All the exhibits were grest. Viator came thru. Hop on/off was a waste. 2 hrs to travel 4 stops. Faster to walk. B7s3s did not start or arrive at stops until AFTER ticketed venues opened. Wld not recommend
Me and my friend first used the Go City pass in New York last year so we decided to use it for London this year, it saved a fortune! We did Hard Rock Cafe, The Shard, Up at the O2, St Paul's Cathedral and Moco Museum. We were in London between 4th and 8th June for a concert and had a long weekend of being tourists as well. Using the Go City is well worth it. They have lots of choice which is nice that you can choose what you want to do
No way would I recommend this pass. Save your money and buy at the location or direct from the merchant. Places we tried to use on the last day were closed...unforeseen. i asked for a partial refund and was declined. Do not use this pass. No comvenience
We bought a three day pass for our five day stay in London. The pass paid for itself in terms of getting through queues seamlessly and definitely saved us money. We were able to get to Westminster, The Tower, St. Paul’s, Kensington, a Thames boat cruise, and a very cool immersive art display simply by having our passes scanned. We used a two-day hop on/bus service, included, to get around the busiest places. Well worth the expense if you want to go to a lot of attractions. My only negative was the Big Bus hop on/off bus firm they partner with. They were frequently late or too crowded to comfortably “sight-see” out of the windows. One driver told me they had pared the fleet down from about 80 to about 50. I have no way of knowing if that’s true but it would explain why buses from the competing firms seemed more consistent and had space to sit and enjoy.
Total scam regarding The Shard—do not buy! Save your money. The London Pass lists The Shard as a top attraction, but it is impossible to book through their app. I checked every single day and it always says "no spots," yet the official Shard website has plenty of availability for those same dates. Customer service is useless and won't help. It’s a classic bait-and-switch. Don't fall for it!
I purchased GoCity passes for a trip to London, only to discover that reservations for attractions were completely broken. Not a minor inconvenience, completely non-functional. Getting hold of customer support was already a challenge in itself. When I finally managed to reach someone, they confirmed there was a known issue with the reservation system and told me to simply “wait a few days.” The problem? I was already in London. Waiting a few days is not an option when your trip is happening right now. When I pushed back and made clear this was unacceptable, their only alternative suggestion was to visit other attractions, as if I hadn’t planned my trip around the ones I’d paid for. And when I rejected that as a solution too, the final answer from their support team was to wait for my passes to expire and then contact them. Let that sink in: their resolution is to let paying customers waste their passes, ruin their trip, and deal with it afterward. No emergency fix, no refund, no real accountability. This is not customer service. This is a company that takes your money, delivers a broken product, and hides behind bureaucratic delays when you’re most vulnerable: mid-trip, in a foreign city, with no time to fight back. If you’re planning a trip and counting on GoCity to actually work, think twice. A product that fails silently and a support team that offers no real help when it counts most is, at best, deeply negligent and at worst, a scam.
So I had researched the Go City London passes to see which of the attractions I & my spouse were interested in seeing were covered. Based on that research, I found that the 7 attraction Explorer pass was the best fit - mainly because of not knowing exactly when we were going to visit all 7 places. So we arrive at our second attraction - the Royal Mews - and discover at the box office that our passes weren't working. A slow chat with Go City's help support (via their app) revealed that neither the Royal Mews nor the Kings Gallery were covered by the Explorer pass (see conversation image). This after their site had clearly stated that both attractions were covered by this pass (see image from website - all passes clearly present). Go City was unwilling to offer any refund for the 2 attractions we had purchased it for, and shortly afterwards, I saw that they had "fixed" their site to reveal that "all passes" had been a lie (see after image).
The pass worked very well in all places we visited - of course, as always in London, being early will help.
My ticket is not synching in the go city app and you have 0 customer services? They will not help me as I bought this via trip advisor Shane on
Don't get this pass! It started fine. We went to the tower bridge and the Tower of London, but when we wanted to visit the dome from Saint Pauls, we couldn't because it was Sunday. It would've been nice if Go City would mention that on their website! So we went to Sea Life. They don't work with Go City pass since March!! That would've been fine to know before getting the pass. We went to the London Zoo and luckily they let us in, but it was a big no go for us.
I was lied to about how long the pass was when I brought it and my pass was used somewhere I did not go proved I didn’t but they didn’t care
I purchased the all-inclusive Go City pass for a family of four for £357, which claims access to 107 London attractions. My mistake was missing the fine print – the pass is valid for one calendar day only, not even 24 hours. On Day 1, we tried Westminster Abbey at 1:30 PM but were turned away as they prioritized direct ticket holders over reseller passes like Go City. We managed to get on the London Eye at 5:30 PM, but on Day 2, at 9:00 AM at the Tower of London, we learned the pass had already expired! How can anyone visit more than 1–2 attractions in a single day, let alone 107? Spending £357 felt like throwing money down the drain. Some attractions even de-prioritize entry for reseller tickets like Go-City, as we experienced. You’re better off booking directly with attractions rather than dealing with these misleading resellers.
