Tom our guide met us at the station. Was a seamless pick up. Incredibly knowledgeable, lovely person. He knew the answer to every question in detail. Would highly recommend.

The experience was wonderful. Tom was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions even giving us some trivia! We will definitely book again. The only negative was that even though I wrote on the booking that my daughter is celiac and can’t have gluten, there were no gluten free options available for tea. The restaurant was very kind and let her choose an option from the main menu

Two hours of utterly fascinating insights soaking up the atmosphere in the incredible Time Machine that is Hampton Court. My guide was erudite, witty and charming. The place is an absolute maze but we glided around with ease! My historical knowledge has definitely improved. Thoroughly recommend.

Julie was an absolutely excellent guide. Exceptionally knowledgeable and had many great stories about the palace. She took us around through the arbor, much to our children’s delight and pointed out many historic places we would have missed. We had our 2 children on the tour and Julie was amazing about engaging them as well as the adults.

The tour was great. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and very nice. We had a small group and spent about 2 hours in Hampton Court Palace, then had a lovely tea. My partner and I then went back into the palace afterwards to look at some things again, take more detailed photos, and walk the garden. Overall it was a great day.

Such amazing history! Theresa was an exceptional tour guide, her knowledge of English royal history extended far beyond Hampton Court. And our tea exceeded our expectations. Side note, leave yourself a little time to wander about in Molesey. We had a great time in all the antique shops.

We booked a private tour with high tea at Hampton Court Palace, and it exceeded every expectation. Tom, our guide, made the experience truly special , his knowledge of the Tudor period and the palace’s history was extraordinary, and he brought every room to life with stories about Henry VIII, Anne Boleyn, and the countless intrigues that unfolded within those walls. What set this tour apart was how personal it felt. Tom paced everything around our interests, answered every question with genuine enthusiasm, and had a wonderful way of making 500 years of history feel immediate and vivid , from the Great Hall to the maze to the stunning Tudor kitchens. He clearly loves what he does, and it shows. The high tea was the perfect finishing touch , beautifully presented, delicious, and a lovely way to relax after exploring the grounds and state apartments. Between the incredible breadth of knowledge Tom had, to the absolutely delicious Tea, this is one unmissable experience!!!! We were celebrating 9 years of marriage and I can not stress just how thoroughly we enjoyed both the tour and tea. From unique interesting unknown facts about the palace architecture, Tudors, gardens and extraordinary art to the most delicious Tea served on a beautiful setting and outdoor table overkooking the river, it was just the perfect day. Having the private tour meant we could really take our time, discuss and ask anything that came to mind. We found ourselves in awe and in love with Hampton court and its phenomenal stories all over again. Many unknown to us oreviousy despite having visited many many times over the years. I can confidently say we have never experienced Hampton Court like this and that is what I think really distinguishes this tour from others. The in depth knowledge, humour, unknown stories and engaging delivery. Also the quality of produce and food during the Tea easily compares with some of the best we have had both in Central London and abroad. Everything was thought of and nothing was too much trouble. Terrific tour of Hampton Court with Geraint. He was very friendly and outgoing and met us on time at the Hampton Court station which was very easy. He’s local and knows the area as well as details about the palace. He clearly described the distinct Tudor and Baroque nuances of the structure, told stories about the people who lived and worked there, and took photos of us throughout the palace, grounds, and gardens. Rounding off the tour with tea was a lovely touch. We really enjoyed our day here.

Tom was an extremely knowledgeable guide and the narrative was full of information that greatly enhanced our experience of seeing Hampton Court. He was pleasant and easy to be with. He was very patient and answered questions extremely well, just showing his significant knowledge of the entire palace.

Fantastic..our guide Julie was lovely, and provided lots of unknown facts and details. Weather was boiling hot and she was courteous to our needs for shade. We were a group of 6 which was just right, everything was on time and she left us having our afternoon tea experience...All in all a big shout out to Julie

Had the most mazing experience, Way surpassed my expectations, Visiting Hampton Court Palace with guide Geraint Thomason was far more enjoyable for the informative humourous and relaxed tour. The detailed information combined with the clear but light hearted delivery was the perfect combination . The palace is so large and there is so much to see we would have missed so much of interest. Great tour with an amazing tour guide who is incredibly knowledgeable. The tour highlighted the most interesting aspects of history without being swamped with too much information. It was also slightly comedic and resulted in a great experience! It included secret doors, funny toilets, and other pieces of history that only a true enthusiast would know. Cannot recommend more!!

We had a two hour, guided small group visit. Theresa was a very informative guide who cared about our individual interests. We got a good sample of the house and grounds, and the ticket allowed us to return on our own. The tea was excellent and beautifully situated.
