From London: Shakespeare's Stratford & Cotswolds Small-group Tour

Wonderful tour. Nathan was great. Gave us enough information but didn't talk all the time. We enjoyed the tour.

The guide Nathan was a pleasure to spend the whole day with we felt taken care of and he was so polite and provided us so much great information. The tour was great and just the right amount of time per visit considering such a long day. Wonderful tour and great tour guide.

We went on a day trip with Paul from London Paddington to Cotswold and Stratford-Upon-Avon. It was well professionally executed, Paul did a great job of giving us some history and background. We had enough time to explore on our own at each stop, we did not feel rushed. Paul is very familiar with the area and took us to a couple of villages that other larger tours do not do. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour.

We wouldn't have seen so many little villages in a day by ourselves. Really worth it and highly recommend to get a taste of the Cotswold. The only con is that the video in the car introducing the area didn't play.

We went on a small group tour of the Cotswolds yesterday. The weather was great and our Tour Guide Ash was exceptional. He was very knowledgeable and gave us just the right amount of information about each of our stops. Ash made recommendations on various locations to seek out as well as restaurants or shops that we might like. He was also helpful in taking photos at some of the stops. Ash, was excellent. We would have liked to have stopped at a landscape viewpoint along the drive to take pictures & a little more history of the area but overall a great experience!!

Our guide for the day was Ash, and he was simply exceptional! From start to finish, he kept everyone in great spirits with a huge smile and shared incredibly fascinating context and information throughout the tour. Ash truly took care of everyone, drove wonderfully, and even took both group and individual photos so we could fully enjoy the views. On top of his great recommendations during the stops, he sent us a personalized follow-up email after the tour with all the photos and extra tips for the rest of our stay in London. There is a lot of walking, including stairs and moderate hills. This is manageable for most of the people.

I can't recommend this company, send me two do different tour times pickup for two different locations which was confusing and resulting in me missing the tour. They were inflexible in even switching the tour to the next day and stated no spots were available even tough Viator was showing spots available.

Amazing experience. Everything has been perfect, well organized and complete. Our guide Ash has been so good: very kind, very competent and last but not least funny.!

The trip was well paced and our guide, Ash, was really knowledgeable and funny (if you like the Brit humour!). The transportation was clean and comfortable and it has ac (really important with the current heatwave 😅)! The pick-up point is just opposite Paddington Station so it’s very accessible and easy to find. Overall, it was a great experience so I’ll highly recommend it.

My family had a full-day around the Cotswolds tour with Ash and he was fantastic. He recommended us some great places both around London and in each individual town, knew all of our names, and really made the trip feel fun. The trip was friendly and prioritized our experiences over a more tourist-y route. There was a lot to offer from each stop and each place had its own distinct purpose and unique history to it. Ash was a wonderful guide, and my family had a tremendous time!

Our driver was Ash, he was awesome. He was able to keep us on schedule and share all kinds of knowledge of the area. I found the tour a great escape from the hustle and bustle of London. It was a great way to get a taste of all that the Cotswolds offers

This trip was really worth getting up early 🙂 Ash did everything he could to beat the Saturday/good weather/school holidays-crowds and was successful. Spent a great day exploring those villages, country back roads and even Stratford-upon-Avon, which I couldn't remember being on the list. Loved those old houses and special charm of each village and learned a lot about Cotswolds-history. Glad I gave this tour/tour company another chance after unfortunately the exact same tour I booked last September had been canceled on short notice. I would for sure recommend this tour to my friends. Small comfortable bus, friendly tour guide - great value for the money.

Our host/guide/driver Ash is the best! Professional, knowledgeable, funny, involved. Ash asked for our small group's input on scheduling given expected tourist traffic in the Cotswolds. I use a cane- he offered assistance, showing genuine consideration to my comfort and activity level. Ash connected with each of us. A wonderful guide, a small group, sunshine and a beautiful region - who could ask for more? Would absolutely recommend this tour.

Every little detail was considered in this tour, it was perfectly planned and we got the most of it!

Ash was great!!! He kept us informed and on time during the whole trip. He was very knowledgeable of the history if the Coltswolds, was also very compassionate and understanding of our small group needs. In general he was friendly, comfortable temperature in the car gave us local recommendations and took pictures of our family. I would recommend this tour with Ash, we made beautiful memories.

