lore and an adventurous soul. He made the tour stops fun and informative. Highly recommend!
My niece (15), nephew (13) and I really loved Rachel and the whole walking tour we did recently on 3 August. I had enjoyed on one other Fun London Tour and this one was even better! Super happy to recommend it. I've even been back to some of the locations Rachel showed us, so eager was I to share them with others. It was 90 minutes - neither too long nor too short. Rachel was a fun, relaxed, very knowledgeable guide we all enjoyed interacting with and listening to. Thank you Rachel. Look forward to the next.
The tour guide was very friendly and I would highly recommend this for tourists or locals. Was a fun experience
Matt was an excellent guide. He was really enthusiastic snd knowledgable and the tour was really interesting.
Our guide Paul was excellent. He was very informative, friendly, funny and easy to talk to. Really enjoyed seeing the landmarks you would normally not notice and just walk past. The 1.5hours was a good length and there was not too much walking and was definitely value for money.
Matt our tour guide was wonderful! Really fun tour, highly recommend.
Really amazing tour. Rachel was just fantastic. As a seasoned Londoner I tend to be slightly judgy about tours around areas I know well, but this was really enlightening, tonk me too new places and the guide's enthusiasm and love of the subject really brought it to life! Recommend it to anyone and I'll be signing up for others!
Excellent small group walking tour from Temple, taking in unusual places and stories even for London residents. Matt the guide was very good.
We had a great time! Lovely guide and a very interesting and funny tour. Another bonusfrom the fact that the tour includes hidden little places is that most of the tour is through less busy areas that are nice and quiet. I'd say this tour can be greatly enjoyed by people of all ages but would add that children will definitely have fun!
Great tour with knowledgeable guide. Definitely saw and learnt about things I wouldn’t have noticed by myself and walked an area of London that was unfamiliar previously. Max was an excellent and engaging guide. The pace is manageable for anyone with a moderate level of fitness, but worth noting that due to the nature of the tour there are lots of uneven surfaces with cobbles and steps.
Lots of really interesting stories and anecdotes. Even though I know London well it was great to see and find out about off the beaten track aspects. Would definitely recommend this to all travellers whether local or from overseas, solo or families with kids. Our guide, Matt was clearly passionate about his job which made the experience al the more enjoyable.
What a great trip! Our guide Rachel was really fun and had answers to all the questions posed by the group. I’d previously lived in the neighbourhood best part of a decade and today learnt more in 90 minutes than in all that time.
A very interesting tour, looking at areas and stories different from the usual London sights. Our guide, Peppy was excellent, so informative and fun.
Excellent tore a little off the beaten path
matt was a great guide. The right balance of little known facts, stories and history. Engaging and kind.
If you want to see and learn about places and sites you haven’t previously visited in London, this is the tour to book. Our guide Matt took us through fascinating locations explaining the historical background to each. Pace was good and plenty opportunity for questions. Totally recommend this tour!
Had a great tour with Matt. Very knowledgeable guide and the tour was so interesting. Lots of great information through many layers of London’s history. Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting London. We will book again! 😊⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Fantastic tour, Matt was excellent!
Informative tour sharing hidden facts about London. Tour Guide Jez did a great job. Would recommend.
Rachel was very entertaining, extremely knowledgeable, and very friendly. With her clear and strong speaking voice, she made the tour engaging and interesting- even to a local. My Australian guests were highly impressed. Highly recomnend.
Rachel was brilliant oolite funny and knowledgeable. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour
An excellent, fun and interesting fact finding expierence. Our guide was very knowleaglble and appropriatly funny!
My favorite way to be a tourist in a strange city is just to walk around and take in the strange sights and sounds and see what happens. But as I was following the delightful Rachel around on our tour today it became apparent to me how much I’m missing! All the cool little side streets, and the backstories, and the backstories to the backstories. Seeing the Inns of Court today, and the house of Samuel Johnson himself (and his cat Hodge) turned out to be the fulfillment of bucket list items I didn’t even know I had. Thank you so much!
Rachael made our tour so fun! She taught us such interesting information about the history of the area and her love for the city was apparent. She had such positive energy and was a delight; highly recommend booking any tour with her!
