Fabulous day out with Beth. Beth took us to Blenheim Castle and the Cotswolds. Beth also took us to several villages the buses couldn’t access giving us a very unique and authentic experience. She was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating and the perfect guide for my mum and I. Highly recommend

This was our favorite tour and worth every dollar. Beth (owner/operator) is an amazing tour guide. Traveled with my 87 year old mom who walks with a cane. I wanted to ensure we had a flexible guide in case Mom got tired. Beth was proactive in her pre-tour communications. She picked up up at our hotel and we headed out. She was friendly and kind-we loved her immediately. We even convinced her to join us for a bite to eat at lunch time. She seemed more like a friend than a tour guide. We spent the entire day with her. She was very aware of where she picked us up or dropped us off since mom has some mobility concerns. Blenheim was amazing- and she even took us off site to visit Churchill’s grave. We enjoyed the Cotswolds and the weather was perfect. She’s very flexible- I saved her tour listing as I would recommend and schedule private tours with her on my next visit.
Excellent private tour. Beth was outstanding and flexible with where we were interested in going. Great planning with a reservation for lunch at a lovely pub in Burford. Would recommend this experience 1000 times over!!!
This trip was special, not only because of the places we visited but also thanks to our guide Beth. We were picked up from our hotel, which makes all things easier. First stop was Blenheim Place. we took guided tour of Duke's private chambers. To tell the truth, this place has a lot to offer and we could spend there additional 2-3 hours. Next we had a lunch in very nice restaurant in village called Burford. Followed by visit to beautiful village Bibury and Minster Lovell where are ruins of a medieval estate. The big plus of trip like this is that we could visit places where big busses are simply not allowed. Once again, I would like to thank Beth for a memorable day.
Wonderful day trip from London with Beth our friendly and knowledgable driver to Blenheim Palace and the Cotswolds . Beth was very adaptable to our suggestions for a side trip to Jeremy Clarkson’s pub The Farmer’s Dog for lunch. Very excited to do this. Also appreciated her choice of stops in the Cotswolds. Very interesting, competent and accommodating guide. Thanks for a fabulous day Beth!
An absolutely stress-free and educational trip to Blenheim Palace and two charming Cotswolds villages. Our driver, Beth, was very knowledgeable and pleasant. This experience was well worth the cost.
Our drive, Beth was outstanding. She was pleasant to spend the afternoon with and very knowledgeable on all that we were doing.
Beth was a very good guide and we spent a lovely day with her at Blenheim and touring the Cotswolds. She took us to a lovely restaurant for lunch and spent much of the day giving us a true feel of the Cotswolds area. We were not interested in just being dropped off at shops for an hour here and there but wanted to see the villages and countryside. Thank you for a very enjoyable view into your lovely country.
Our driver Beth was very flexible and accommodated our change in itinerary. We covered all that is noted in the title and she was very pleasant. She also helped us get some lunch when we ran behind schedule. All in all a wonderful day.! Thank you Beth!
Beth was very flexible and accommodating in this tour. We enjoyed chatting with her as we drove to each destination. We loved our last stop in the Villiage of Minster Lovel with the ruins of an old Hall in this idyllic setting.
Beth gave us an individualized and in-depth tour of the Cotswolds. She focused on what we really wanted to do and set up a wonderful place to have lunch and plenty of time to shop and enjoy the area. We were provided with tons of history and information in the comfort of her private car. This was our last day in London and it was such a nice break to get out to the countryside and experience that aspect of the area without having to be crammed into a bus full of people..well worth every cent.
Beth is a truly incredible person. Warm, kind, engaging, fun, and so easy to connect with. Our day was perfect!