Our guide Ash was great. All of the spots were filled which made for a tight ride in the van, but Ash was very good about it and offered for us to stow some items in the back so we weren’t as tightly crammed. We had to make a small adjustment to the itinerary because of some town closures but Ash was upfront about all the changes. I really liked the handout he provided that had little maps about each location as well as some self-tour options and details about the towns.

We enjoyed this tour immensely. Paul was an excellent guide and had so many interesting facts to pass along while we were touring the quaint villages.

We had a fantastic guided tour to the Cotswolds! The places we visited were beautiful, and the minibus was very comfortable and pleasant for the journey. We also had a good amount of time at each stop, which made the experience relaxing and enjoyable. Our guide, Ash, was absolutely excellent — friendly, funny, and incredibly welcoming. He even remembered everyone’s names on the bus, which was very impressive. He gave great recommendations, showed genuine interest in where we were from, and did a great job avoiding most of the traffic, making the trip smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend this tour!

Our tour to the Cotswolds was excellent from beginning to end. Everything was very well organized, and the places we visited were beautiful. Ash was a fantastic guide: always attentive, kind, and willing to help or answer any questions we had. I don’t speak perfect English, but it was very easy to understand everything Ash explained, which made the experience even more enjoyable and comfortable for me. Interesting and informative tour of the Cotswolds region. Driver and tour guide Paul gave us an in depth commentary of the area, whilst keeping it fun and low key when needed. Plenty of time to explore the villages. Would definitely recommend.

We all loved this tour and got to see some beautiful parts of England. Lots of photo ops, cute shops and a nice pub lunch stop. (I didn’t plan that rhyme but it’s good!) Ash was a fantastic guide and made the tour even better. He was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and so patient and professional especially when talking with a rude family that was late a couple of times. I’d highly recommend the tour and if Ash is your guide, you’re in for a treat.

Long, but lovely day spent touring seven small villages. Paul was not only our driver but a wonderful guide, and he provided colourful background, and history about the many places we drove past, and visited. We thoroughly enjoyed our day in the comfortable, small coach ( and Paul’s playlist on the way back to London). Highly recommend this tour!

O overall excellent (but long) day. Think we would've preferred fewer stops with more time spent at each stop, especially the lunch stop. Coach was comfortable, our driver was knowledgeable and fun.

The trip was amazing. We had to skip one of the destination, however the experience was well worth it. Our guide Nathan was amazing, very friendly, professional, easy to understand and answered all our questions. Thank you for this unforgettable day.

Efficient and enriching way to see Cotswolds, I Highly recommend, especially if you don’t have much time and can’t drive on a right site

Paul was personable, friendly and knew his history about the area! We visited 5 or so villages as well as Dtrayford on Avon.

Extremely cramped up sitting and seat belts very hard to use. Guide is good but trip was kind of rushed. Viator does not include Stratford upon Avon that this tour has. It was Cotswold at a glance and not detailed..

I’d loved this tour, saw several quaint villages, just wish we had a bit more time to explore. Our tour guide Paul was very knowledge and friendly. But I do have the say the van was extremely uncomfortable, very tight seats and very warm. But overall worth the discomfort to see the sites.

My seat and seat belt were broken. The seat back moved whenever the coach accelerated or braked. It wasn’t fair, especially for the person sitting behind me. The seat belt took a very strong effort to put into use and bound completely couple of times. What really irked was that the driver/guide Paul was aware of this and said nothing until queried. He chose to keep a full passenger load knowing one of the seats was broken. We spent 6+ hours riding in the coach so this became a significant problem. With the exception of two brief stops the sights were overrun with tourists and a proliferation of gift shops. It was easy to imagine how quaint these sights must have been before the tourism explosion. Driver Paul knew the narrow country roads well and drove safely. He provided minimal narration. For example it was a two hour drive from the London pickup to the first stop and he was silent for 1 and 1/2 hours of that segment. He does not guide you through visitation stops because he stays as the driver for the van. The van seats are nicely cushioned but very narrow and without much leg room. Think flying coach class in a very small plane with single seats on one side of the aisle and seat pairs on the opposite side of the aisle. Foot room is extremely limited. Windows have writing on them which adversely affects your view.

Wonderful day trip. Paul was fabulous! Wish we stayed in the coltswolds . 🤩 Otherwise no complaints 😉

This was such an amazing tour. Paul knew the area well and even added a bonus stop. Being with a smaller group allowed us to see much more. I would highly recommend this tour. Don’t hesitate to book this gem!
