Harry Potter - Private London Taxi Tour

It was a very good experience, we really appreciate our guide/ driver Sam.He was really helpful friendly attentive and keeping children permanently busy and exited.

The perfect London tour with the most knowledgeable & funniest guide, Ollie! He was such a great guy and showed us the coolest Harry Potter filming locations. We also got a real introduction to London and was the best way to see the layout of the city and all its magical streets. We so highly recommend this company, the communication was amazing and we felt absolutely cared for the entire time!

Laura was an excellent guide and was so kind to let our daughter watch Harry Potter movie clips on her phone to point out the film sites. Only wish we’d had more time to explore Borough Market, but that’s a great reason to come back!

Our tour guide, Laura, was wonderful! She took us all over London and was full of information. She mixed history of London and the iconic locations and the interesting Harry Potter locations all together. Laura built in special stops, took pictures, and was an excellent host to show us London for the first time. It was fabulous to have our private tour of London.

Highly recommend. Guide (Glen) was knowledgeable and customized time to placed we wanted to spend more time at. Very attentive to our comfort and kids comfort.

If you are looking to meet a terrific guide in the London area, Ollie is your guy. He was so friendly and full of knowledge about they city and Harry Potter. If you’re a Harry Potter enthusiast looking for an in-depth Harry Potter day, this might not be the right tour for you. We booked this as a plan B since we couldn’t get tickets to the studio tour. It’s not a good replacement for the studio tour.

My family and I had a wonderful experience working with this tour company. We were originally booked to do a city highlights tour with a different company on the day we landed in London, and then booked for a Harry Potter driving tour with this company on our last day in London. Unfortunately, I was so jet-lagged the day we arrived in London, I had to cancel the city highlights tour. I called Visit London Taxi Tours the next day, explained the situation, and asked if I could switch our Harry Potter tour to a City Highlights tour. Cheryl was so friendly and understanding, and made the switch for us without any issue. While we were on the phone, I mentioned my family was going to Windsor Castle that day, but I was planning to do a walking tour of my area instead, and she volunteered several places/things to see within walking distance of our hotel. It was a lovely chat--and her recommendations were wonderful! As for the tour itself, our guide was Sam and he was great. Of all the tours/drivers we booked in London, Sam/Visit London Taxi Tours was the *only* driver/company that showed up on time. His knowledge of the sights was extensive, and he knew exactly how to navigate the city to get us to all the sights we wanted to see. Took lots of photos of us, too. :) Highly recommended.

This was a great tour around London, Our driver Ollie was really Nice and he took us out too nearly all the Harry Potter film locations and when the tour was finished he recommended me and my family a great place to eat. And because it was a private taxi tour it just felt more personal, and we talked a lot more than if it was a big group of people

We had such a great time visiting some of Harry Potter’s film location. Our guide Yiannis was a wonderful person. We and our kids really enjoyed this tour and would really recommend the tour to all Harry Potter fans!

Tons o' fun! Our tour guide was Glen, and he was fantastic! Filled with all sorts of information -- not just Harry Potter info. He had the route down, he knew the right spots for the pix, and he came with props! You gotta have props! We have three daughters of various ages, and they were all entertained by Glen and his fun facts and great personality. Highly recommend!

Got to see good HP locations and have cute photos! Discovered the Ministry of Magic was literally next to our hotel! We would never have known!

Our driver Terry was great. Not only did we discuss Harry Potter landmarks but we covered many other London sites. He picked us up from our hotel and dropped us off in the middle of London per our request. It was a good tour.

This was definitely the best way to see all of the Harry Potter filming and inspiration sites around London. It was not only fast and easy on the feet, but having a personalized tour guide made it a great experience. Glen did a great job getting us safely around and also providing some additional info about London. It was definitely worth the money as our time was limited.

If you are a Harry Potter fan, this tour is for YOU! Go to the actual film sites and get to see what the places actually look like today! Go to actual movie scene sites like Platform 9 3/4, Gringotts, and the Ministry of Magic. Shout out to our tour guide Simon, thank you so much! The tour was fantastic!

Daughter and I absolutely loved this tour! Glen was very knowledgeable, brought us to each movie site. Neat thing about the taxis is that they can park right up at the site, so no need to walk far. At one point he drove us literally to the steps of Westminster Abbey to take photos, we loved the first-class VIP service! He also had a fun box of Harry Potter props - cape, glasses, scarf and wand. Had me and daughter in stitches laughing. Glen was also extremely friendly, sweet and polite! We even got to do a little extra shopping! Get on this tour, you won't regret it!

Simon, a Londoner, was informative, accommodating, friendly and open to veering off the script to see tidbits that most guides would ignore or wouldn’t know about. Highly recommend Simon as your guide - not a single concern or issue.

Sam was an absolute pleasure to have as a guide. The tour was really perfect for true Harry Potter fans, but Sam taught us so much about London as well. The taxi was spacious, clean and very comfortable. I have already recommended it to several friends who are traveling to London. Such a fun time.

We had a fabulous 3hr tour with Yannis. Our 10yr old and 7yr old thoroughly enjoyed seeing the sights from the movie around the city of London. Yannis was so knowledgeable not only in Harry Potter but also provided us with so many insightful thoughts about London. Would highly recommend. Bring along snacks for the kiddies to keep them alert!

Andrew was our taxi driver and tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and absolutely into the Harry Potter movies and books. He was upbeat and made the tour fun and imaginative. We enjoyed the tour. Our only issue was that the driver Morris had some incorrect information about a scene and was correcting my son- 14 (who is a huge Harry Potter fan). We looked it up and my son was correct. Morris told us we were wrong. Sometimes, you can't know everything. Take the criticism and move on.

We had a superb tour with Simon who was a fount of knowledge - not just Harry Potter but London History and more besides. Great manner and friendly demeanour. I must also note how good he was with two of the party with mobility issues. Excellent and very much recommended.

After doing dozens of tours over the years, I just had to take a minute to share my thoughts on this one, because it was SOOOOO GOOD!!! Mick was exceptionally prepared, a true 'Potter Expert' according to our son. He was endlessly patient, engaging, and even my husband who begrudgingly went along ended up raving about it to a group of friends later that day. FANTASTIC JOB MICK!!!

The tour was great for the three of us: a 10 year old Harry Potter Fan, His mother, and his grand mother also Harry Potter fans. We saw great London places we would not have seen other wise! Our guide was great! Incredibly knowledgeable!
