Itinerary
Meet your guide outside the Tower of London Gift Shop, then head inside with your tickets. Once past security, walk through the medieval water gate where accused prisoners arrived by barge from the Thames. Your guide pauses at nearby Tower Green to recount the executions and court intrigues that unfolded in this cobblestone courtyard, including the final moments of Anne Boleyn.
Enter the tower that earned its name from the political murders and power struggles that played out within its stone walls. Your guide shares stories of the Yeoman Warders, royal scandals that shook the Tudor court, and prisoners who never saw freedom again.
Your guide leads you to the Jewel House entrance and shares the stories behind the royal regalia before you head inside independently. Browse coronation crowns, royal scepters, and the legendary Cullinan diamonds, cut from the largest rough gem-quality diamond ever found.
After checking out the Crown Jewels, step inside the central keep that William the Conqueror built in 1078, the oldest and most imposing structure in the Tower complex. Explore the royal armor collection, medieval weapons, and the Chapel of St. John at your own pace before exiting through the main gate.