Our guide, Rachel, was the key to our five star recommendation. The 90 minute tour was very informative and delivered with a lightness of touch that made it easy to digest. Lots of subjects are covered so there is something for everyone and plenty of secrets are unlocked at various places around Temple & Fleet Street. The pace was good, the walking easy and the distance covered was just right. I cannot recommend this tour and our guide enough.
From the start our guide Matt engaged with each of the group and put us all at ease. This walking tour was informative, interesting and at an easy pace which allowed us look around and ask and answer questions.
Rachel was fabulous..well informed and a great communicator! The walk was just long enough and covered an array of interesting places and historical figures. Very good value for money. There was 17 people in the tour, mostly couples but as a solo traveller it wasn't uncomfortable.
Excellent and informative, plus the guide was great
This was a Virgin Experience gift. Really enjoyable walk. Learnt a lot of interesting facts. Rachel our tour guide was charming and very knowledgeable.
Fantastic tour with Rachel, she was totally engaging and offered such fascinating information with great enthusiasm. We got to see some places off the beaten track and learnt some great facts. Would recommend.
Cool weird and strange things you get to know
Rachel took us for a fascinating tour of the amazingly quiet streets off Fleet Street. The temple courtyards were beautifully quiet, considering we were in central London! Lots of history, a few venues to eat and drink pointed out on the way and she was able to navigate questions brilliantly.
Met Rachel and along with around a dozen others we were shown some of the more irregular sights around Fleet Street and its surroundings. Rachel was very knowledgeable, engaging and easy to listen to with many anecdotes to make the tour a very pleasant experience. We would recommend this tour to any one who wants to see a different side to London.
Secret London Walking Tour. We spent a wonderful hour & a half walking around the area near Trafalgar Square & Covent Garden. Our guide (Joe) was great! He told us just the right amount of facts & anecdotes and had a good sense of humour too. His voice was clear and so he was able to be heard above any passing traffic! We were taken to little streets we would never have visited otherwise. The length of the tour was just right. All-in-all a very enjoyable experience.
We had a great time on the tour, which was gifted to us as a present. Despite having lived in London for many years, we learnt so much and visited areas we'd never seen before. Rachel, the guide, was friendly and informative throughout. She managed to project her voice so well, and we could clearly hear the information in all the locations we stopped at. The group was a nice size of about 20 people - small enough to easily interact with the guide and ask questions. We were lucky with the weather, so it was really lovely to walk the streets and learn the facts. The area we covered did not involve a huge amount of walking. We started at Temple Station and ended up near Fleet Street. At the end of the tour, we visited the recommended "Olde Chesire Cheese" pub for a quick drink - it was so amazing to see a bit of indoor history too. I would definitely recommend the Hidden London tours if you like to know some slightly more obscure details of London and its back street history, and I am contemplating going on one of their alternative routes soon.
An excellent tour around a part of London I didn't know much about. Rachel covered the history well without it being 'dry' and chucked in some fun facts.
Just had a lovely time with Rachel, navigating the less well known idiosyncracies around London's Temple, Fleet Street, and The City areas. A wonderful and engaging guide - combined with suitable cameos from the animal, legal, and university shooting clubs estates - made for a very engaging time indeed. Two very happy souls; thoroughly recommended.
Our guide was Rachel and she was very engaging and informative.
It’s fun, friendly, relaxed and informative tour covering lesser-known facts about London. Recommended
Brilliant tour and great guide in Rachael. Loads of facts and the time flew by. Highly recommended
London is such a great city. So much history around every turn. Joe did a great job of explaining the rich history of the things we have a tendency to just walk past and not even acknowledge. This tour was a wonderful, low-key experience that made our trip so much more worthwhile. Joe is a great storyteller and a fantastic guide. Well worth it!
Very enjoyable tour with Matt as tour lead. Tour just the right length and brought us to locations we would have otherwise missed. Would recommend it
Brilliant, I had worked in the west end of London for many years and had no idea all this was so close. The guide was interesting and funny, would recommend this tour hands down
Good knowledge by our guide, not as much walking as I thought, just enough for 1 half hours. A small group so worked well
I had a great time on the tour. Paul was really knowledgeable and made it really entertaining. I learned things I didn't know about London even having lived here for years!
