Simon was so fun, easy to work with and full of knowledge, tricks and tips! Definitely made for a wonderful first trip to London. 6 grown adults fit nicely in the cab with the perfect stops for pictures, a bite to eat or just stretch our legs.

Simon is hands down the best tour guide we have ever had. A few years ago we toured London with three generations of our family (father, my husband, our young son, and I) and he made our day beyond special. We had a wide range of things we wanted to see, and a diversity of interests, and somehow Simon met, and exceeded, all of our expectations. We have been talking about that tour for years. So when we found ourselves returning to London the first thing we booked was days with Simon. From Dover to the Tower of London, our days with Simon again exceeded our expectations. You cannot go wrong booking time with him - you won’t be sorry!!!

Simon came highly recommended by a friend who had recently visited London. Let’s just say our friend has very high standards and is incredibly particular, so when he couldn’t stop raving about Simon, I knew we had to book him immediately. It ended up being one of the best decisions we made on our entire trip. My daughter and I booked a full-day Black Cab tour, and honestly, I could have spent the rest of our vacation exploring London with Simon. His knowledge of London’s history is extraordinary, but what truly sets him apart is his storytelling, warm personality, and the relationships he’s built throughout the city. Everywhere we went, it felt like he knew someone, which made the experience feel even more authentic and special. Instead of coming home with a phone full of selfies, he took us to the best photo spots around London and captured so many beautiful photos of my daughter and me. Those pictures are now some of our favorite memories from the trip, and we’re so grateful to have them. London’s history and traditions run incredibly deep, and Simon has a gift for bringing them to life in a way that’s fascinating, engaging, and never overwhelming. We learned so much while seeing both the iconic landmarks and hidden gems we never would have discovered on our own. Our trip is now forever divided into two parts: B.S. (Before Simon) and A.S. (After Simon). And trust me—the A.S. era is infinitely better! My husband was so disappointed he missed the tour after seeing our photos and hearing all about the experience. The good news is we’re already planning our next trip back to London, and you better believe we’ll be booking another tour with Simon. As if we’d ever do London without him now! I had a fabulous time on my tour! Simon was so knowledgeable about everything we encountered. He was able to customize both the itinerary and anecdotes once he knew what I enjoyed, and was so helpful with accommodating my mobility issues. This is a great way to learn about London if you have trouble walking/standing for long periods. Just listen, watch, and learn, and occasionally stop to explore! I will happily do this again if I ever have the chance.

Simon was incredible!!! Visited wonderful places (Abbey Road Studios, Roman Temple in London discovered in 1954 (Mithraeum), Kensington Palace, Princess Diana Garden, et al). Very personable and professional. 2nd time touring London with Simon, and plan to do it again!!

First let me say, this was an amazing bucket list trip for my family. One of the highlights of this trip was meeting Simon. We had never been to London and I wasn't sure if I should rent a van for the days my family stayed. After looking into this, I came across Simon and his Black Cab service. After talking with him, it was a simple, easy decision. In talking with Simon, my family and I booked with him for all our transport needs. He essentially became our "private car for hire" the entire stay in London. Let me say that this was one of the best decisions we made of our whole trip. From the time he picked us up at the airport the first day, to the time he dropped us back off at the airport, he provided the best service I could have imagined. If you plan to visit London, I highly recommend working with Simon for the best tours, and transportation needs while visiting.

We had Simon pick us up from the port and then give us about a three hour tour. It was informative and a great way to get the lay of the land in London and see the major sites pretty quickly. From there, you can go back to the spots you want to revisit. Simon has a great deal of knowledge and stops at great places for photos.

We had a small amount of time to spend in London and we loved everything from the taxi itself to having the BEST day touring the sites with Simon as our guide. As my kids would say…..Simon is the GOAT!

We had a great time touring with Simon today. We asked him to show us the hidden gems because we’d already seen most of the main tourist spots in earlier trips. He knows the city well and showed us some interesting spots including a place that sells a fabulous ginger liqueur created for King Edward VII. It’s a fun way to see the city!

Simon could not have provided a better tour for our family of 6! He communicated very well with the booking, was early for picking us up, and returned us exactly on time for our next activity. His panoramic glass roof cab is spotless and provided all of us with great views and a very comfortable ride. After having Simon take my wife and me on a half day tour of London a year and a half ago, we knew we had to engage him again when we brought the rest of our family on their first trip to London two weeks ago. Simon is the perfect guide to get a fast paced intro to London. He is a pro with the cab - parking easily and getting us up close to all the key sites. The Abbey road photo was super fun. The hotel tours were an unexpected perk. He will get you the perfect family pictures everywhere you associate with postcard London. I highly recommend this on your first day to get a feel for the city and knock out the major photos you want to remember on this trip.