This pass not only saved us $$ but we went ahead of all line ups!! Per person (adult) I saved $110 pounds per person - for us that translated to a savings of $200 Canadian per person. It’s a no brainer. TIP: print off your passes to avoid any wifi issues.
I had an outstanding experience using the London Pass during our recent family trip. We purchased the pass for £160/adult for 4 days, at the beginning of the year, taking advantage of a fantastic discount — and it turned out to be one of the best decisions of our trip! Even though our itinerary was not too packed (we did about 3–4 attractions per day), we easily covered activities and entry fees worth well over £350+ / adult. The pass gave us the flexibility to enjoy London at our own pace while still maximizing value. About GoCity app — it was incredibly user-friendly, well-designed, and made it easy to access, book, and manage all our attractions. We faced zero issues throughout the trip. The entire experience was smooth, efficient, and hassle-free. Highly recommend the London Pass for anyone visiting the city and wanting to explore multiple attractions without worrying about individual ticketing or long queues. Great value, excellent app, and overall a 10/10 experience!
A Waste Of Money On May 6, I purchased 2 London 2day passes from a very aggressive sales person in the Underground Train Station. I called the next day to book the British Music and British icon tours. Also. The wax museum. I was told they were booked up. I went on the go city app. I was told that we purchased the tickets through another company. Really? Then why do I have their app. And they have a record of my reservation? I paid 435.00 for 2 tickets. What a waste of money! I will plan legal action against this scamming company . They lie and will not tell you that they know these attractions are already booked up. This situation really sent bad vibes to our trip to the uk from the USA. Shame on them!
The sites we visited were fantastic, with easy entrance access and genuine savings. The London Pass was definitely worth the price, and Go City proved to be an excellent tool for our trip
It was okay. Lots of places fully booked, 80-90% of the stuff is limited up until 5pm. And some venues were completely closed. A link between the attractions and the app would be perfect.
We purchased 3 passes that allowed us to choose 3 different activities. Trying to maximize our bang for a buck we chose the London Eye, Tower of London, and the Big Bus Hop on-off tour which will take you practically ANYWHERE in London! We used the bus to see other sites while also taking us to the tower. This was so well worth it as it was extremely easy to use and all locations recognized the Go City app and passes. I would highly recommend and would choose an even larger package next time to do even more.
especially since Madame Tussauds and London Eye are in the list again in makes a lot of sense to use the London Pass while staying in London for a few days. Very easy handling, quick help if needed and you can plan your tours so much better and save time as well. I definitely can recommend this way of travelling!
Definitely the pass allowed me save money and it works just as it is said, if you are a tourist want to visit a important number of attractions in few days I recommend buying it.
Used the Go City London Pass to access a variety of places. No issues at any locations. If you are going to access multiple places, this can save you money. Recommend pricing entry on where you want to go to ensure this is a good option. It was for our family.
Avoid Go City at All Costs! I had an absolutely infuriating experience with Go City while trying to purchase a city pass for London. After finally making my payment, their website crashed—yet the transaction still went through. To my disbelief, I never received my tickets. When I contacted their customer service for help, they were completely unhelpful. They flat-out refused to issue a refund or resend my tickets, insisting I deal with my bank instead. This level of negligence and lack of accountability is unacceptable. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of Go City. There are plenty of reliable options out there. Don’t waste your time and money on a scammy site that doesn’t care about its customers!
Just DON’T! I purchased 3-2day passes and had a medical emergency on day 2. Emailed asking to use the 2nd day and was told that wasn’t possible as my passes had expired. We saw Kensington Palace. Paid almost $600 US. For about $120 US in passes. When asked about a refund I was told that they could only offer me 20% off the unused portion. About $100! What a total RIP OFF AVOID AT ALL COSTS - NO SAVINGS SND EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
Some attractions are not incuded in All Inclusive Passes. But are included in Explorer passes which means extra money.
The pass covered most of the popular locations in London. The pass is super convenient and easy to use especially a lot of spots no need to queue or easily book/revise on the app. We bought the 6 days pass which is very good to covered most of the place we want to visit. Highly recommended.
The London Pass was worthwhile, but we assumed that by getting the pass, we could just turn up somewhere and enter the relevant attraction. We arrived at the London Eye just before 10 am and were told we had to book, even though we had the pass. Whilst it was easy to make the booking, there were no gaps until midday, so we had to return a bit later. We also found some sights were easier to book than others. I'd use the London Pass again, but would book the sights 24 hours in advance.
The Go City Pass saved us 60 pounds for each person in the 3 days we stayed in the city. we did a walking tour around Buckingham Palace, visited the Shard, the London Eye, the Tower, the Emirates Stadium and many more. It was really nice and easy to enter every venue with the Go City Pass. On one day we also used the Hop On Hop Off Bus to see some more things around the city. Thanks to the Go City App and pass everything was quite easy.
It is a bit expensive for what we can do with children. The choice of interesting things is reduced...I think the Quality could be improved...
We visited a lot of places. Had amazing experience. London pass saved us time to buy tickets and get us faster to attractions.