We had a great experience with Beth at the drive. She is an excellent driver, with an open attitude to let you enjoy the wonderful trip to Bethleheim palace and the Costwolds. She made the reservation to an excellent restaurant and took us to visit a beautiful church and the ruins of a medieval castle
A welcome change to the up-and-at-‘em routine of touring in London, Beth’s tour gave us an opportunity to relax and to take in the natural beauty of the English countryside and of some of the small, self-contained towns and hamlets that make up this lovely area. And not all the delights were visual: at her suggestion we enjoyed a delicious Sunday roast at the Bay Tree Hotel in Burford and had the opportunity afterward to explore by foot and by car. First, though, came our visit to magnificent Blenheim Palace (family home to and accidental birthplace of Winston Churchill) in Woodstock. Fascinating for its history, design, grandeur, gardens, and art (including a number of pieces by Churchill himself), we could easily have enjoyed twice the time we spent. We were very happy to be working with Beth. She’s friendly, informative, flexible, a pleasure to ride with and be guided by. We agreed to all her recommendations and were glad we did. (And, last but not least for those like us, unused to British rules of the road, Beth’s a VERY good driver.) Although we can only vouch for this one, we're sure Beth brings the same qualities to all her tours. We highly recommend both.
Beth Tes of Majestic Voyages was terrific! She went the extra mile, literally—taking us through the Cotswold countryside for our return journey, even stopping on country lanes for photos. She made lunch reservations for us at the Bay Tree Inn, where we had a leisurely meal on their beautiful terrace. We had their Pork chop with romesco sauce and an especially delicious fish & chips. Beth is very easy-going, friendly and has all the up-to-the minute travel tips. We highly recommend her travel guide services!
Beth is an amazing tour guide, warm, polite and punctual. We loved chatting with her and appreciated her knowledge of the area. She set up luch a aloveely restaurant and we had time for shopping afterwards. We highly recommend Beth! Blenheim Palace is an incredible location and filled with history. and art. The included audio tour was a great addition to our tour. Everyone at the palace was helpful and professional.
A large part of Blenheim Palace is surrounded by scaffolding for a roof repair, and we found it a bit disorganised. There are no audio guides and wasn’t enough cell service to use the QR code audio guide. There’s very few people onsite to guide you; it’s mostly placards that tell you pertinent info as you walk through. The downstairs kitchen was open with no extra fee to view it and that was interesting to see. We had a lovely lunch after the palace tour and did a brief walk through Woodstock, then on to Burford. In the tour itinerary it said we had two hours in Burford to explore and shop but our guide only gave us 35 minutes in order to beat traffic back to London. We were extremely disappointed as there were many shops to explore with local goods but there was only time to visit 2-3, and no time to see the quaint Cotswald homes and side streets as anticipated. Burford is mainly one 5-6 block street with shops and hotels and restaurants. For the money we paid, as a group of 6 we decided it was overall disappointing.
Beth is an excellent host. She took us to Blenheim and dropped us off there. She had arranged a nice spot for lunch and shared lots of good information. We were quite happy with her, the drive and the site. Our decision was to only do Blenheim. We had already gone to the other places: Cotswolds and Oxford. We would use her again.
We spent a wonderful day with Beth traveling up to Woodstock (Bleinheim) and the countryside of the Cotswolds. From the start, Beth was available and answered all our questions. She was flexible in meeting us, was on time and truly set the stage for a fun day together. She did a great job pointing out areas of interest and was chatty but gave us time to talk among ourselves. As we toured Blenheim, she made lunch reservations for us at a lovely inn in Woodstock (highly recommend). After that we meandered down to Burford taking in all the sights and had time to walk town before heading back to London. If you're considering this tour, don't hesitate! Beth was a wonderful guide, full of knowledge and such a sweet person. Thank you, Beth!
Great experience, my guide told me a lot about the destinations I was visiting and had the visit times well managed.
Beth Jovis all day I took us to some of our favorite places. She’s charming and we talked the whole way. She is the most competent driver and I felt very safe with her under some really trying circumstances on the roads with all the construction and rain. She was most accommodating when we asked for a special by way to have lunch with friends in an alternative village. She knew all the cities well it was able to position it very well for walking to her. Be sure to ask for Beth.