This was my second time in London and I knew I had to book another tour with Simon for this trip. Once again the tour was incredibly detailed, making the time fly by. We had an amazing private tour of London with our host Simon! First off, our alarm didn’t go off so we overslept; he was so kind and understanding about it and waited 30 minutes for us to get ready and start the tour. Simon picked us up at our hotel to begin the tour; he asked us where we wanted to conclude the tour as well. He took us all over London and made certain we were able to see everything we wanted to. The photos he took of us throughout the day were very professional and it was nice to have someone take care of that for us. ( great pics!!) At one point in our 5- hour tour, I started getting a headache. It was Simon to the rescue with headache medicine and a bottled water. He is most prepared to his tour guests too. He’s a wealth of knowledge on London history and made the day such an enjoyable experience. He was a referral from a friend of ours who toured with him a few months prior. It was worth the money for a custom tour experience!! If you want a quality tour; this is the one to book!!

Simon was so wonderful and he was so incredibly knowledgeable about everything. He took us places we were not even expecting to go and we learned so much about the city! It was well worth the money that we spent and I highly recommended to anyone visiting London especially for the first time!

This was a phenomenal tour for many reasons. Simon picked us up, on time (he was actually early). He took us all over London seeing a real mixture of sites, some familiar to us, others not so. Whilst I booked a half day history tour, it was tailor-made for our group. Simon listened to what my husband was interested in and adapted the places we visited accordingly. This was very much appreciated. As well as this, he was able to find places for comfort breaks and caffeine top-ups when asked. Simon’s knowledge was incredible. He knew so much about London today as well as its history and he shared this in a funny and engaging way. He was such a kind and intelligent man and a real pleasure to spend the day with. Absolutely the best way to see the sites in London! If you only have a day or your looking for a way to get a lay of the land so you know where you want to spend more time this tour is perfect. We did a tour last June of 2023 with Simon and it was fantastic. This year, Simon was unavailable; however, he connected us with Martin, a fellow driver who was fantastic as well. The tour, landmarks, photos, and genuine hospitality were superb!! Definitely recommend and would do again!!

What a great way to spend our first day in London. Simon is extremely personable and knowledgeable of the city and knows all the great spots (and takes your photos for you as well!) It was very convenient, stress free and fun touring in his black cab. I highly recommend to anyone thinking of booking, we had a wonderful time and would book again!

We are a family of 4 (parents and two adult children) and booked a 5 hour tour with Simon. This was our first visit to London and I can't imagine a better introduction. Aside from his expert navigation skills, Simon designed the tour to meet our needs and preferences, stopping regularly to allow shopping, sight seeing, pictures, etc. He paced the tour perfectly with well timed stops. Simon is personable and has a great sense of humor (required for our family) Along the way, Simon provided information about what we were seeing, a bit of history, and lots of local information, as well as recommendations for museums, tours, restaurants, pubs. etc. We had a great tour and highly recommend Simon.

Booking the tour with Simon was the BEST decision we made for our intro to London! We dropped our luggage off at our Airbnb, and Simon picked us up right outside. We were exhausted from the trip, but Simon’s enthusiasm and good nature perked us right up! He took our family of 5 (including 3 teens) all around the city pointing out the big attractions, but more importantly taking us to fascinating, out-of-the-way highlights too! My sister's, my mom and my daughter and I all had a couple of days in London and we wanted to see as much as possible but our time was very limited. Simon delivered!! He was able to take us to see all of the typical touristy things and even added several surprises as well! Simon was great from the start. He was patient while we all gathered to the meeting point, polite and friendly throughout the day. We really threw Simon a task creating a tour requesting, gangsters, villains , wall art, kings and queens, suffragettes, hidden spaces, old buildings. Well he certainly didn’t disappoint, we were entertained from the beginning to the end. He tied the first point of interest to the end thus closing the tour perfectly. He honestly threw so many points in to our trip we will be remembering bits for weeks. In all it was a fun filled fact tour round London with a great guide , hopping in and out the cab listening to Simon is a fantastic way of discovering facts, places and stories of past and present. This trip was for my dads 80th birthday. The tour entertained my parents, myself , and my teenage children so highly recommended for all! A highlight was visiting a cafe where the krays hung out for breakfast… I won’t give too much away but worth popping in for a drink and some cake. Simon you were fantastic with a great sense of humour too👍

We wish that there was a 5+ star option! This tour, and Simon specifically, was the highlight of our trip to London. The tour was thorough, and not rushed. My husband had some broad London questions, but as an enthusiastic royalist, he fielded my question, and happily so. I have to say, you will get much more than the tour description, though I don’t want to spoil anything special! We felt like VIP’s, and appreciated his vast knowledge of just not London history, but the logistics of getting to and fro, as they were changing rapidly with coronation preparations and some larger crowds and detours. We still did not miss a beat, and checked everything off our list. We feel like we have a new friend across the pond in Simon!

Simon is a great tour guide and a really good photographer too! He is punctual, friendly, helpful, and has a good sense of humor. Simon also knows London very well and showed us some hidden gems we wouldn’t have known. We went down stairs to the Thames riverside and of course saw all the famous landmarks and attractions. We spent 5 hours with him and he was very accommodating to our needs. I got to see Notting Hill from the movie and loved the area. I loved the amazing pictures he took of our family. He dropped us off Chinatown at our request at the end of the tour and recommended good restaurants for dim sum. We enjoyed his service very much that we hired him to give us a ride to Windsor Castle a couple days later. I highly recommend Simon for your taxi tour in London and nearby famous spots!
