An excellent visit. Antonio guided us through the museum, following a historical timeline and helping us navigate the most significant art movements represented in the collection.

Excellent experience in all ways. Tara is a super engaging, knowledgeable, funny, articulate, personable guide. She is passionate about art, British history, and has innumerable interesting stories to share, using an ipad on occasion to show relevant graphics and historical bits. Easy arrangements, excellent communication, started on time and filled two hours with great information. The museum was fairly full but she led us through the throngs with ease. Highly recommended for a first timer, although she asked about our level of art awareness, so no doubt could engage even the highly experienced.

We had such a wonderful experience with Tara! She is an amazing guide, incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about art. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and she made the entire visit so interesting and enjoyable. She shared fascinating stories and pointed out little details we would have never noticed on our own. We also really appreciated how she used her tablet to show us close-ups of the paintings and comparisons with artworks from other famous museums, like the Uffizi and the Louvre. Such a thoughtful touch! We absolutely loved the tour and couldn’t recommend Tara enough!

Yoyo gave us a small group tour of western art providing a delve into the development of art techniques over the last 500 years. The guide was friendly and approachable, spoke with clarity and provided insights into the interpretation of each piece we viewed. The time flew by , we didn't feel rushed and infact she was happy to extend tour by 10 minutes to make sure all our questions were answered. We would thoroughly recommend .

This tour was amazing! The Madonna of the rocks welcomes you as the tour begins and it just keeps getting better! Yayoi (YOYO) was our guide and her knowledge, passion and insight of the art at the Gallery comes through every step with every painting! She made it extremely interesting and I honestly wish that her tour of the gallery extended another 2-3 hours to cover more of the amazing works featured there. The Gallery itself is impressive and breathtaking! STUNNING! Loved YOYO and all the beautiful art!

Great way to navigate such a huge collection. The audio cut in and out with the headsets. Kept hearing other guides and our guide wasn't sure how to fix it. Mira had LOTS of information about the pieces we saw

Our guide, YoYo was fabulous! She selected curated pieces and went into great depth regarding each piece. We would never have been able to understand the richness of art technique and history without her! She was also very attentive to each member of the group! Highly recommend! Tara did a beautiful job walking us through the highlights of 750 years of art, including how each generation inspired subsequent generations. After a break for lunch, my daughter and I used that knowledge to return to the Gallery and to see the rooms we wished to spend more time in. Our guide was excellent, bringing our group through the galleries to show us specific examples of art over the centuries. Subjects covered included the artists’ lives, the reason and subject of the painting, the materials used and their place in art history. With each painting, as the description progressed, it seemed that parts of the painting which previously seemed dark began to brighten and reveal hidden details. A wonderful experience.

Went on a tour with Yayoi our guide earlier this week. Great communication beforehand and she was waiting for us in the right place at the right time. Amazing how quickly two hours could go - covering work from the 1400s to the 20th century. Highly recommended - the sheer size of the place means you'll never see it all on your own in one visit so being guided around the highlights made it a great trip.

Joey is an excellent guide. Our visit was most enjoyable and informative. He put the paintings we viewed in an historical context and explained any symbolism. The two hours flew by and it was great to have an in depth commentary on some famous paintings.

Joey our guide emphasized he importance of the “context” (the story about the creation of the art work and the artist) . He selected a representative work for each “segment” in art history -from Middle Ages to the renaissance, baroque , up to the modern times of the impressionists, highlighting the exquisite great masters richly represented in this wonderful collection. She managed to gave us a very deep insight into almost 200 years of art history in 2 hours, showing she masters the topic and surely many years of experience on it. The tour was interesting and funny but deep and with lots and lots of details that one will miss going on their own. Absolutely amazing !