We visited London this summer and I Bought the 7 days London Pass. We used it a lot for many attractions (bike tour, Madame Tussaud, London eye, London’s Bridge, some stadium tour and many others). It’s an easy way to save money.
So easy to use! We visited the Tower of London and Westminster Abbey. A tour on the BusyBus was welcomed during a rain shower and gave us ideas for our next visit to London. Well worth it !
It’s fine when everything works as it should, but Customer Service was nonexistent when we needed them during the day of our pass, and are still frustratingly unhelpful since we got home. Once they have your money, you’ll just have to hope you don’t need their help. We missed out on several attractions due to their negligence.
Did not get money worth. I did the 4 day pass and lost money. I would advise you in London to just get tickets to what you want to do. London is so big and due to traffic and most places close between 3/30 and 4:30, unless you race thru the big activities, you are lucky to do 3 passes a day. We stayed in Westminster and still was unable to do several things that were in our itinerary . Kensington Palace takes about 45 minutes to get to and you will spend most of the day there. Windsor castle is an hour ride out of London, so that’s basically a whole day. Westminster Abbey and St. John catheter is most of a day. Tower of London tickets are timed and sell out during busy months. With the go pass, you are unable to book ahead, you have to go and hope something is available- which makes it challenging in scheduling your day to do things in each area. I’m sorry I did the go pass in London. I gave it a 1 star because I emailed company x3 to see if I could get a refund for 1 day and they do not even respond. Very disappointed.
It´s been simple to install the app. We had great savings.ans it has been easy to use the app. All intrances were quick and without any problems.
We had such a wonderful experience with the pass. We did not need to book in advance for most activities and got to skip lines for some as well. For those that needed advanced booking, such as Madame Toussaud's, the process was easy and we could book same day. The app helped us organize which activities could be done the same day. We did many activities that we wouldn't have without the pass. The only disappointment was the London eye. You book in advance for a time to start waiting in a line of about an hour long to get in. We tried a few times but gave up.
The Go City Pass was very convenient and if you do several attractions it does save money and time. For those ones which require a booking the online portal is easy to use and saves lining up for tickets.
The pass really made getting around and getting into attractions simple. We planned our day around it to some extent, and then ended up enjoying a couple of included attractions that we didn't initially set out for. Really a great value.
We purchased these passes for our family of 12. First, I don't believe these passes save you money. Their passes don't take into account that most tours have reduced prices for children. So their estimate of savings is grossly overstated. Second, making a reservation for a tour is nearly impossible. They don't answer the phones for hours at a time, and they hang up or disconnect the call after holding for 30-45 minutes (13 times) , the email reservation does not work at all, the chat function would not let me get to a person, only a bot., and their website would not make any reservations because they didn't recognize my email which they use daily to send me messages to buy their product. In total I spent 9 hours on the phone trying to make a reservation for two tours. Buying these passes was not the worst decision in my life, that title still belongs to my ex wife, but it was close.
I was trying to reserve the Changing Guards tour but there is no availability even though it is 2 months ahead. Having said that, the site has another link suggesting me to buy another package and there is availability. What a scam!
Good value Easy to use Great way to see the city and the want to go to places Need to have better on line tools for planing the trip ahead of time We only had wifi while in London so it made the planing difficult Otherwise it was great
Easy. Explorer Pass works offline. Great saying. Pick and mix what you want to use it for and chose the right Pass to suit your taste.
Our group of five bought the 4-day All Inclusive pass, which worked everywhere without any issues. The company clearly states the attractions where you need to do additional time slot bookings; once you have reserved the desired (and available) time slots for visiting, entrance to these attractions (including at The Shard) worked flawlessly.
It listed attractions you might otherwise overlook. The best for us was the 30+ London Sights Tour with tour guide Greg. The most disappointing was the Hop On/Hop Off bus.
Worth purchasing - you save considerably versus buying individual tickets plus you gain faster access.would recommend this to anyone visiting London.
Overall the pass was great and had many options. However they did not admit us into the Shard even though we had a reservation. I had paid for drinks and wasn't refunded. I believe that is the fault of the Shard though not Go City.
Great opportunity to see the top places in London while making big savings! Definitely worth it and strongly recommended!!
We have had a very nice trip! We have visited Westminster Abby. We have made Parliament an Palace walking tour and the Harry Potter Movie tour!
Loved the ease of using this pass! Definitely worth the money and even gave me a couple extra perks just for buying - including a front of the line reservation for the London Eye! Next trip I do ill be looking for a Go City pass!!!
This company is absolute trash. I paid over 600 pounds for 3 days of the London pass. Supposedly they said I reserved a tour a WEEK before I got to London so therefore my pass expired and they won’t give me a refund. I asked them how I used the pass a week before I arrived? Got some bogus answer. Absolutely horrid customer service. Every bus company and other company says to avoid them at all costs in London. Thank god for my credit card company but I will never ever book with them again. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE AVOID AT ALL COST! I didn’t read the reviews and I wish I did
